    I like how they constantly frame Will as Lucifer as bigger than Crowe’s Pearly. Pearly is shot with the camera facing down towards him, while Lucifer is looked up at in every frame. It’s a good way to establish who has true dominance in the scene. Even when Lucifer is getting up, Pearly is pictured as tiny compared to him.

    This was one of the most beautiful presentations of Lucifer, and regardless of everything else, which I will not comment on, but... Will Smith's portrayal of Lucifer is beautiful - right up until the director or producer or production company decided to ruin it with that last second of CGI. The scene did not need, it stood perfectly on its own. It was like watching to most magnificently prepared meal being brought to your table only to have the service staff drop it on the floor.

    This is honestly genius. The Devil is often depicted as this grotesque beast, with no rhyme or reason just to do evil. However we often forget that the Devil was an angel not just any angel but an arc angel. By definition of this he spent a infinite spanse of time being the best at fight war. He wouldnt be hot headed, he would be calculated, he would stick to the rules. He also wouldnt tip the balance. Remember his crime was rebelling against his father and look what happened, he would stick to the rules. Furthermore why anyone would automatically think Lucifer is inherently evil baffles me He was an angel and he punishes evil doers that end up in Hell. More than anything he would be a dont start nothing wont be nothing type and a know your place and respect mine type.

    • @latengorico6229
      @latengorico6229 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      From what I understand, he doesn't punish anyone for the sake of goodness, he does it as a form of ongoing rebellion to his father and this scene pretty much cements the fact that he also has to follow certain rules yo abide by AND personal matters between lesser beings is not as important as Pearly wanted it to be.

    This is crazy. His dialogue is reflecting perfectly the period of time before God created Adam in Genesis chapter 1. People don’t realize that there was a whole other species of man created before Adam n Eve. I believe the mass murder and destruction lucifer is referring to is exactly from the part where the Earth was without form and void.
