This maybe a bit of a tall request but brother I'd appreciate it if you could do more cheaper family saloons... Call me old fashioned but I'm not really into the crossover/SUV thing. Don't have a need of one.
This is actually a good looking car. Easy to drive, great fuel consumption and has everything anyone really needs at that price tag. Good car excellent review... Keep them coming 😊
Got the 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid XSE a month ago, waited about 3 months for it to reach the dealer, traded in my 2019 Jeep Compass with 10k miles for 15.5k (this thing was getting 15 mpg in the city even with steady driving). Probably the best CUV I've owned other than the 2005 Rav4 my dad traded in 10 years ago for a 2016 HRV (instantly regretted it lol)
Thank you for the review. I have the 2024 Corolla Cross LE Premium gas model. I love it! But, my seat heater on "Low" gives off absolutely zero heat, and "High" is barely lukewarm. I tested this in the summer, wearing light clothes. So, I don't think I will feel it at all in the winter time while l wear my heavy coat. 🙁 Also, the wireless charger is very, very sloooow 😶 Do the side mirrors fold in?
One of Toyot's shortcomings with the Corolla Cross Hybrid is the lack of consumer access to the yellow version. There is simply a complete lack of the vehicles on dealer lots. In a way it's a case of false advertising.
You've reviewed the XSE which is the top trim with a lot more features than the lesser trip. Can you give info of what is in those trims? I love my 2023 SE Hybrid even without a spare tire? What was Toyota thinking with putting the high voltage cables where the spare tire would go? Plus for tall folks it's a tight car. Putting the front seat all the way back reduces the leggings room for the back seat to next to nothing.
I hope those headlights don't come to NA. THAT would be the biggie for me, went ahead with the 2024 SE. I don't believe the mileage computes, I'll know in a few more months, just getting to 1k after 2.5 months. Guesstimate 65+ MPG
They should have used the yaris cross design for the rear. Other than that, it boggles my mind how they have some good upgrades in one models, but don't bring it to another. My 2021 yaris cross has a power socket in the trunk, why this bigger, more expensive car doesn't have one is... odd. They also angled the infotainment screen towards the driver in the 2024 yaris line, but why not on the corolla?? What's with the puny af tanks? Kind of a contradiction to make an efficient hybrid but chain it with a tank that limits it to the same range my moms old accord has with double the tank capacity.
I like to make jokes about manufacturers putting the name so many times around the car like “just in case you forget you drive [this]” but the amount of people I meet that have not one clue what even the make of the car is. Couldn’t tell me if they’re driving a Maserati or a Mazda, and couldn’t care less.
I sat in one and not so sure it's for me. First of all, the power liftgate is extra, and you must get the convenience package for both power liftgate and sunroof. The upgraded stereo system is $800 U.S. which is a bit overpriced, but not an issue for me. What is an issue? NO SPARE TIRE!!!! Also, the heated steering wheel is ONLY available in Canada not the U.S. I sat inside an SEL trim so not sure if the XSE leather seats feel different (too narrow?). Don't want to be a Debbie Downer (oops, too late), but that tiny 8" infotainment screen is hard to see and use. As for me, I'm still leaning towards my 3rd Hyundai Kona. The 2024 (2025?) Kona Limited AWD. Gas mileage sucks, but I don't care, as I drive under 5000 miles/year nowadays. But that Millenium Falcon interior is so cool!
Yeah, if you are going to spend money on a vehicle you may as well enjoy it. The Cross has far too many shortcomings to compete with the competition. The new Kona is awesome, but also consider the KIA Seltos. I leased a 2021 for 3 years and it was amazing.
@@Ricky-mo6mv Actually, I've decided, after a test drive, to lease a 2024 KIA Niro PHEV, where I will get the full $7500 federal tax credit off MSRP, plus a rebate from my utility company to install a level 2 charger in my garage. I've fallen out of love with Kona, as it looks like a sherman tank to me!
I rented one and it drives great but it was not this pretty. Great on gas so the hybrid should be boss level on gas. This would be the only Toyota that would take me away from buying a Lexus other than a Camry. The interior of the cross is disappointing only because rival vehicles look more futuristic like Mike mentioned.
i have a CC with 2.0 gas engine non hybrid. I use extreme driving style (hyper milling and cruise around 80 km/h) to extract the best mileage. So far my best try was 4.167L/100km, which is about 56 MPG. My overall MPG after 8000km of driving is 46.94.( 5.0L/100km) So the M20A FKS coupled with CVT is extremely efficient.
I got a Toyota cross hybrid . And had ask hundreds of Toyota owner what the knob or button on the passenger front dash board. It sit just right behind the front wind screen. What is the purpose of it. Anyone can tell me. See video below. Appreciate if anyone know that do that round button do. th-cam.com/users/shortso8xeg_Kt62E?si=WrQuk-513PNwtIvz

