Very cool Jeff. I knew the name Astro Blasters but just couldn't visualize it. Of course, after seeing this I totally remember playing this in the arcades growing up. Hats off to Del for helping out while you recover.

Hehe thank you. Yeah.. surgery was 6 weeks ago and went very well. Healing up faster than I anticipated, but still very sore, so I'm able to do some arcade stuff, but no heaving lifting yet. They say 4-6 months for full recovery. Ya can't really see in the video, but when I put the empty cabinet on it's side those few times, I'm only using my one arm to lower it down and lift it up :)
That’s a very nice example of Astro Blaster. I’ve seen & played them in this style standard wood grain cabinet, a Sega convert a cab version, & the even more rare white cabinet with the alternative teal color art on the cab. Awesome game & pickup!
Thank you! I saw the teal-colored version on eBay a couple weeks ago. Do you know what the deal is with that version? Like why did Sega/Gremlin change the color scheme, etc. and which version came out first.
@@WWJKD1 I actually don’t know which version came out first, could be the teal versions were for overseas & some stayed in the u.s. ? I also have seen online even more rare the cabaret & cocktail versions. Awesome game none the less, keep up the great work & videos.
Must be nice to have the time and energy tomorrow to pick Up games like this…:a lot of us work daily and can’t commit to our hobby or lowball sellers to get games
Seems like you have more time than most. Especially being able to post videos and work on stuff. Also I’m sure good deals come your way and ya scoop up games cheaper than most. I’ve been lowballer so bad by collectors then see the same game relisted for way more than what I got paid

Hi there! Oh, I do have a normal day job too. I just squeeze in the hobby whenever I can. Even if it's just 30 min here and there.
It was a fair price IMHO. Not lowballed at all. In fact, it was a friend of a friend who sold it.😅
