Hello mereiriz! Do you use the 11 or 12.9 inch iPad Pro for daily use? I start my first semester at MEDAT Vienna next year and I'll use an iPad Pro as my main device for note taking etc., but I havn't decided yet whether I should use the 11 or the 12.9 inch iPad Pro. Which model would you personally recommend? Thanks for your advice in advance! Greetings from Austria
I identify so much with you. I didn’t like typing my notes because I felt restricted, it didn’t feel like I was recalling the information. At the same time, I didn’t like writing my notes in the fear of disorganization and not being able to go back and add moree notes. I’m using both apps, notability and goodnotes the same way that you are and it’s a game changer!!!
I had saved up for a Macbook for school, but i took a risk and early adopted the Ipad Pro instead, its been 1 year and i wouldnt change a thing. With IpadOS i can basically do anything my uni asks of me and then some! Great video!
I'm so jealous, not because you have the ipad pro, but because you have such a nice hand writing. I want a nice hand writing tooooo AHHHHH can you make a video on improving your hand writing, pleeeeease!
I’m preparing for my pg and it’s the best way to organise your notes, don’t have to keep separate notebooks for all 19 subjects. You can write your college notes in a notebook and convert them into PDF and store them on the iPad for self study at home or hostel, you won’t be losing your notes that way
@@doctord8388 Ive taken all my DAMS notes on the iPad. Including the material they provide sometimes before classes. Easier to annotate them and forget the issue of losing them later. Also very easy to drag and drop images from the DAMS ebooks app instead of straining to take pictures in the class. And absolutely no issues of pages running out in the class or forgetting a colour pen or something.
This is just beautiful. I can see the passion in your eyes when talking about how iPad changed your learning. Idk you but I’m so happy for you! Thanks for inspiring University students like us ☺️❤️🙌🏼✨ subbed!
Hi Suresh, thanks. I'm a mathematics teacher. Up until last year, before the pandemic strikes, I had no idea how ipad can really revolutionalise maths teaching. When schools are closed and teachers had to turn to online teaching using platforms like meet and zoom, I was really awestrucked. You know teaching mathematics using slides on screen is the last thing any maths teacher will prefer. Then you came along and saved me and my students. You helped me to really turn my iPad air into an incredible teaching tool and my students love it.. God bless you man.
This reminded me of an Ali Abdaal video for a few reasons: Time Stamps Diagrams on screen Informative However he has 200k subs and you have less than a thousand! Keep this up this is a great video. I am honestly amazed that you have 970 only
I see what u mean. But this guy comes across as genuine. His personal experience is what he is telling us about. Not parroting what's commonly said by others. Plus..many other youtubers timestamp their vids. Beauty youtubers or lifestyle youtubers. So it's not something that Ali invented. P.S. I love Ali too. I'm a subscriber to his channel.
Oh man, right when i was thinking i had made up my mind about buying the macbook pro. Your video came out of nowhere and it just changed everything i had in mind. Not only do you talk about yourself, but it just feels like you're talking about something you actually really experienced and went through. And god you're so good at selling the ipad pro more than APPLE! Congrats man, you changed my mind, but you're also good at providing good content. Thumbs up !
I have an IPad Pro that I bought to mainly take notes for college and have been watching tons of videos to improve the way I take notes but I have to say I found THE video I was looking for! I’ve never felt inspired to really submerge myself into this good of note taking, thank you for this! Anyone contemplating buying an iPad, do it!! it isn’t cheap but I’ve never had a piece of technology this useful!
This is helping me out so much! I already have an IPad Pro and I never used it for that. When the new school year starts I’ll be in the year that’s the most crucial for my education. I’m going in enriched as well so it’s going to be even more pressure. I never took notes in class because I have a really good memory (thank you ten years of theatre). I set myself a goal to take notes and be organized this year. I’ve also dedicated myself to learning about things I’ll do in class in advance so it’s not as hard and I’ll always be a step ahead. This is a big motivator for me and I’d like to thank you for it!

