To this day Darkstalkers is my favourite fighting game series, I used to spend hours as a teen at my local arcade playing this game and Jon was my favourite character to use and my second favourite Darkstalker. As I am Canadian Sasquatch is my favourite because he is Canadian and I always had fun playing as him; even though I was better at and preferred Jon's play style. I also played Killer Instinct a lot with my friends and Sabrewulf was a fun/cool character to use. Although I like Jon more than Sabrewulf, I won't be upset if either wins as Werewolves are cool.

There are five great werewolves in gaming history that i can think of: Sabrewulf (Killer Instinct) Jon Talbain (Darkstalkers) Yugo Ogami (Bloody Roar) Brad Fang (Contra) Bigby Wolf (The Wolf Among Us) I know Bigby may not be as combat oriented but his power in his true form is near limitless...after all he is the son of great North Wind, Boreas Frostheart...who is practically a God.
doesnt take into account that the death of having intestins/entrails ripped out and that if jon had full control like as was stated he wouldnt have been affected by the moon so really the battle would have ended in a draw where both died to blood loss or sabrewulf won by jons intestine loss
While I often disagree with Death Battle *either because they over emphasize experience or speed in one match but then disregard them for a single weakness that may have only come up once and then was forgotten in another...and the few cases they choose not to use amalgam versions of a character *because doing so would have made them win against the other fighter* in some clear bias (despite stating early on they use amalgam versions). i like both characters so i'm not annoyed Jon won but...i do feel Sabrewulf's full power was not displayed; Sabrewulf's power is drawn from the moon and he has never shown the power to shoot "fire bats" except in the old Killer Instinct...in the new one Sabrewulf is fuelled by rage and luna energy...if he is out in the moonlight your basically fu%$ed...and the more you hurt him the more dangerous he is...because he gets more angry and more savage. some of this was portrayed well in the fight but they didn't show Sabrewulf's eclipse powers...he is able to slash with blue energy and do backflips that cut with blue energy and those do lethal damage. It even mentions in KI that his cuts can cut through almost any material.
I'm not a fan of both Killer Instinct or Darkstalkers, but the battle was cool. But i kinda wish they did this battle in 3D. Hell, any other battle in 3D would be cool. Cause, they did some battles in 3D, and even few in live action style, if i remember right. So yeah, would be cool to see that. Also, notice how i didn't hate about this Death Battle episode? That is do to a reason i mentioned above. I'm not a fan of both of those games. Thus, i don't care who wins here. But the battle was fun.

I am just a little curious about the Honkai Impact 3rd reactions. I know you've said before they were likely coming but that has been quite a while. If its an issue of waiting for an English dub im sorry to say I dont think thats happening anytime soon. Regardless I still hope to see that journey soon its definitely worth it and a couple new cinematic have released since you last visited Hoyoverse content. Including their teaser for the finale of "Act 1" of Honkai's story as it is called.
