13 Lakhs kinda steep for a scooter. for 13 Lakhs, id expect top speed 200kmph, ventilated seats, adjustable suspension (preload atleast) boot lighting and more power.
Not worth it at all! 1. Engine revv sound is the first disappointment. 2. No Flat-board floor, which is common in most of the scooters now. 3. Flexcase is not useful during times when you need extra storage as the bike won't start! 4. When helmet is neither kept in the flexcase nor worn by the rider, you can ride it. 5. Basically, it doesn't have any AI or any kind of sensor to recognise the rider wearing a helmet or not. 6. Then why all this hype of being the most "sophisticated" bike. 7. Agreed that it's the costliest bike around but definitely not worth it. Cheers👍
in my opinion Yamaha maxi scooter is a perfect scooty regarding everything affordable , performance, mileage and the main thing maintenance is soo cheap and Japanese engine is to refined for these Indian roads buying this BMW maxi scooty will be useless only
I wonder why this is so expensive in India. In Australia, for example, it sells for under $16,000 AUD on the road, about 8.8 lakh INR. Prices in Europe and the US are similar.
This scooter is too expensive all features are of Big brother GSA 1250 , price is too much for a country like us , Yamaha Aerox is much more affordable than this . Also maintenance of all BMW two wheels is too expensive .
Everything is good but all most all mechanics are internal that could be problem in case of servicing, In a normal bike or even in a expensive bike the parts that create general problems are visible that's easy to manage, other than BMW no one would dare to open it.
This bike segment are for peoples, who want to buy bike or scooter for daily use. but also they want to make sure that they won't look like ordinary bike wala's 😃😃

For flex thing we Indians have lots of jugad , if you not place your helmet in the flex pit then will it starts , people in India always tie there helmets over the Rear view mirror . So scooter will start if you don't keep you helmet in flex pit .
What if want to store luggage in boot space which goes down because of weight. but you wear helmet. Will the engine start?? Also seat should automatically come up and go down without us lifting it to access the boot space. Paying 13 lakhs for it. Staying up is not sufficient. Wires don't jut out even in normal mopeds like activa or access 125. It's only in bikes.
The scooter is good no doubt, but I really love the way you present. I have seen others presenting the products focusing wholly on it but that twist you have, like example when the dogs were fighting you just left what you were doing about but went to shoo shoo those dogs. That's natural and beautiful way of presentation.
I really wished that BMW had provided a space to at least store a small briefcase or a small laptop in this scooter. That could have been really pragmatic approach for this scooter.
So basically you cannot carry around a second helmet under the seat in case you get a pillion rider later on. The under seat storage is a joke. Should have incorporated a face recognition tech available on even cheap mobile phones to check if rider is wearing a helmet rather than this .. if that's what BMW intended to do

I Have " keyless " on a couple of BMW s and Triumphs. Royal PITA. If battery goes dead , you're screwed. If you lose the remote you're REALLY screwed. Have heard it takes weeks or even months to get a replacement. I wish they had a regular key option or retro fit option.

But coming to the bigger picture bmw cars are also proportionately priced. So are the bikes. Just one scooter is launched and their is negative publicity going on. Place it beside an alto, it will cover much of it's length.