This video is truly incredible. I've been watching iPad Pro videos since it was released and this is easily the best one. I've been saving for one since then as well, all the while trying to convince myself that the iPad Pro will positively impact the way I learn in university. In this video you've put into genuinely riveting words the most convincing reasons that it can and will help. You're an excellent speaker and editor. Please, please, please continue to make videos!
This video is AMAZING! I was already thinking about getting one because of all the drawings and notes you can do on it but you showed it on a whole different Level, better than Apple did. This is fascinating! Not only the breathtaking way of how you take notes but the editing skills are... WOW. This is the first video of you that I watched and I legit thought you had like 100s of thousands followers. I subscribed right away and I'm telling you, you will get somewhere! Samuel again terrific...can you share any info with me on the soecs of the I pad pro you feel is most beneficial, size wise, memory, etc. I am 70 but still teach myself things like photography and video processing, for fun, and often watch or listen to others who are teachers, creators, or experts. In the same way you learned, I too learn. In college I can only imagine how valuable this Great Tool, the I pad Pro would have been as I majored in Astronomy, and Geology and Meteorolgy and Oceanography. So , so very Visual.. my old notes look like yours as I always felt pictures were worth a 1000 words and COLOR brings real importance to any information! I am thinking of purchasing an I Pad pro now and begin some fun of learning topics I still want to learn! I appreciate insight you can give me prior to my making a purchase! Thanks so much!
Ashton Gilbert Hi Ashton, I ordered the 2020 12.9 in 256gb, with pencil & adapter usb cable. I also ordered Paperlike gen 2 for the screen. I got the smart folio from Apple as I don’t need keyboard, I use my I Mac for that. Everything has arrived but the I pad. Looking forward to getting it soon. If I need the keyboard later, I’ll buy the new one coming out in May Thanks for responding to me. As a former teacher, I think you will love it and find it most helpful to as you take many courses in HS and beyond. Wish this existed when I was a student and as a teacher, Wow what a great tool!

One of the very best videos I have watched on TH-cam for a long long time. Period. 1. Great content selection, fluent delivery, very good speed and organization. Clear, jargon free, understandable English. 2. Beautiful camera angles, perfect lighting, fitting background music selection. 3. Good honest review without repetition and 'subscribe me' 'comment on me' nonsense. 4. To the point, practical demonstration of what has been used, how it has been used, what are the results and how it compares with the other ways of doing the same thing I was waiting for you to say 'subscribe' at the end and I would have run. You didn't, and so I am now a subscriber of your channel. You have got some talent, don't let it go to waste. I look forward to viewing further quality content from you soon.
It's incredible how u just listed all my thoughts and stuggles about note taking with handwriting and typing on a laptop and why I really badly wanted to have a IPad. Like with a 1000% accuracy
that is why i been using my ipad pro for studies and note taking for over 2 years now. while of course there are some kind of people that wont change the legit feeling pencil \ pen on paper .. i does have it pros and cons and its an okay+ writing experience. there things that you can do digitally which you can not do on real paper. it is new its different and it is the future. but paper and writing tools are always here to stay.
This is awesome!! I’m taking anatomy soon and it’s getting me alittle stressed because of the intensity of the class but your video was amazing to watch! Your notes are so fun and so full of important information you should definitely make another video showing how you actually create your notes this was super helpful
I’m not sure how people have so much time and patience to make such beautiful notes but dam!!! Badass fucken notes it’s really satisfying to watch these videos
Not only the note taking but also you got the very talent of drawing too. I had to stop the video in the middle to appreciate your drawings. Great note taking skills bro ! 👍🏽 (Edit : Also do a comparison video between iPads as budget constraints don't allow each of us to have a device like iPad pro, do consider if time allows you to do so.)
I have a Lenovo Yoga (a tablet-laptop) which I had been using consistently to take notes on OneNote for bio and chem for my first year. Before the last semester began the pen suddenly failed and I had to use one of those pen-stylus things and my motivation for taking notes just exponentially decreased (to barely any notes taking). I'm hoping to get an iPad before my senior year starts (assuming this laptop lasts that long) so ill be used to Apple iOS by then (im a 100% android- samsung person, but my last android tablet died after 2 years, so no thanks). I aim to have your amount of dedication to my notes one day, prolly be useful for med school lol Question: How do you organize your time to be able to take such neat and concise notes? My tests are generally every 2-3 weeks and I've just been relying on the textbook and practice problems than any notes from reading or lecture so I dont have that many notes for summarization.
I am binge watching (listening) to your videos as I am studying and taking notes. Your voice is so soothing, it’s like listening to these calming videos and commercials. And a plus is definitely the motivational speech
I had a feeling that this guy’s goal isn’t about the grade but more:) just maybe... the way that he study shows that he wants to fully understand the subject
in my case yes, appealing notes make me want to study and i’m a huge procrastinator. I hate it but sometimes i just can’t get myself to study unless i’m interested, and it’s hard for me to be interested in a lesson. if my notes were appealing then that will help cover up the fact that i hate a specific lesson.
Your videos are incredible. Aside from the amazing visuals and perfect organization, you have a great voice. I think you could talk about anything and it would be inspiring and even a little mesmerizing lol. Keep up the good work.
Ok. That's it. I am placing my goddamn order now. I have been watching videos about the iPad Pro in order to convince myself to get one and for some reason or the other, I have always found a reason not to. You were the last straw. Wonderful video mate! I am really liking the vibes. Subscribed!
Hi Samuel, I study project management and I use notes on paper which I loose and I don’t fancy typing notes. I am blown away by the quality of notes from your iPad. Well done on your video, I have just subscribed and I look forward learning more from you.
When I started taking biology classes again last year, I started taking notes on paper. I loved it, but I always went a bit crazy because I couldn't keep up with the teacher. Then, today in politics and society class, I started taking notes on my school-provided Chromebook, which was pretty nice, especially with the Google drawings app, but it was really difficult to actually use it like paper (Difficult to switch to a different color / pen / brush, no real drawing stylus, and no easy move option.). Then I thought: "I'm not a fan of Apple, buuuuuut....... I think they've got the thing I need.". And I was darn right!

