Hi! My parents are living with me in the USA in the same household and I am the only sponsor for both of them, and have filed separate Form-130 for each of them. Do I have to include both of them in the household? Also I am filing a separate Form 1-864 for each as well so in each they both should be part of the total Household rite? So should I add each of them in the family member section in Part 3? Also which option to select in Part 3? will it be 1 or. 2 or 3? Will appreciate your input. Thanks

If my spouse (US Citizen) doesn't have any income at all, should my spouse still choose 'I am the petitioner', and have my spouse's household members in part 5 & 6 as co-sponsor? Or should my spouse NOT fill this form, and have my spouse's household member fill as joint sponsor?

Thanks for your detailed videos. I have a question so I am filing for my Dad i am currently in divorce proceedings. There’s a section where it say if currently married put 1 I left it blank. A letter came back saying they could not determine my household head. What should I put in this case and do I need to write a letter explaining my divorce process and how he’s not longer part of my household?

My daughter is my main sponsor and started working in the US this year, so she does not have her Federal Tax from last year and I have another person as a Joint-Sponsor. Since my daughter is working as an independent contractor (self-employed) she does not get pay stubs. What to do in this case, I mean, what kind of financial evidence she can provide? She got a letter from the company she provides her service stating how much she makes.

Quick question. I received an email a few days ago regarding the annual salary needed to sponsor a family member to whom I submitted I-130 for, and they told me that I am not qualified because my annual salary is not enough to sponsor my father or mother. I found that there was a second way to make up the difference if the annual salary required for qualification was not available, and I found that I could use property and assets to sponsor using I-864? Is that correct?
Can you tell me what annual income I must make to sponsor 4 people, for the state of California?
Do you know if the annual income can be offset by using property and assets and if I-864 was the right form to use for that purpose?
I read online:
The most common minimum annual income required to sponsor a spouse or family member for a green card is $22,887. This assumes that the sponsor - the U.S. Citizen or current green card holder - is not in active military duty and is sponsoring only one relative.

Could you kindly clarify the meaning of "joint sponsor". I'm still not clear. Is it a joint sponsor 1 of 2 sponsors equally sharing financial responsibility for the intending immigrant? If the petitioner fills a I-864 form and another relative fills a separate I-864 form does petitioner become the first joint sponsor and the second relative become the second joint sponsor?
Hi! I love your videos! I have a quick question! I have been hearing that it is better to put the mailing address of the US spouse instead of the immigrant spouse's mailing address in Part 1 question 2a - 2i. Is this accurate? If so, what is the benefit or reason for this?
Also - for Part 6 question 8 - 19 - if there are no other household members included in this, can 21 and 22 remained unchecked? You mentioned that it's often missed.

Hi @Kseniya, Im my country’s passport they have names in two different pages: native and english versions, in english side their system add letter k before letter x if your name has it, for example in native “Zahroxon” , in english side “Zahrokxon” , which one should be entered in i-864? One: If I am the sponser and I make no money or have a job do I check the unemployment box for for part 6 number 6? And would my current annual income be $0?
Second question:
For one of the years (2022) I didn't file taxes because I was a student and was below the threshold for filing taxes. So for part 6 24b do I put $0 or leave the box blank next to the year?

I filed a petition for my mom, she has 2 kids under the age of 18; would i have to file a separate petition for the 2 dependents or would she have to do that overseas?
Hopefully I phrased that right, i dont know entirely how the process works.
They will not be able to immigrate as her dependents. She will have to petition them once she becomes a green card holder. Preferably as soon as she becomes a permanent resident so they don’t age out

Might be it is late answer but for fueature users, the answer is you should include your most recent 3(three) years income.

How do I count him? I count him as a household member (number 3) and also as a person that I sponsored and are a lawful resident now (part 6)?

One question regarding question 21 and 22. If I am using the household income (say my and my spouse's income) to support an immigrant who is not my spouse (such as a parent or sibling). Then I am required to submit 864 and my spouse will fill 864A. In that event, I will need to check 21 and leave 22 blank. Am I correct?

Part5, No.7 what number should I fill for my current individual annual income if I unemployed since October 2022. Is it should be the same amount of adjust gross income from 1040 form of 2021 or not?
And Part 6, No.20 should be the same number of Part5 no.7 right, if the annual household income is only from me?

2. Total income will be my petitioner spouse, my father in law, other in law and lastly me? Do i need to be part of the list but I live in a different country - do i need to show my tax from where I came from?
3. Also if we are to add a joint sponsor (my FIL) who also lives with my husband, is he gonna fill up i864 or i864A?
4. And since my FIL and MiL files joint taxes, my MIL will be listed also as a household member right so she will need to fill up i864a?
