Oh man this was HILARIOUS! One of the best ways of paying homage to those three crazy guys from Sweden 🤣 Welcome to the Dirty Loops rabbit hole, Dan, and thanks to QoFy for introducing him. How good to see his mind blown 🧨💥🔥 What’s in the water or fruit over there, in Sweden, I’m not sure, but they sure have a great, inclusive and public education system which gives everyone a fair chance to, well, become a Dirty Loop if they so wish…. Would absolutely love for you guys to have more listening sessions to other Dirty Loops gems. That was gold ✌️✨🤘
Thank you for introducing Dan to the best band ever! More Dirty Loops for Dan please! 🙂I first head this song more than 10 years ago - and I still haven't gotten over it! 😂
Great reaction - keep discovering Dirty Loops, they´ll not let you down, even sideprojects like Jonahs "Diamond Ring", "Coffee Break" and Henrik & Arons Songs For Lovers - are all great - and great fun
Halirious but so real!! I heard their song first time in my car and I almost jumped from my driver seat when I heard the harmonization of the chorus part and I was laughing hysterically Their new song "Follow the Light" is also dope as hell!
Hi QoFy ... I subscribed to your channel because you reacted to BTS 💜 and now you react to Dirty Loops ❤ Two of my most faves in the world!!! 🥰 Thank you so much 🫰🫰🫰Warm regards from Indonesia 💐
Great reaction! One of the best and most real reactions one can expect from a first listen to Hit Me. Take a deep dive, you'll appreciate every second of it. By the way, with little effort you can find Jonah fooling around with Jacob Collier over Stevie Wonder's Do I Do. See you down there, Alice
Highlights: 0:54 Dan's First Reaction 2:47 I'm gonna save it on Spotify NOW!! 3:36 First guess on where Dirty Loops is from (spot on!! kudos you guys) 5:45 WHAT?? SWEDEN?!! Nani?! You know what, this makes sense *rofl* 7:41 Crazy key change sssssill mmm wawawa milimi~ 11:20 This bit is too much more me 12:12 Dan in absolute awe - "three Jacob Colliers" 13:03 Can't take the church any more 14:20 That bit pissed me off! 19:23 Well goodbye...but there is so much excitement we just keep talking 20:50 Great comment: "there is a market in America where you can't be as creative." 21:34 That "Dirty Loops" name is interesting! I almost come back every day. You guys are so hilarious! Really love the duo - QoFy has listened to the song so many times he can make a lot of interesting observations, with Dan providing first time reaction and great insightful comments!
So glad you introduced Dan to Dirty Loops!..if he can’t be found..just look in the Dirty Loops rabbit hole ☺️‼️. My fav..”It can’t be from America or UK..it’s too good!” Lol!…understatement ☺️ Hope Dan can watch the Collaboration with Jacob Collier.. th-cam.com/video/5O3jyV5iud0/w-d-xo.html ☺️‼️
This was sooo enjoyable. Please, please repeat it with perhaps Rock you, Next to you, and then Work shit out. Then continue with all the rest they have done, and stop when DL no longer surprises Dan. Oh, it would be great to hear Dan’s comments on Run away! This was such a pleasure! Loved it! They are obviously well trained musicians, all three, but I am sure others will tell you about that.
Two things you might not know: 1. This was Dirty Loops' first-ever original song. Up to this point, they'd been doing imaginative covers. 2. "Hit Me" went #1 in Japan, the first time a Western band had achieved that Top of the Pops spot in 5 years. Not bad for your first-ever original tune! More amazing songs from their debut album, "Loopified" (which is great, BTW), "The Way She Walks," "I'm Lost in You," "Accidentally in Love," and "Die for You." Check out their covers as well ... "Ta Fete," "Baby," "Roller Coaster," and "Undo" ... for starters. Listen to a minute or two of the original songs first. Then check out how DL totally reworked them. You'll be gobsmacked!
As a Swede and a man married to a 45 % black woman it warms my heart so much to see reaction videos of black brothers reaction to the Dirty Loops. Never ONCE have I heard any silly woke comment about them being white, stealing your music or anything like this. Just joy, admiration and approval! Dirty Loops is such a proof of music crossing all cultural borders. They are classicaly schooled, the singer Jonah and the drummer Aron has a master in arranging classical music! This is the proof that the black cultural heritage is just as established as a worldwide genre that anyone is entitled to, just as much like the originally white classical music. And what a marriage this is! Sometimes you here silly woke voices saying that the classical music and the fact that it has some kind of privelege is racist. It´s not, anyone is free to endulge in it. And the same with jazz, funk, hiphop, soul... As a Swede I can tell you: The music of the black culture has taught as so many good things! Jazz and other genres are really appreciated and respected in my country. Jonah Nilsson grew up listening to Michael Jackson. Now he has the same manager, Quincy Jones, who by the way has a Swedish son. May MJ smile in his heaven listening to this. We are all brothers and sisters! I love my Mexican-African wife!! 😆
Why the RANT. …just enjoy! You tried to justify your slanted opinion by mentioning your 45% ‘Black’ wife. Please😢😢😢. Let’s celebrate great music together🎉🎉
@@WashingtonFamily-o8c "As a Swede and a man married to a 45 % woman IT WARMS MY HEART..." In what why is that anything but an expression for my emotion? You are attacking my emotion which is not very respectful, nor is it friendly. What about taking your own advice?
@@WashingtonFamily-o8c Criticizing someone sharing the reason for feeling a WARM HEART... Wow... what's your problem, what's your lack in life? Who crippled you since you feel the need to cripple another person's joy and gratefulness? All while saying: "let's enjoy the music". Wow.
Nope, it´s not the fruit we are eating. It´s the long, cold winters and the solitude it brings! Plenty of time to practice alone in the basement of your parent´s house, and such a longing for to play in a band! 😆 Hard to beat, ingredients that are hard to find in other, more cosy places. 😝
…I can imagine…. Pekka Kuusisto, Finnish violinist (starring in the music film “4”) said something very similar, about how he gets through the long, cold Winter nights over there…. ☺️
@@fiddlestix3025 It seems to have worked for Bob Marley. "Redemption song" is said to have been written in the basement of a private house in a suburb to Stockholm. 😄
