Ed Bolian I was going to say, it would be hard to argue with a Porsche Turbo or Porsche GT”X”. Can blow away many more expensive cars on the street and track.
Evora 400/GT. I have an Evora 400 with the Komo-Tec 460 (and a bunch of other stuff) and its an absolute blast to drive. Its the slowest car I own but by far the most fun to drive.
Koji Takata In Toronto there’s one for sale for 118k Cad which is about 84k usd and there’s plenty around 130k which is still under 100 grand in the states.
It would be cool to hear everyone's perfect $100k, 3 car garage. It's interesting because each car can be attainable but you have to take everything into account. Wanna blow $90k on a Viper TA? Sure! But now you only have 10 left over for everything else we require a car to do. Your wife's gonna get a Kia Rio and you better enjoy taking a Datson truck to work on snowy days.
What's wrong with a Datson truck? My dad has one that's now over 300k miles and it has never needed a single engine repair, asides from oil and a minor ac tuning. Those things are nearly indestructible and are incredibly reliable
I have to agree with the M5. It has 4 seats, massage seats, screens in the back, and self driving. But funny thing is, with all that its faster then most, if not the fastest of the cars mentioned here if you get the competition package. Only thing is you need to buy a used one. Because new ones with all options are 200k.
You might be right... But fuck Mercedes... Such a garbage brand. Talk about unreasonably expensive repair bills, with too many failure points... Also, they're practically the definition of generic, at least as far as looks are concerned. Only exception in my book, the G-wagon, or their station wagon... Those look good, and at least the station wagon is "reasonably" reliable...
Dan Hall never said it was for performance, my dad used to own a black 930. Also I’m sixteen and I would take a 930 over any hatchback and I know most of my friends would agree even though they don’t have the connection to it that I have from my father.
Saw my choice this morning: LC 500 V8 Luxury Coupe. Easily the best looking yet unique car on the road. All with a beautiful interior and an excellent V8.
of course tons of porsche, audi, and lambo but john fiscarra and the bmw 2002 turbo is one of two the other would be chris warren's choice of the jaguar E-type
For me at this price point, the first thing that comes to mind - thinking strictly sports car - would be the 430 Ferrari. Second would be a Porsche GT4 (2016 with some money to spare for mods). And in third the MP4-12C (with some money to spare for repairs - although probably not enough).... and now for the video.
An Audi R8 is the benchmark for affordable, reliable, comfortable, daily usable, powerful, and fast, supercar. This comes from a personal experience of owning a Type 42 facelift S-Tronic V8. Looking forward to find a perfect example for my exact car but with that Orchestral V10.
All the C7 ZR1s are going to be around $200-$250k or more. You MAY be able to get JUST below $200k but nowhere close to under $100k. They were NEVER less than $100k. Now, a C7 Z06 can be found for under $100k all day long! Andddd good luck finding a 2013 or newer Viper for less than $100k. You can get close and MAYBE lucky. But that’s a tough one to ever find.
I look forward to this type of vlog every week. 100k for a car, the sky is the limit. Man o man! What would I get? It would start with an F and end with an I.

RWD 2017 to 2019 Porsche 911 GTS with low miles, put a dealer installed tune on it, highflow cats, upgrade blow off valves and get close to 600hp. You get modern conveniences and still have a factory warranty, very doable for 100K
It would be cool to see if you could get all of the best 1990s sports cars together for under $100k. That would be the Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4, the Dodge Stealth R/T twin Turbo, the Toyota Supra Turbo, the Acura NSX, the Mazda RX-7, and the Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo.
Gameplan: buy 2 base model C8 corvettes. $125k after taxes and what not. Sell one. 80k min, given demand. Keep the other for 45k out of pocket. When the c8 Z06 comes out, sell the 2nd c8 for the original 60k+/- depending on miles and current prices. Demand still high enough, plus gm will bump prices to actually start making profit, thats an achievable asking price. Reinvest the now 140k into the Z06. Keep it for a year, then sell for what you bought it for.
Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, it's one of the most elegant modern Ferrari's. V12, 4 seater, more room than the Vanquish & 911, more luxurious and more refined than the F430 & Gallardo. The 612 is a perfect blend of sport and luxury. The average value is around $90k so you'll have some money left over for an exhaust and ECU upgrade. 👌
Man this is a tough pricepoint! Real awkward range when you can buy nearly anything with a down payment, buy something outright with the cash, or build/restore your own. I think I'd have to go with a 2012 Zr1. Can get a basically new one for around 60k. Looks great, sounds great, drives great, cheap parts, endless aftermarket, cheap insurance, and should be near the bottom of the depreciation range with that mileage.
New - BMW M5. Massage sears and 600HP. LA traffic and it handles well enough to tear up the canyons. Or a 2019 sub 5K miles McLaren 570S. Last I checked 2 months ago, they were hovering around $120K in LA. Covid discount. $100k. Or there regardless given their depreciation curve.
Just did this - new i bought a bmw z4 m40i - its near perfect for everything but family commuting and comes with a warranty. Used - Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabrio.
There's my list: Chevy Corvette C8 Cadillac CTS-V Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Mercedes Benz AMG C63 S Coupe Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Dodge Charger Hellcat First-Gen Audi R8

Honestly, I'm shocked no one picked a good Dodge Charger Hellcat, or a 1970 Charger that can very from 40k-100k. And the reason I'd go with the new Hellcat is because it's an American V8 with 707bhp, 4 doors so I can use Uber just to mess with some people if they ask, and it's a family car when needed. Another great option is the 2010-2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor with the 6.2L V8, which is built for going off the road, is smooth on road, and can have 2 doors with suicide doors, or 4 doors, and it has over 400hp for a truck.
Ferrari 550 Maranello is a tempting option Jaguar F-Type SVR is in that price bracket Lastly R34 GTR low mileage in Midnight Purple III would come in just shy of 100k.
Top 3 under 100k for me would be #1 Nissan GTR R35 (09-14), #2 Porsche 718 GT4 #3 BMW M5 competition My current drive that I absolutely love is 2021 AMG CLA 45 crazy interior, good power, and amazing technology. Best interior and technology on the market imo.
Best family car (loosely defined) for $40k. If anyone says an SUV or a van, they need to be unfollowed and disowned immediately. Can’t be a 2+2. needs to actually seat 4 or more.
I told everyone they could pick more than one on this one if they wanted to avoid an overwhelming number of R8s and GT3s!

Gt4!!!!

This is an amazing idea
I agree this would be awesome, good idea man!

I'm surprised how he didn't mention how he has two Phantoms he bought each for less than that and both are running well.

Rabbits answer sounds like an old TV on way too high volume😂 my pick would be a new RS6 once they depreciate 10k (hopefully they do!)
They will depreciate 25k the second they leave the dealership

Chevy Corvette C8 Convertible with 3LT, Z51, the front lift, and the dynamic Suspension.
