Cheers for the vid man. Ive got an elite 2, i play COD about 3-4 hours a day n have taken really good care of it yet its starting to break already. Thumbsticks are starting to tighten up, controllers randomly turns on and off and it just does not feel like the controller i bought. Im going to give the PowerA Fusion a go, looks like itll fit better in my hands 👍

Personally, as someone who only used normal controllers up until about 6 months ago and only plays console, I would say that the elite 2 is the best. It has the best feel in weight, it’s grip feels not great at first, but after hours of play, it feels great, and the battery life is amazing. I’ve played for 2-3 day (of about 5-6 hours) without having to charge it and when I do need to charge it, I just put in in the case at night and it’s fully charged by morning. That being said, I had reacently had a problem with this controller that I’ve never had before in which the controllers started bugging out and there was a buzzing inside. Very disappointed by that, I would still say that IF YOU WILLL USE THE CUSTOMIZATION FEATURES it’s worth the price range. If you just want a goo controller that feels good, I’d still recommend he base controllers.

  • @mjmason75

Elite controllers get stick drift just as fast as a regular xbox controller (I've had 2 Elites and about 6 regular xbox wireless controllers). They literally have the same exact internal parts for the thumb-sticks, so no surprise the Elite controllers get stick drift just as easily. The Razer Wolverine (I had the Ultimate version) lasted about twice as long for me. Both the Elite and Wolverine controllers felt great to me. I just ordered the PowerA Fusion Pro, so I can't give any feedback about it yet, but it does have an anti-stick drift function since you can re calibrate the sticks if they start to drift.

  • @TripleeVFX
    @TripleeVFX 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

The Razer Wolverine Te is the best controller hands down. Have had mine for almost 3 years and have had no issues. Except for stick drift, which can be easily fixed by cleaning the sensors in the joystick module.

I think objectively, the $80 dollar price point, giving you all the practical features the Wolverine and Elite 2 have and luxuries they have for so much cheaper, it's the clear winner for me. Good weight, customizable thumbsticks, carrying case, 4 easily programmable paddles that feel very nice, it's an easy win. Thing is durable too. Just my thoughts.

My power A fusion pro was bought in October of 2020 going into 2022 the controller has done very well I got mine for 70 bucks In 2020 and so far there is only minor damage. The top right (holding the controller regularly) paddle is super sensitive and is no longer a "button" to push and the left trigger has a squeaky spring. All of the trigger stoppers work well and there is no stick drift. So for 70-80 bucks its a steal. The input delay is the same as a standard xbox control so other than it being wired the controller is amazing.

Good review but you missed sooo many things about the elite controller. The ease of swapping joysticks, you can adjust the tension of the joysticks, the extra joysticks for your preferred height, the different d-pad, the warranty and I can keep going. Elite hands down the best to get if you’re a gamer.

Glad I found your videos man. You do a great job of breaking down the things I care about. I am also a converted Xbox-PC player but some games like Halo and Cod I feel much more comfortable playing the way I always have. I used to have the elite controller but the thumbstick drift annoyed me among other things. I was going to buy an Elite 2 and hope the quality issues were fixed but the prices are inflated stupid high. So last night I went and bought the Fusion, cant wait to try it out next week. I would have used your affiliate link but I wanted a white one and they were sold out so I resorted to ebay, sorry! The least I can do is subscribe. Looking forward to more. Thanks a lot!

I recently wanted to get a fancy controller for my PC. Googled few articles, watched few youtube videos...Consensus was: Elite 2 is the best thing since invention of sliced bread.
So I decided to spend that much money on the controller.
Came back home from the shop, unpacked it, took it in my hands... WOW this thing feels amazing! Triggers feel great! Sticks you can adjust resistance! WOW amaaaaaaaazing.
    Started playing games.....
"A" button is not registering presses or sometimes registers 2 at a price of single press. Initially I thought it was something wrong with me...But no...did some testing in controller app and it was clear as day that controller is messed up.
Went back to the shop, asked for replacement. Guys in the shop did not even ask any questions (they knew). Brought back home the replacement....
    Same issue.
Played on this controller for few days hoping it will go away.
    It did not.
Went back to the shop, they asked me what I would like to do. I said that I am tempted to see if 3 times makes a charm...but the guy said they do not have any more of them in stock and I tried last 2 they had. That they do not stock them anymore after a lot of people complaining and returning them.
So I got PowerA Fusion 2.
    Half the cost.
Buttons feel waaay better - each press is crisp and sharp, super tactile comparing to very lackluster Elite 2.
Triggers feel worse but totally fine. They are just much lighter / have less resistance
Paddles....I am not too impressed with placement comparing to Elite. They stick out further from controller body making it easier to press by mistake. And they are a bit ....Wobbly.
    All in all...
Elite 2 is a freaking joke considering price they are asking for it.
    Quality control is non-existent.
Considering how many people have issues with them, it is unforgivable that Microsoft did not recall them and dealt with the issue.

Only problem with your thumb stick comment is that the Elite 2 comes with a tension tool so you can make them as smooth as you want. I had the Elite 1 and it’s much smoother but non adjustable. The Elite 2 did feel more resistant but was able to change it right away. Other then that good review never seen these other ones. Looked into SCUF as well before going for the Elite again. MS has warranties so even if there is stick drift they will replace it. Scuf didn’t have that option unfortunately so if there are problems you have to buy a new one.

But I had to open it up to lubricate the right bumper after ~5 months of use. The short trigger stops on the Fusion Pro don’t work right in Destiny 2 on Xbox. My A button doesn't register standard presses, presses that would otherwise register on the regular version of the controller. Elite V2 also disconnects constantly on Destiny 2, and it takes about 20 mins of disconnects for it to start to stay connected; emphasis on "start to." I'm not sure what's more disconcerting, the hard to register A button, the Destiny 2 disconnection issues, or that I bought the controller online thru antonline.
If I didn't have to ship the controller, i'd already returned it. Only reason I'm holding on to it right now is to try to break in the A button with Sonic Mania. If I don't get the A button to work properly in the next 5 days or so, I'm shipping it back.