What other affordable cars should we review this winter?
How about the Kia Rio?
2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe
Mazda cx50 Meridian edition 2024
This maybe a bit of a tall request but brother I'd appreciate it if you could do more cheaper family saloons... Call me old fashioned but I'm not really into the crossover/SUV thing. Don't have a need of one.
More plug in hybrids if possible, I’m looking for one so I’d like to see more reviews

Great humor and informative too! Fun to watch.
Thanks Raymond!
Excellent review, very considerate of real life drivers.
Thank you!

I like the small turning radius of this SUV😁
It's insanely good, I still haven't done a 3 point turn in it.
My wife and I just spected this out on the website. It came to 36k US. Nice car she likes that color too. Unique

Honest Review... Awesome Toyota suppose to hire people like you .. Great Job !
Great review. Excellent. Very thorough and thoughtful.
Appreciate it thank you!

Great video, I’m always interested in this as we get the Yaris Cross hybrid and the new CHR
Amazing video, first time watcher and I’m amazed. If you can do a review on the 2024 Venza
This is my 7 Toyota, and it is a great car. Mini RAV. 😊 1:27
I think this the perfect first car!
I completely disregarded this car because I saw the specs of the gas-only version. had no idea the hybrid was this good! might get one down the road
A younger Canadian Jason Camisa. Love your reviews

I was in Medellín and spotted the Yaris Cross and the Yaris (not the us version). Why we don't have those two in USA?
I AGREE! 🇺🇸
I Don’t like this car at all, but loved the video! Great Job guys, as always!! 👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks!!! 👍
Toyota is the best 👌
Can I remove that large foam block from the rear and place my own spare tire in there?..
I would like them to increase the infotainment screen size a smidge. But other than that, I actually would consider this!
Has the wait time improved on the Corolla Cross? The last time I had checked with a local dealer, it was one year.
Got ours in less than a month in Amherst OH
Less than a month in GA
If Canada pricing was similar to the US, I would have a much different vehicle.
Bronco sport is on the same platform as Escape. Those are compact, not subcompact.
Is the microphone better now ?

Smells good
I really love this car, anyone to buy it for me please 😊
I do like this, but that's a tiny gas tank. And no spare tyre is a big deal.
Any of the Toyota Crowns, Signia? Is it affordable? Idk nothing really is these days 😂
We will definitely get the Signia when it comes to the press fleet! Haha yeah unfortunately, hope things change this year.

Standard hybrid vehicle.
Why? Toyota CH-R Turbo no one cares about? I have this for 3 years and loving it 🎉
Cx30❤❤❤
Yes, pushing to get one on the channel!
Ésta no es una demostración completa!!!! ... es obligatorio mostrar el compartiimiento del motor!!!!
wanna see crown suv
Armrest not sliding forward is a big-big minus.
The car is called the Frontlander in China😊
You are indian?😅 Glad to hear that 🤗
Beutiful car

Better get one before they are $50k in a year or two!
Chevy trailblazer ?
Forgot about that one ooops. Would be a good one to review. Maybe the Trax too!
Nice rig- but nope on the hybrid, ill stick to an all gas motor...
I liked the CHR but they did not provide a North American Hybrid version. 😒
Clean
😍😍😍

Yeah, the interior is depressing. I would go crazy sitting in that thing.
Toyota really muffed up the interior of this vehicle as they always do.
Why ?? Rav 4 its better
Less money, leatherette seats, smaller. Not everyone needs or wants a rav4
@@gian_m cheaper the estate then. Unless groundclearance is worth it
Not everyone can afford a Rav4
Rav4 Cablegate
Why do Canadians pronounce "Toyota" that way? "Taiyota"?
