I think I have watched every reaction you have done for "Dirty Loops" and I must say I have enjoyed every one. Very entertaining and informative. Great Job!!!
I remember being about 13-14 years old, discovering some great old bands like Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd...and being excited about playing an instrument. Now I´m so excited about Dirty Loops and frustrated about playing any instrument.
You so succinctly nailed the "addiction" to first time reactions. Thank you for holding off-don't know how you do it-to then let us vicariously experience once again that joy that comes from 'new music virginity'. I always enjoy your comments and appreciation so once again thank you for having the control to not just binge out upon being turned onto some new music. Great job.
Charlie, don't forget to do "World On Fire". That's my latest love affair with a song. You get some extra Henrik in that one. Shades of Wayman Tisdale.
I love seeing your reaction and appreciation for these amazing Swedish geniuses! Amazing talent with great sense of humor too! I've binge watched all your Dirty Loops reactions xD I can't believe is been almost 10 years since Loopified came out! You should def check out "The Way She Walks" from that album! No music vid tho but omg that track is awesome! Keep it up bro!
Yes, I listen to those reaction videos to experience that first listen-joy again with someone, and also to hear their analysis and comments regarding technical and musical aspects of a song. It’s always great to listen to Dirty Loos with you, Charlie :) Face melting, brain frazzling, this song does it all. I’ve got it on a CD in my car, on repeat. “Sayonara Love”, “Ta Fête”, “”Roller Coaster”, “Wake Me Up”, -these are just a few more from their first album which are out of this world. As you’ve said, anything from these guys is just incredible. Still, I’m with some other comments here: another great one you haven’t reacted to, is “World On Fire” 🔥 Thanks for this reaction, and looking very much forward to more Loops from you 🙏
Yeah! Hit Me was my first exposure to Dirty Loops, sent in a text from my friend from college. (Which means she has been introducing me to her favorite music as she discovers it herself, for the past 3 decades, yikes!) I listened to Hit Me on my phone, sort of in a slack-jawed trance, with my mouth agape like a discarded Muppet, & replied something to the effect of "Holy Shit, are you trying to give me a heart attack?!" And then down the rabbit hole I went, spending the next year or more in what I refer to as my Dirty Loops Immersion Period (which was preceded by my Brian Wilson Immersion Period & followed by my BTS Immersion Period, which I am still exploring). Never would I have imagined that I would become equally obsessed with 3 different groups of 3 different eras (sort of), from 3 different countries, with 3 completely different soundscapes. It appears I am mesmerized by male harmony groups with intricate musicianship. Thanks for your reaction!
Haha, L B Mama thanks for the story and, all these years later still, thanks to your friend from college, too :) Yeah, this intro to Dirty Loops would’ve given you heart attacks and all kinds of awesome sauce…. 🤣 Someone gave me their Loopified CD for Christmas, and it’s on repeat in my car -best present ever!! 🎉💽🔥
It’s great to see musician/singers listen and react for an audience. You get how insane this is and let us actually get most of the music before pausing! Thanks bruh
Charlie, dead on with "what reaction channels are about" but I'd add, we also prefer to share the time with a person who adds something, and has energy we want to be around, and you have that in spades. IANOVocalist but I was with baited breath waiting on the end for you! 😀 I think my favorite moment is the bass arpeggios after Jonah's arpeggio/glissando thing that you replayed. Beautiful moment.
At the start of the video a recommendation in the corner popped up for JP Cooper. Please react to some of his awesome music if you haven't already. Dude is a legend.

Dirty Loops is the musical equivilant of Everything Everywhere All-at Once!
My favorite dirty loop song. I couldn't wait until you got to the end.
I love what you said about them being exhausting but exhilarating because it's true. It's always so much to take in, but it's so enjoyable.
"Exhausting but exhilarating"... what a great way to say it! Spot on!
What it takes, it gives back 10 fold! Love that…

Hit Me is an absolute classic. Trio goals for real. So much talent and groove packed into a short and catchy pop song!
I get the exact same feelings!! Great reaction Charlie, thanks! 🙂
