The defendants voice is how I feel in those bad dreams that I am trying to shout and can’t.
😱 Omg, I thought that only happened to me!!! All these years, and now I know I’m not alone!!! 😊❤
Hi. That happened to me in real life when I was about 14 and someone was breaking into the house through my bedroom window. I saw the shadow of a man wearing a hat taking the screen out of the window. I tried shouting for my Mom, but it was really just raspy air. Apparently my little sister woke up and screamed and the man ran away. My step dad ran out the front door to try to find him, but he was never found.
It happened to me again in 2013 during a fire. The stress and anxiety just shut down my voicebox. When Emergency Services came they kept asking if I needed assistance and I kept saying no, that I just had no voice.
I’m weird I guess.
She smokes a lot. Yellow teeth at her age
....... eerily relatable. LOL
I have this same dream and my throat always aches/is dry the day after 🤨
Once I hear "Basically," I know they're gonna get scolded 😂
I would get so nervous that I would accidentally say “basically” if I was on her show and get scolded 😂😂😂
I was talking to the screen like "U CAN'T SAY BASICALLY IN JJ'S COURT" 😂😂😂
@@ak8990 or "Like" 100 times 🤣
@aishaknowsjah1558 I do it every time 🤣
‘ Basically ‘ has implications. It means they are not telling the full story with all the facts.
And as such , they can go back on their words.
The child should have been taken to her paediatrician or urgent care immediately for a check up
ER
Dat is no valiid argumant tho
How do you know that they didn't? Just because it hasn't been mentioned yet doesn't mean that they didn't.
@@michelleprieur1but probably they didn't so they wouldn't have CPS called lol😅
@@michelleprieur1He would have mentioned calling 911.
My first reaction would have been to break the window not call a locksmith especially if the car wasnt running with the ac on or call 911
Right!
You have common or horse sense as it's called. I hope they took the child to the ER to be checked out. I think there's a little more to this story.
The child was in there longer than what they were saying.
Exactly. A child’s life is irreplaceable. A car window is not.
Thank you!! My first reaction would be the same!! Screw a window!🤦🏼♀️
I've smashed a car window to get children out of a boiling car in a car park before.
Well done ❤.
Smart enough to save a kid yet stupid enough to call air boiling?
- some kid who thinks grammer matters probably
Ps. I cringe at this comment lol.
This comment being my own. Before someone even “ stupider “ comments 😂
The defendant is filled with BS.
Quite a bit of BS it seems
I don’t know why. But I read your comment as “that defendant is filled by IBS”
@@yourlonglostbeachball🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆😆🤣🤣
I know Judge Judy doesn’t like it when they pour a glass of water but this young lady needs some!
Then why have it in front of them, just have nothing
More than what her baby had in that hot car
Sounds like she was sick
@@saywhattt82it’s a trap.
Idk
So nobody gets sick and lose their voice anymore?
Mom is like I’m not lying to help anyone and mom is probably finally over it with her daughter using her. Time to be a responsible for your actions without mommy help.
Yes because the daughter is lying and that man has helped the daughter get on her feet 😮
The fact that the defendant's mother doesn't even have enough respect to stay out of it and be on the plaintiff's side says a lot about the defendant.
The mother looks like a problem.
@@CassVanCat agreed. She doesn't help herself by testifying against her own daughter plus the fact that she was so eager to do it. I'm in favor of tough love but that's just disgusting.
Or enough respect to brush her teeth
The mother is his girlfriend that’s why she’s on his hide makes sense
Even worse@@hashtagslim
Even if it was a 100 percent accident that the child was locked in the car, why does the Defendant feel she's not responsible to pay for the window? She should also pay for the dummy keys, as the sole reason for them is to avoid HER children from being locked in the car again. A decent person would have paid out of sheer gratitude her child was safely removed from the situation.
the daughter looks like the type to just stand there dumbfounded. no surprise there. she's trying to use that helpless voice in court but NOT GONNA WORK WITH JJ!
I swear! All that whispering. Girl, SPEAK UP!
Maybe she was sick and had a sore throat. Give her a break!
@@chef1088 Na, she gets fairly loud when she's defensive.
Sounded like she was in shock or PPD...
She probably lost her voice going to a bar or club before taping.
The lady with the big lips in the audience is my favorite 😂😂😂😂😂 her expression are priceless

