My favorite from the show and the game deadlocked. So many options. Why Lee sacrificed her over the bucket from a tactical standpoint was idiotic. One of the other nerd channels broke it down perfectly as how to preserve it and still save the Galactica. Anyways I get it from a story standpoint and it was a badass set piece for the show and I saw it when it first aired and it was epic. I can’t remember if Farscape was still running then but I know some of the Stargate shows were still around. Friday nights for TV sci-fi at that time couldn’t have been better. My bad I thought it was about the Mercury.
How can it be called Jupiter since none of the 12 Colonies followed the ancient religions of earth? How could any of them unless the 12 colonies are descended from space exploration from earth having founded their civilization.
Why do the Colonies have all these massive Battlestars with crews numbering in the thousands? Aside from the Cylons, that had only existed for about 50 years before The Fall, who were the humans fighting? There aren’t any aliens in this universe and they weren’t using these ships for exploration as it didn’t take long for Galactica to jump into unknown space, so what’s the point?
@@mb2000 the cylons hacked and controlled computer systems. The humans made the chain like a battleship before modern computers. To be more specific, the humans in BSG were spread out over 12 planets in 4 star systems. Just like how countries on Earth fight each other, colonies in BSG fought each other. There was a brief period of peace before the Cylons, however after the Cylon war and billions of people killed, the colonies decided to keep a large military to deter future invasions.

@@atlantianson515 There were a bunch of cast members from BSG in SG1 such as Boomer being trained to be the next gen Stargate operative, and Cavil as a doctor who has dementia.
The Cylons & colonials finding out that there's humans out there would have led to a identity crisis.
The colonials could have made for great colonialist on a planet with a star gate.
Mine would be Battlestar Agni.
Still not sure where people came up with "Jupiter class:" Original production documents list her as a "Columbia class" battlestar,
My battlestar would be "Warspite", a classic.
The 'Grand old lady of Jutland'
Battlestar hold my Beer
Even in on table top game this name have amazing perks, and the best of it they are random😂😂😂
I would call my ship the "Nautilus".
:D well... in star trek voyager, they have replicators... all you need is energy and everything can be fixed as new, every week ;)
Has anyone done a video of the Battlestar Viper vs Gunstar from The Last Starfighter?
Not sure! We'll be doing Viper videos soon :D
So Say We All.
I think I would name mine either 'Nemesis' or 'Euthanatos'.
Mine would be the xXx_a$$_DESTROYER_69_xXx
Alien would be so confused it would get the upper hand each time.
Battlestar Athenia Valerie class.
Mine would be the Battlestar 'MASADA'. History states the fortress held firm until the last, and then the warriors within, instead of allowing themselves to be taken/murdered/enslaved, choose to take their own lives depriving the Romans their ridiculously long and costly total victory. Dark I know but Bad*ss as Hell.
If all he engines are at the back, how does it slow down in space?
Carefully
Battlestar America
Cuz, Amer-ica Efff Yeah!
I would name mine the Battlestar Vulkan. Because I’m both a BSG and WH40K fan 😊
Finally, months have passed, but my comment asking for the gun brick has be answerd!!!
Mine was called AURORA. If you know, you know.
I'd call my Battlestar the "Rougarou".
Why did they use references to Sol system planets to name their classes?
All of this has happened before. All of this will happen again.
Sorry, I am spoiled by the original series BS Galactica design with Lorne Greene as supreme commander. This new "Jupiter" class design in the new series is, to me, to glitzy and overcomplicated. Anyways, thanks for this video presentation.
Fair enough! Glad you enjoyed the video. I imagine we will do a separate video covering the original Battlestar soon.
So say we all!
Its an interstellar aircraft carrierl. Lol
I would name my Battlestar Agamemnon
I would name my Battlestar, "Andromeda". After the Andromeda Ascendant.
I would call mine queen anne's revenge😊
F302 Please
How can it be called Jupiter since none of the 12 Colonies followed the ancient religions of earth? How could any of them unless the 12 colonies are descended from space exploration from earth having founded their civilization.
Battlestar Fury
My Battlestar was Hades because my air wing rained hell fire down on the Cylons😂
A worthy name!
MID,DRID BATTESTAR {named}
Ark Royal 🇬🇧
Why do the Colonies have all these massive Battlestars with crews numbering in the thousands? Aside from the Cylons, that had only existed for about 50 years before The Fall, who were the humans fighting? There aren’t any aliens in this universe and they weren’t using these ships for exploration as it didn’t take long for Galactica to jump into unknown space, so what’s the point?
They had a long history of fighting each other.
Because they were humans and we fought each other.
@@mb2000 the cylons hacked and controlled computer systems. The humans made the chain like a battleship before modern computers.
It was for security that humans did the legwork and that meant many thousands of people and crew needed.
Somehow I think you never paid any attention whatsoever to the original nor the remake .
So......hopefully you learned something by reading this.
Questions are important...
Have a great day wherever you are
Kind Regards
David
@davidrobertson5700 I asked why they had all these Battlestars when there didn’t seem to be anyone to fight before the Cylons.
Somehow I think you never paid any attention whatsoever to my original question. So… hopefully you learned something by reading this. Have a great day!

Gibt es dieses Video in Deutsch?
Sadly not at the moment, hopefully in future we can offer the video in different languages :)
