Just put the seat belt on, it should stop, my Honda does the same thing, but you should never been using the door open method, just angle your mirror down to see the back of the vehicle

It should be an option to turn it off. All these so called safety features should have the option of turning them off.

It is a brilliant feature..why do you need the door open when "reversing or driving"? Can you not see out that huge mirror or the massive piece of glass in front of you..

You can easily open the door and put it in gear. It won’t automatically shift into park lol atleast know what you’re talking about before posting

Not sure why you want the door open while driving. What makes me mad is electric cars that dont let you raise your butt up while looking out the window or out the back. The slam into park. How is a short person supposed to park

My wifes VW Atlas turns on the e brake if you reverse with the door open. Its maddening.

Same with 23 charger. Gear shift doesnt move but still disengages to park when the door opens. Major inconvenience

Do you know, what is the precise width difference between your modified F150 Tremor here and a new F150 Raptor? I wonder, with that added poke how close to the Raptor width this gets. I've heard that an F150 Raptor is something like 6" or 7" wider than a stock F150, and I've heard a stock F150 Tremor is 1" wider than a stock non-Tremor F150. That poke changes this though.

My car doesn't even beep at me for not wearing a seatbelt, i love it. A stark contrast to my dad's Chinese EV that drives me up the wall.

Yeah I had a Lincoln that did this and if I open my door and then I put the car in Reverse or drive it wouldn't automatically go back to a message with pop up on the dash that says car not in park

The T-taps are a simple connection most people will use, but IMO solder the wires or use the connectors with shrink wrap ends and solder for connections. I also assume the wiring is diode isolated as to not back feed. Awesome video either way, keep it up!

Hate it, my 2024 Maverick has it as well.

When reversing and it auto shifts, once the door is open I just move back into reverse. Not a big deal.