Didn't even notice the first time, thanks for commenting so I could see it. Totally agree lol
*To all beautiful people reading this wishing you a holiday season full of peace, love, joy and happiness❤❤❤*
Her(defendant)voice is killing me slowly… good Lordd
Sounds like laryngitis or she’s nervous. I know my voice cracks whenever I’m nervous😅
She was probably sick or recovering from being sick
I'm a nurse and she sounds like she has strep throat.
@@michelleprieur1 my voice sounds just like this and I am recovering from laryngitis. It takes a couple weeks for your voice to return because the inflammation 😂 you can't determine what it is by lost of her voice because it could be numerous things strep can only be determined by testing .. and I think patient rarely loose their voice with strep
I knew a woman who lost her voice, for seemingly no reason, and not sure if she ever regained her voice. I worked with her, for months, and she virtually had no voice.
The plaintiff's story seems pretty straight forward!! I wonder what else the defendant will say in part 2!!
What's up with the lady sitting behind the plaintiff... that's one hell of a bad lip filler job... Holy crap... she should be up there getting her money back... good lord
😭shes in a few other cases too
Noticed that too smh
She was an attractive young woman who has made herself look atrocious with bad lip filler surgery. Sad. 😭
@@jaaa7823 I always notice her in the audience. She really stands out.
Just noticed thank you 😅
Everybody, never give your keys (or your phone) to a little child the way this mother did. I remember one day in a library when a mother gave her keys to an 18-month-old to play with, and the kid set them on a shelf somewhere. "Abigail! Where are the keys?" What was the kid supposed to say, "In 808.02's"? The mother had to go up and down all the aisles till she found them.
The mom’s teeth. OMG
That was certainly a surprise
Mom teeth scared me 😳
Yooooooo, that was CRAZY 😱
LOL, was NOT what I expected. Too bad she had to live with that for X amount of time. She might have gotten some work done by now.
Mom is with the boyfriend now!
I meant too bad that she had to live with her teeth looking like that, not the boyfriend. She has a generally nice face. Though he could have had some bad teeth, but that's a side note. @@queenmojo
Yo i literally just posted this 😂😂😂 I was shook
I absolutely love how much he hates basically. I also love how she corrected the plaintiff’s grammar 🤣
Your better off just leading the gay rights movement than posting rubbish on here..
The title alone almost made me angry. Because of my head, I thought someone was suing the guy for breaking the window to save their own baby out of the hot car. I was about to get mad as hell. Then I realize that he’s suing her because she’s a shitty parent.
Same 😂
He SHOULD SUE HER!! She LOCKED HER KIDS IN HIS CAR...
No, that is not the reason...ja. I believe her mother did it...this guy is a jerk.

So accountability is not in her vocabulary 🤨
Nope. But "food" is in her vocabulary.
2:08 lol at the girl with the lipstick's face
She's lucky she wasn't arrested for risk of injury to a minor or endangering the welfare of a child. He could have reported her to the Police, CPS or DSS. Somebody locked the kid in the car.
If it was a genuine accident, which does happen, there's nothing the cops can do. A child has to be in a hot car for more than a certain time before it's considered a crime. The grace period to distinguish between an accident and intentionally is usually 5 minutes.
He’s so beautifully calm. If he can’t handle her than she needs to stay single for the sake of anyone in her love path.
" 2:50 Everybody Start Brushing, Jesus Christ" LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Judy nitpicking at "basically" and the woman adjusting in her seat is a whole mood haha. Can't wait to see the next clip to see if the daughter actually did just "stand there and do nothing" while her kid was locked in a car. Because I'd be frantic haha

100 degrees and call a locksmith???
As soon as the defendant started talking lies started falling out of her mouth.
Wow. Crazy defendant’s mother is a witness for the plaintiff.
FYI 1) locksmith is FREE if a child or pet is locked in the car (found this out when my daughter locked her dog in my car);
2) you don't have to have full coverage to get broken windows covered by insurance. Idk what it's called or if all insurance companies have this. I have State Farm & they DO offer this & almost everywhere will waive any deductible - including mobile glass repair companies. I pay SF like $3 a month for this coverage;
3) ALWAYS have a spare key to every vehicle. You do NOT have to have a $400 key made. You can have just a regular key to just open the doors - just a normal looking key, no key fob so no programming anything & it will NOT work for the ignition. I think I paid like $25 for the key. Also, there are mobile places for keys too. They came out to my house & made my key (idk what their service call fee is because insurance paid for that (because my key was stolen and FYI: your auto insurance will pay to have your key replaced if it was stolen!) but while they were here replacing my $350 programmed key, I also had them make me a door key - which was the only thing I had to pay for. SF paid their service fee & the $350 for my new key & no, I do NOT have full coverage).
1. It's up to the locksmith if it is free or not. 2. Broken windows are covered under comprehensive. State Farm DOES waive deductible on glass replacement. Other insurance company's probably don't. 3. Yes, I had a second key made for a vehicle that had only one key. Car won't start but at least you can access it if need be.
Locksmith still charged me to unlock my car when my daughter got locked in it. Even when the only reason she got locked in was bc I ran to save a random toddler from running into the road. He didn't care. I still had to pay a hefty fee. So that's just plain not true.
Can't get a spare key if you're making payments
Somebody get this girl a cough drop
It says alot that the defendant's mother is on the plaintiff's side
I believe the man. what I don't understand the mother. the man was nice to take her daughter and her children in. why did the mother let her daughter live in a pig stye? why didn't the mother ask to speak in court? why didn't Judy ask her to speak in court? there is something seriously wrong with the daughter, as well.
Here we go with the lying no accountability she thriffling
The mom/grandmother looks like a villain. The way she's over there smiling for some odd reason.
Hey Judge Judy Crew
Fish lips on the left of the plaintiff.
if the defendaant's mother is on the plaintiff's side, it speaks volume.
She got more teeth then I do. I am jealous.