I understand what you mean. I had terrible handwriting on it when I started using it. I think I will eventually make one on that.
@@SamuelSuresh
Your handwriting on real paper was already mind blowing
Samuel Suresh I’m waiting for the video
@@SamuelSuresh Please do!!!!!!
i am a medical student from India and i use the 6th gen iPad and the 1st gen apple pencil for my notes! really changed the way i study!!
They don't allow e devices in my college :(
I’m preparing for my pg and it’s the best way to organise your notes, don’t have to keep separate notebooks for all 19 subjects.
@@adityaganesh8287 which iPad you use?
@@NayabShafaque Normal Ipad 6th gen with Apple Pencil 1. Sufficient for now. Planning to upgrade to pro once I get through the exams. :)
Saw this in my recommended a few days ago, bought my first iPad today. You've motivated me to get back to studying! Cheers!
You still studying????? After 9 months
This reminded me of an Ali Abdaal video for a few reasons:
Time Stamps
Diagrams on screen
Informative
However he has 200k subs and you have less than a thousand!
Same. And also the video editing style as well as the scene of samuel himself
Bruh are you kidding me. Even the whole ice and fire theme with the hue lamps, the music and the edit roll.
Lol hes over 10k nowqnd your comment is from a week...that escalated quickly
Wow he really has grown quick if you actually posted one month ago. 20k sub in one month. Proves the quality
By far the best video on the iPad Pro!
This is an amazing video ... and I’m staggered that you only have a handful of subscribers. Keep doing what your doing, and you will achieve great things. Congratulations on a brilliant effort.
Peter Cattell Absolutely. Such amazing quality content - it’s only a matter of time before this channel is huge.
4:41 there’s actually a screen protector that provides the friction and makes the Apple Pen feel like you are writing on paper.
yup its called paperlike
Paper like sucks, it ruins the display quality and gets scratches easily. Just get a normal protector and get used to writing on a smooth surface
@@soha786sajju there’s matte protectors that work better and cost significantly less than paperlike, they do ruin the screen quality though and you will go through Apple Pencil tips slightly faster
@@progenitor_amborella so what to use to protect the screen? Lol
Most good TH-camrs use paperlike and you are saying it hurts the pencil so what should we do pls enlightnt mr
@@LIGHTISBURNING the pencil gets ruined anyway, but I'm pretty sure a matte one makes it go away faster. apple sells pencil tips tho, because ur apple pencil will get dull eventually
Your video should be put on the Apple webpage for the iPad ad. So informative and creative. Enjoy it!
I love how professional you express yourself, subscribed.
When I started to taking notes at university, I tried to use One Note and It was boring (I'm studying Accounting) so I lost the hope and returned to handwriting. Now, I'm going to get an iPad Pro and use this method in Nutrition next year. Thank you for give me the hope of learning instead of memorizing!
Okay, your notes are fricken beautiful. Thank you sooo much for sharing. This has been the most helpful iPad note-taking video I’ve seen so far, and, trust me, I’ve been looking. Lol. Great job, keep it up!
100% agree with this. Best video
agree with you! also the Ipad Pro is totally worth all my money. Im glad i bought it instead of the Macbook Pro for college
I was thinking exactly the same. I have watched a lot of IPad Pro videos but this one is the best in every way.
Sorry for some grammar mistakes I'm from Germany and English is not my native language.
Keep going you're Amazing!!

