They are kinda in the process of re-branding from NTOTR to Neyla but they don’t necessarily want to abandon the history from NTOTR.
I asked them about the video in chat if they actually hired an actress and created a set or if they just used open source material in the video.
The answer was the latter, but that it was difficult for them to piece together different snippets to create something coherent.
I’m sure Ainara the bass player will be happy to hear that you appreciated the bass line as that was the intention to create the song around a prominent bass line and I think she nailed it.
They are young and talented and very endearing young ladies and I’ll be paying close attention to them as they navigate their path forwards in pursuing a possible music career.
Oh also, for someone who has no real formal vocal training and believes she’s not a vocalist…Raquel, drummer/vocals, absolutely nails the vocals on the EP!