Morning from Australia!
Hey, hey, Aussie crew!

@@stratfordbaby G'day, did ya have ya weetbix today?
Close your eyes and listen to this guy talk and tell me he doesn’t sound like Gerald Mckraney? The dad from the show major Dad? Simon and Simon actor? Anyone?
I bet she's amazing at whispering....
The part where he said, 'I told her you are going to have to pay me for this', immediately after it happened doesn't make sense. The main concern is for the kids at that point. And how could the child have been passed out already when they just got there?
This happened during the summer months. People pass out in extreme heat, and the inside of cars get hot quickly. Pets and kids have died being inside cars without windows rolled down, so kids passing out within a few minutes is not too far off
He could have already been frustrated at her for other things-and this was the final straw; initiating the payback remark. The ex-girlfriend looks a little slow???
The child passed out much later. Lock smiths don’t fall from the sky, and they had been trying to open it for a while with the locksmith.
Not gonna lie I'd likely mention the paying for the windshield too. Child is of upmost importance but I hate stupidity
Just because a child has been saved doesn't mean the parent gets free stuff. He didn't lock the kid in the car. A parent should pay for the damage that saved her child's life. It's not like he was going to have this contractual arrangement BEFORE he agrees to break the window
The defendants mother is on the plaintiffs side? That tells me everything I need to know
What I like about her she does not judge by race religion or beliefs she judges by truth
She's fair.
The truth is the most malleable word in every languages vocabulary.
Good evening from South Africa

lip injectors behind the plaintiff 😂
We were treated to another "NOT 'basically.'"
“Just a second, I don’t want basically .. basically is a filler word. Just answer my question!”
I’m glad she calls people out for it. It’s too bad it happens in almost every case.
Judge Judy that's not Christmas
When the mother opened her mouth, i jumped 10 feet back.
People like her makes me sick poor babygirl😢
Time for a new locksmith
That tooth!
What kind of responsible adult doesn't have an extra car key or fob?!
People who buy used cars. People lose keys.
The moms teeth shocked the 💩 outta me. Didnt exoect that one yikes
Part 1 and I already know the defendant is lying.
Here in Australia, this is a very serious matter (if not in the US). We've even got a slogan for it, the "unconventional oven"
I did that by accident. I was taking my child to story time at the local library. Thankyou police. I tried to break the window but couldn’t. My daughter was fine thank God.
Sad when parents & kids sued each other.
He’s not her father.
@Mr._X84 mom's boyfriend. Still sad/weird (not that I am defending the defendant)
Not his child or responsible
He's DATING her mother, so he isn't a "parent."
Defendant is one of those parents who leave their kids in hot cars for hours. Shame that they never pay for the abuse from keeping a child in a hot car.
Omg the grandmother’s teeth. Wtf😂
She has stains from using Tetracycline as a child.❤
The lady’s lips behind the plaintiff 😮 😆
💀
Right after a medical emergency, he brought up paying back? Nice. 🙄
She wasn’t fazed . Useless
This case isn’t starting right with me. Why were the kids locked up in the car in the first place? Bad parenting….
I’m assuming they gave the child the keys to comfort her and while getting in the car themselves she locked the doors. The man did say she likes hearing the noise when you press the button.
Do you know how easy it is for a child to accidentally lock themselves in the car? I'd wager not.
How about it was just an accident.
I will admit I left our child in the car seat of our car for about 5 minutes. I had to bring a bunch of things in the house and left her in the car sleeping. I brought everything in and said whoops. Brought the baby in finally. 👀👀
My wife locked our 6 month old daughter in her car during the summer and it was 118 degrees outside.
Her purse and phone were also in the car.
Our daughter was asleep.
Our neighbor was home and she called me. I calmed my wife down and called the fire dept. The fire dept was at the house in 10 minutes to unlock the car. Our daughter got a stuffed animal from the fire dept.
My wife was upset about that for a damn month.
I finally had to say will you give yourself a break. It was an accident. Our child was asleep the entire time. 👍🏾
We were doing laundry one time, I was sitting on the bed and heard the dryer buzzer go off. I emptied the dryer and carried the clothes back to our bedroom. Just as I was about to throw the clothes on the bed, I saw some little legs on the bed and barely managed to not throw the clothes on her. Lol 😂😂
I yelled out WTH. Don't be sneaking her onto our bed like that. She was about to be a missing person. 👀👀👀

You’re lucky that she didn’t die in that hot car
@@Trapper_Creek_2024 Possibly. But if things he gone south the neighbor would have broken a window. She was fine sleeping her butt off. Never knew what happened until she asked me if her Mom locked her in the car. 👀👀👀👀 I was like who ??. Lol 🤣😂

Modern “push to start” engine cars now don’t lock if the key is still inside.
She hit the lock button because she thought any beeping noise meant it was unlocked?
... sometimes it's a wonder that designers can think of anything simple enough for damned near brain dead people to operate at all.
most jurisdictions you have to call the local police to get the ok to break a car window ... police dispatch asks a series of questions before saying yes or no ( outside temperature and such )
