I enjoyed this edifying lecture on the life and work of Jonathan Edwards. I have found Edwards's work, and especially his treatise on Religious Affections, to be very helpful to the spiritual life, and well worth taking the time to read as an excellent aid in examining one's self, to see if one is truly "in the faith." Thank you for posting this lecture!
Iain H Murray's latest book, Wesley & Men Who Followed, is as good an all around biography as one is likely to find. Theological students as well as lay folk will find in it's pages a simple Elegance of style easily understandable yet not lacking in intellectual development. Murray's style can cause a computer person to rediscover the joy of a hard cover book. Purchase this book as a gift for a young student entering college or better yet, for yourself.
