The reason to change oil sooner on the first one is to get rid of metal bits still floating around after the manufacture. Just a tip to others to get this done at the recommended interval and not go 1000 miles over. Oil is the blood of your engine.
@@thatguy-555 true. I did call the BMW dealership where I got it and they told me to not sweat it (going over). But I agree, sooner is better. They also told me Rotella T6 is fine
Got a 2023 triple black and find the same problem with the oil reset Have to over pay for that and doesn’t let me take off the traction control Fell like it’s not mine 🤷🏻♂️
theres apparently some gs-911 or something like that, bluetooth dongle that you attach to the obd port to rest oil service light and access other stuff it's like $300 🙄 too much tech! its a SCOOTER!!!
Worst thing is flex case for me. You cannot take even sport bag as it needs to be up. Also back shock absorber are not soo good. Even me and my wife 85 and 60kg and they fell very soft and fells like they cannot take even 140-150kg. Maybe some aftermarket upgrade could work. All the other things are ok, but if you ask me it to much money at the end. I bought it as i have the money. Buy i think there are better options or very similar bikes or slightly worst bikes for the less less money. I even tried Zontes and it was very good experince at the end. Even more options and equipements. Similar performance, more bag storage..but i just love the BMW badge. I know it is bad, but that how it is..
@@urosvranic4930 agreed, the rear suspension is very stiff for me at 65 kg. Big bumps in the road almost buck me off the bike. High speed dampening is not great, especially for a BMW. I would get a Honda equivalent if I could do it over again
Especially if you’re only going to ride it 900 miles a year. That’s a pretty expensive bike to just leave in the garage. I just bought a Yamaha XMax 300 about a month ago and am already scheduling the first 600 mile service.
@@jmcminn1076 I ride it so little because I put all my miles on my Honda CRF250L dual sport. Dirt back roads are where the joy is for me. 2015 and have 38,000 miles on her! Almost all off-road

@@nhodorek fair enough. It’s just that a BMW C400GT seems like it’d be a pretty expensive scooter to own for such sparse use. (shrug).

Totally agree 😡
Xmax 300 probably a better option
What BMW doesn't want you to know and never mentions is
100% of the BMW C400 GTS IS TOTALLY MADE IN CHINA 🇨🇳 AT LONCIN FACTORY
