I think these Skims dupe dresses will look great with the creamy white cardigan❤
You might finish the look with a gold necklace and some flat shoes! Plus, a bun hairdo will look great w this look (not a sleek bun but a non-sleek one with some loose curls close to your face, like the one that you wore in one of your Soft Dramatic vids)😊
P.S. I wrote this comment in the middle of the video and then you mentioned the same combo in the end and I was like OMG OMG😮❤

It’s easy to forget just how sensory and emotional clothes can be. They can provide joy, attachment, safety, identity, confidence and energy. You’re right that clothes can also be toxic and this system seems fab to help align all those things in a positive way 😊x

So brilliantly put! I've really enjoyed the book, it's very easy to follow and put into practice.

I think you're exactly on the point I was at a few months ago. You hit a wall. But don't worry, you'll soon be able to either tear it down or add a door to it. You probably only miss a "click" moment. It can be frustrating, but I do think, the more frustrating it is, the more fun the next step will be. For me it was actually just ONE garment I added to my wardrobe that kickstarted the next step on my journey. And when I bought it, I would've never thought that would happen. But that overcoat just called my name when I saw it and I was actually hesitant to buy it because the color of it is pretty loud and usually something I am rather afraid of wearing. Turned out that was the one thing I needed to "wake me up" and allow me to delve right into what really speaks to me in terms of my own style. The fun thing about that overcoat is that it could go with any of the aesthetics I like to create when I style outfits and often times even only looking at it, even if I don't wear it in the end, it sparks so much creativity and makes getting dressed very enjoyable and fun. So whenever I do not know what to wear, I look at it and can very quickly ease into my current needs and style an outfit that I am happy with.
Maybe for you it's not even a garment, just a quote, a statement, an image, a photograph or a scenery in nature. Allow yourself to get inspired by anything you look at or listen to. Maybe it's a song, the vibe the composition of it brings across. Maybe it's a specific type of food or a dish you really enjoy or a hairstyle you enjoy seeing on other people. Maybe it's a specific color - even if it's one you would never wear - maybe a specific person. It could literally be anything. Could even be your favorite scented candle or fragrance. Feel into things and moments, scents, sounds, compositions, colors. Anything can trigger and evoke a moment of realization. But don't try triggering it intentionally, that usually doesn't work - at least not for me.
I did try many techniques to figure out my true style and never came to a full on satisfying conclusion. That actually just created that wall I had hit previously. Letting go and not pressuring myself into just "doing the math and figure it out analytically", led to this effect.
But I have to add to this: What helped me a lot to allow myself to wear what I REALLY like and most importantly what feels like me, is the information being shared on the channel "Ella Ray Style". Her color analysis system is very different from SCA and explains why I feel very off in many of the colors from my SCP while the "key colors" of that palette, those that are usually not found in other SCPs, are perfect for me. So I don't think my result is wrong in terms of SCA, I just by now figured it's not the best system for me to use (SCA in general). I'll warn you though, if you decide to start looking into Ray Colors, you might feel very confused first and it might not feel very pleasant to try to understand that system for the first few months. It is very different from what we typically see in other systems. To me it makes perfect sense though. And I don't know how easy or hard it is to understand for anyone who hasn't had various types of color theory as a school subject for many years. Maybe you wanna start with her video about skintones and why we perceive what we perceive when we look at one's skin. That might make things easier to start with. I personally didn't get a consultation though, I don't have the spare money atm (we're doing many renovations on the house so that is the main priority now), but since I am starting to see what she's talking about more and more easily, I feel confident in choosing colors for myself by now. And I never felt super confident wearing the colors of my SCP, especially the pinks, reds, purples and blues. There's one green and a few oranges I REALLY enjoy from my SCP, but that's about it (those are the colors I talked about earlier, those that are usually not found in other SCPs, maybe in the True Spring palette, I'm not 100% sure though). Actually trying out most of the colors aside from these specific oranges and that green, made me wanna go back to wearing all black again. Wheras being inspired by Ray Colors made me really enjoy wearing color and I barely ever feel like wearing black anymore. But that's just my personal experience, it could be VERY different for you.

Very interesting topic, Vicki. I did the same thing without realising it about a month ago. I went and spent about AUD800 on clothes and shoes. My closet was full of no, nevers, so it was easy to get rid of them. Then, I kept anything in my autumn colours and looked at how they can work with my new clothes. I now have six outfits that work for me and are comfortable, two jackets and 4 pair of shoes. I do wear a uniform to work, so I don't need many clothes. But it all feels cohesive, simplified and comfortably my style.
Thank you for all these videos you have done since Dec 2022. They have helped me understand my closet and makeup. It is so empowering to know all these things.
I am an autumn who can dabble into soft summer selectively as I age and get greyer. I am a soft natural with a clean classic approach and a heavy gamine essence. Warm, matte makeup and natural fabrics, matte gold jewellery and natural material jewellery (wood, leather etc) bring out the best of me. Thank you, Vicki. I did not know this a year ago.

Don't be too hard on yourself , it took you only 1 year to master your colors so well and for now it seems you're comfortable with the " Quiet Luxury " style , it fits you so well .
Maybe what you find too soft is just a lack of strong pieces to mix in the game , the type of pieces that give us a sense of strength and confidence like statement shoes , or a tailored coat or heavy jacket to put over anything , etc ...
It takes time to build a wardrobe , starting with few items you love is a good start ❤

Thanks Eva. I think you're right, I need a couple of stronger pieces. I have a new blazer so need to start adding that to outfits.

Loved this! I agree it would feel weird to burn a candle on a sunny spring day 😅 But the method sounds like it makes sense! I'm in a middle of closet declutter going category by category and I swear it's the last time! I really want to be way more intentional in future with the clothes I buy. So in future I will try a method like this for decluttering

I need to watch your recent uploads but I've been so busy - I will watch them I promise, lol! But thank you. Going category by category is a good way as well, helps with focus instead of doing everything all at once.

Thank you for sharing this, Vicki! It was really helpful! I have one more category, which is items that need to be tailored. The key with that is getting them fixed sooner rather than later.

Thanks for watching! Yes I agree with that, sooner rather than later. I need to get a dress that tore at the bottom fixed.

For the dresses they might look cute with a shirt/blouse over the top tied at the waist- casual but chic!