Hi Ashton, I ordered the 2020 12.9 in 256gb, with pencil & adapter usb cable. I also ordered Paperlike gen 2 for the screen. I got the smart folio from Apple as I don’t need keyboard, I use my I Mac for that.
Everything has arrived but the I pad. Looking forward to getting it soon. If I need the keyboard later, I’ll buy the new one coming out in May
Thanks for responding to me. As a former teacher, I think you will love it and find it most helpful to as you take many courses in HS and beyond. Wish this existed when I was a student and as a teacher, Wow what a great tool!
Your voice is so calm and pleasant. You seem very passionate and intelligent. Thank you!
I had absolutely no need to buy an ipad pro, but now I need one right away... wow

Why do I keep watching this video over and over again?
Amazing
Honestly , I love the way you explained you're experience. it sound like you genuinely appreciate what you found. 🙂
So this video is two years old and it’s only now in seeing it. Please excuse me. I’m a secondary school teacher and I’m just BLOWN AWAY by how this guy expresses himself. He made me so hyped about my iPad Pro 2021 arriving…just to get the Goodnotes app. He has shown how we can actually learn in our own way just by sharing with us how he learns. God bless him.
4. To the point, practical demonstration of what has been used, how it has been used, what are the results and how it compares with the other ways of doing the same thing
I was waiting for you to say 'subscribe' at the end and I would have run. You didn't, and so I am now a subscriber of your channel.
You have got some talent, don't let it go to waste. I look forward to viewing further quality content from you soon.
Felt like i was watching a keynote address on the iPad pro, loved it! My iPad pro is by my side most of the day at college and work, love it!
Did you buy a keyboard?
He seems like a really nice guy lol
DAMN! YOU PUT SO MUCH EFFORT INTO MAKING THIS AND IT TURNED OUT SO GOOD!! I BET YOU'LL BE UP THERE AMONG BIGGIES ON TH-cam SOON!! KEEP DOING THESE
It's incredible how u just listed all my thoughts and stuggles about note taking with handwriting and typing on a laptop and why I really badly wanted to have a IPad. Like with a 1000% accuracy
that is why i been using my ipad pro for studies and note taking for over 2 years now. while of course there are some kind of people that wont change the legit feeling pencil \ pen on paper .. i does have it pros and cons and its an okay+ writing experience. there things that you can do digitally which you can not do on real paper. it is new its different and it is the future. but paper and writing tools are always here to stay.
some of those pictures would take an entire class period to draw.
he would draw them outside of class to reteach and study im guessing because that's intricate work.
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 right..
@Anshika Nangia There is academic value to recreating the diagrams yourself though. You have better memory retention and recall.

Beautiful notes. 👍🏻
This is a super level of taking notes.. I like how you find a way of bringing everything together and make it so organized. Thank you.
This guy should get an Oscar Award for Best Picture of 2019
I have a Lenovo Yoga (a tablet-laptop) which I had been using consistently to take notes on OneNote for bio and chem for my first year.
I aim to have your amount of dedication to my notes one day, prolly be useful for med school lol
Question: How do you organize your time to be able to take such neat and concise notes? My tests are generally every 2-3 weeks and I've just been relying on the textbook and practice problems than any notes from reading or lecture so I dont have that many notes for summarization.
Your videos are incredible! My iPad Pro's also arriving soon and I can't wait to make notes as beautiful as yours!! ❤️
I am binge watching (listening) to your videos as I am studying and taking notes. Your voice is so soothing, it’s like listening to these calming videos and commercials. And a plus is definitely the motivational speech

The real question is: did your grades go up?
Radhouen Rahmouni ... I don’t know about his but mine sure did when I started using my ipad las semester
I had a feeling that this guy’s goal isn’t about the grade but more:) just maybe... the way that he study shows that he wants to fully understand the subject
even if you buy an ipad or not it wont make your grades go up by itself. you're the one who's going to make the effort to get high grades.
in my case yes, appealing notes make me want to study and i’m a huge procrastinator. I hate it but sometimes i just can’t get myself to study unless i’m interested, and it’s hard for me to be interested in a lesson. if my notes were appealing then that will help cover up the fact that i hate a specific lesson.

I’m actually obsessed with this video it’s so good
The important things here are the APPS he is using, it make up my mind again what my iPad can do. Thanks for your effort
Honestly Apple need to sponsor you! You created such an emotional response to the iPad I’m now going to get one! Hahaha
