    I am a desert person! My favorite healthy swap for dessert is a piece of thin Dave’s killer bread, toasted, a tablespoon of peanut butter and some chocolate chips measured of course! Fold it over and it’s like a warm gooey cookie!
    I also like my white wine (also measured) and I cut it with plain seltzer 👍

    I quickly realized it's not the food that I'm craving, it's the flavor. I've found some good spice combos to put on healthier foods to get that flavor satisfaction without the extra calories (example: cayenne and white cheddar cheese powder on popcorn or cauliflower to replace hot chips). Great video! Thanks you! Seeing great progress with your recomp tips.

    Another great swap regarding ranch dressing. Pick up Bolthouse Ranch dressing. It's like 35 calories for 2 Tblsp. And it tastes great! I love this video. Great ideas! Many thanks.

      Me too!!! I keep watching videos like this to help me change my mindset and I’m adding back in carbs slowly. The fear is real and I notice how my body fills up with water and I feel puffy and immediately gain when I add them back so it triggers the fear more. It’s awful. But I’m trying to get over that part and hope the deficit will yield results. Slower but that’s fine.

    Those protein up wraps i used to spray them with olive oil cooking spray and add spices then cut the wrap into triangles and put them in the oven for 5-8 minutes (watch them) abs come out like crispy pita a chips and dip hummus in them!! So good. I actually forgot I ever did that I’m gonna have to do that again ha ha Ha

    I use Nut Pods coffee creamer. The absolute best I've tried so far. Then I add coconut sugar. It doesn't spike insulin and is delicious. Took me forever to find a good substitute.

    This was very helpful. I have a desk job and always trying to fulfill my protein needs for the day and always fall short even though I choose mostly healthy options. I'm going to try those RX protein bars. They sound like just what I need.

    HI Michelle, absolutely love your videos. Informative and educational. I’m down 60 lbs in a year on my journey and I’m feeling great. 40 more pounds to go. I’m challenged with balanced eating and sometimes don’t eat enough. What are your thoughts on Starbucks drinks. Is almond milk or oat milk better in your opinion.

      Hey Petal congrats on your weight loss so far!! As for Starbucks drinks, it depends what you are ordering, black coffee with a little oat milk or almond milk - it doesn't really matter. You want to be more concerned with the syrups and extra sugar.

    I’m a long-time soda addict (like drinking 24-packs by myself in the single digit ages addict) and the only way I ever get off it is with a very specific phase out: switch to exclusively sweetened sparkling water while my body gets over the caffeine withdrawals, then start phasing out those with unsweetened tea, unsweetened sparkling water, and regular water. Eventually I’m able to cut the sweetened sparkling water out and once that happens it’s really easy to make sparkling water a treat and make water and tea my main go-to. My only issue is if I even have just one soda, I’m back at square one (that’s why I know this phase out works lol I’ve had to do it more than once 😅).
    I also recommend if you go the Zevia route, try every flavor before you opt out completely. I’m not a stevia fan *at all* but some flavors hide the aftertaste better than others.

    I love chips!!! Love love love them. I used to binge on them but now I don’t after I allow any and all foods and don’t restrict them and when I have a craving for them I’lI eat them when I want them, which is still often but not a big bag of them for 3 days straight each night like I was binging on them. Chips are a food that I used to restrict a lot! Kale chips barf, that does not compare to chips 🤣

    I eat toddler snacks because they satisfy my sweet tooth for small carbs. For example, Gerber arrowroot cookies and various Earth's Best treats because they are all low in carbs and sugars! The beauty of having kids and them sharing their snacks. I was like, these are delicious 😆 🤣

      Love to see this! I’ve been getting a lot of judgement for eating baby food pouches as an on-the-go snack, but a complete fruit/veggie mix in a convenient little pouch for ~$1.00 just seems like a heck of a hack!

    The pasta if you had veggies and stuff wouldn’t it add nutrients and fibre? So use the white pasta with adding veggies chicken beef or whatever. I can’t eat that red lentil pasta I do not like the taste of it at all. Same with the chickpea pasta barf

    What about Wholewheat pasta I've swapped white pasta out for that and white bread to wholemeal bread.. also for fizzy drinks I use fizzy water and add no added sugar squash to it and one that has 0 sugar added

    I'm not a huge creamy salad dressing eater. More of a vinegarette gal...I combined coconut oil, Bragg's Organic ACV,
    and Badia Cajun Seasoning in a cruet and put it on my salad. Very clean dressing and fairly low sodium and you get your daily acv to help with digestion if acid doesn't bother ya.
