Haha 500! It's actually been 8 weeks, but I'm happy to say that it's doing much better. Still sore and I cant really lift anything too heavy, but I'm happy to be working on the games again.

I've been collecting and restoring for more than 20 years, but have never done any replacement wood working. You're giving me the confidence to take my first stab at it this spring. Thank you for making these videos!

Thank you for the comments and I'm happy that I inspired you to give it a try. Definitely let me know if you have any questions when you start doing the work!

This is basically building a brand new cabinet. Its going to look mint! I know alot of serious arcade collectors hate it but maybe throw the old one back together, throw a multi in it and sell it cheap. Some people like the beat up patina, and aren’t too fussy about originality. It would be a win win!

Hi! Hmmm... well, I'm still using all the existing inside pieces, so it's not really a complete scratch build. Just replacing the water damaged pieces... I didn't mention it in the video, but you can smell the mold on these pieces, so I don't think anyone would want the stuff I'm removing :)

What would our Jeef do? He'd get busy wookin! Shout out to John for his laminate. I miss Dunkin Donuts closing all their stores here in the UK, theirs was the best! Nice upload dude.

Love your cabinet restorations! My Pengo needs a lot of love, may need some pointers from you once I get to it and weather warms up.

Your video skillz are getting better and better with every episode Jeff!
Curious as to why you went with particleboard instead of a higher grade of ply or something? Authenticity? Costs? I try to avoid particleboard and MDF at all costs lol. Hate both.

Haha yeah... I still have a long way to go with my video making/editing, but it's fun learning the process!. As for the wood used, typically I will try to use the same wood that was used originally. Sometimes, depending on the game and what I have laying around I will use different type of wood, but most of the time I will use what was originally used. Hehe I'm OK with particle board, but I do hate MDF too!! Haha
