Best of luck to you getting this thing running. I have heard tales from older loggers on how McCulloch chainsaws were notoriously hard starting. So hard that there is at least one out in a local forest having been thrown down a ridge by its owner after refusing to start for over 2 hours.

They both work at their uncles(or something) autoshop and they're both amazing at fixing old stuff. I mean, older cars from the 60's and 70's. Their uncle and most of the employees at this shop just take care of regular, modern vehicles, but these two kids do older stuff. The girl completely restored the fuel injection system for my '74 Porsche 911. I mean, totally. New gaskets, membranes, bent new fuelpipes, the lot. Even brazed and fixed some dents and cracks in the aluminium body and stuff. And she's freakin' half my age!

@@tadeuszgladysz7387 I just popped down to the closest trade school a week ago to inquire about going to their diesel mechanic school. The tuition is $20k. Technically it could be $10k if I signed up for a company sponsorship. And I would also have to give up my current job to do it. If you count the money lost from that job it would cost me $110-120k. I'm not going to qualify for aid because of the current job I work to support my family. This is for a community service type trade school in Detroit. If someone would be willing to grant me that kind of money just to learn how to fix trucks, I'd be willing to do it.
