Have a 24 5.0 avalanche grey as well. Been eyeing this muffler for a few months but didn’t trust the Flowmaster video. Thanks for the WOT passes on vid, it’s already on its way!
Exhaust clips of donuts in the snow 👍 so much cleaner than the noise associated with clips over asphalt where half of what is captured is ground sounds.
I just did a resonator delete only. And it woke the truck up, no drone, and rap the throttle and sounds great! Doesn’t wake the household up with cold starts either. Don’t know what the hp gain is, but .25 seconds faster 0-60.
Love the truck bro.. its a really killer looking spec.. I have had two f150's, a 17 & 19..both when lifted, both had that kinda nose down stance still as I see urs does a bit too, I changed my rear lift block and or removed the factory spacer that whoever installed the lift left in place.. Dropping the rear 2in makes em look way better than the blocks that get sent with the kits..
I just purchased a flow master outlaw part number 815425 for my 2021 5.0 with one side exit and hope it’s not too loud and obnoxious on the outside. Want an aggressive rumble but not crazy loud gonna keep resonator just swap mufflers and add a new tip. I don’t wanna be that guy with the super loud truck but I wanna appreciate and hear that 5.0
I keep seeing a lot of people worried about drone when doing exhaust modifications, I guess I'm just not bothered by it because I have a 21 GT with an X pipe and muffler delete cat back system and the drone doesn't bother me at all and it's the loudest car I've owned
I'm 32 and have had numerous vehicles with drone in the past, and it has never really bothered me either. But now having a little one in the back seat I'm more conscientious of the drone.

I’m in BC and leave tomorrow to Edmonton to pick up a 2024 f150 icon silver tremor 402A package with 3.5L. They have the 5L and tried it here in town. Very nice sound but that’s all I got. It was impressive tell I jumped into the eco boost. 0-60 the eco boost did it 1.3 sec quicker. However, love the lift you have to. What are you running for the front and rear with tire size pls & thanks in advance. Jealous of that sound though, sick ride man.
great video. i got AWE cat back on my 23 5.0 tremor. installed the resonated pipe but also have the resonator delete pipe just in case i wanted louder. is it easy to drop the resonated pipe and install the resonator delete pipe without loosening all the hangers and stuff? thanks for the content!
Yes It should be fairly easy. Take the 2 bolts out of the flange and loosen off the the pipe clamp near the muffler. Once you do that simply pull the flange apart and the resonator should come out.
There are so many great exhaust setups for the 5.0L🙌 I just figured since OEM Exhaust is already 3 inches might as well save the money and just get a muffler.
You may get a couple years out of that flow master set up. It will rust out quick especially if it’s exposed to salt. I do not believe they use 409 stainless. More like just mild steel. I stopped buying flowmaster about 10 yrs ago because the 409 stainless would start rusting bad within a couple months.
I am a follower of the beautiful channel and I want to buy a Ford F150 and we have two engines in Saudi Arabia v8 5.0 as well as a Turboa 3.5 V6 which one do you recommend buying
That's such a subjective question. Both are great motors but ultimately comes down to preference. I personally will only ever buy the 5.0L for a number of reasons. Overall reliability, sound, maintenance. But there's no doubt the v6 ecoboost has more power. So ultimately comes down to what you want.
I have a 2024 f150 v8 with the flowmaster fx and it sounds terrible when cylinder deactivation hits. It is so annoying sounding I am going to put back the oem muffler back in.
For every truck I have owned for 25yrs I have just bought a flowmaster 2 chamber or now Super 44, take it to my local shop, they cut out the old, and weld in my new muffler in its place with about a foot of extra pipe as the new muffler is shorter than stock.. All cost is usually around $100-$150bucks.. If you buy an expensive muffler its $200.. Those prefab kits by exhaust companies are hilarious.. I have a buddy that bought an axle back for his new Camaro, spent $1,300 bucks, and its freakin straight pipes.. LMAO,, two 3ft long mandrel bent 3in pipes, with two clamps and two tips.. $1300... and they sell thousands to idiots with no brains..
I don't have a straight piece to put in at the moment. But definitely something I might consider going forward. Like I said in the video my main concern is not having to much drone. And I think the deleting the resonator would make highway travel unbearable. But I'll definitely try it and post a video on it at a later date. 🤙
Dont delete the resonator, the drone is super annoying. Buy a better resonator. People that recommend that never had a good quality loud exhaust without drone.
I have the same truck and put in the Flowmaster Super50 single in dual out. I’m happy with it, but I have drone. Thinking next to move to a J-pipe and thinking to get a better resonator. My question is what would be a perfect resonator to cinch down the sound a little. I like the nice sound but would like to turn the volume down a couple of notches. Any input is helpful.

Sounds great, man. I am in love with my low tone exhaust system in my coyote mustang. As I am older and enjoy the sound in the trucks too.
I did a muffler delete and kept my resonator. Dumped it out with 3.5” dual tip in front of my passenger tire. Sounds great

Black Widow Venom 250 has all the sound with no drone. Plus more horse torques.
hows it holding up to the winter? any rust yet ?
