Part of the reason Regeneradors' parasite is hard to hit with the SMGs is because they don't have very good penetrating power, using the scope on a rifle makes hitting them a lot easier, because they pierce all the way through the Regeneradors' bodies. Iron Maidens still suck though
I think, iirc they gave players the hint on what type of weapon to use, just that a section of players were not paying attention to read them, unfortunately, i think Kang Fasho belongs to the same section. You know the famous saying; "knowledge(reading) *IS* power"!

Also many people consider the RE1 remake the best remake ever because there’s no cut content, and only added new content. Which I can understand but if they changed the controls to suit the generation of that time I think people would probably still complain. Even though it’s a remake of a ps1 game that came out in 1996. So of course they’d keep the original controls
Fun fact. There's an exploit with the duel Garrador fight. Just before it, buy a rocket launcher and shoot it directly at the door behind them, dead center, just as you enter the room. Kills them both about 70% of the time or if not, at least one of them and gravely wounding the other. Call it cheap, but f*** that fight anyway, I'm with you that it's annoying.
You should give Re1 Remake a chance. It‘s just a completely different experience from the new Remakes and way less action focused but that was exactly what Re1 was designed for. In my opinion it has aged like fine wine even though it‘s 20 years old. It still looks damn good, has super dense atmosphere and it‘s probably the best classic survival horror experience you can get. That‘s why I don’t think it needs a Remake like 2 and 3 got

Overall great video and a lot of your criticisms are warranted, but some of it sounds like a you problem lol. I admittedly did play on mouse and keyboard so I can speak to the aiming, but I had no issue with hitboxes. The spiked regenerators were the only ones that felt a little jank. Didn’t really have any issue aiming with the Red9 either, I used it more than any other gun all the way through ng+3. I also had no issue with budget management for upgrading and repairing, all of my guns were upgraded to the second or third tier on all stats by the end of my first play through.

He was landing most of his shots, but it isn't just "hit the weak point and done" you must deal some ammount of damage to actually pop that heart. The game gives you a weapon that can use the scope just as a last case scenario in case you don't have the rifle or money to buy it, doesn't mean you should use it.

Funny enough Leon's running speed in the remake is the fastest he's ever run, in re2 Leon moves like a slug and in re3 remake Jill runs a bit faster which means re4 remake has the best controlling character to date
after try out the Remake version, well i have a mix feeling some good change and some bad change like Ashley have a bit more of personality to her character that is good i was consider when they try to change her personality 180 in the teaser but oh well. the graphic look good, but that come with a bad thing since they did the whole remake thing some of the area that is from the original was throwed out like the Cable car battle. U3 boss battle, the alternate pass after house hold out part, the cage fight, the nest and that lava room some of them is ridiculous but it's memorable area and my big disappoint is probably from the regenerator first encounter also leon just won't shut up after kill one or two enemies. so RE4R feel you're rather watching a movie since it's more narrow than the OG fun fact: you can skip the whole freezer room during regenerator introduction where you get that thermic scope thing in the OG
41:20 The remake definitely feels a bit tighter in the cash department, but in a good way in my opinion as it intensifies the survival part of survival-horror (and just a sidenote for the sake of clarity; it's also part action, so not to say it's purely survival-horror). Did you keep most of your weapons? I would often upgrade a gun type to a newer one whenever the Merchant made it available, for instance by selling the previous shotgun and using the cash to buy the new one as well as upgrade it as much as I could. Don't remember their names, but I stuck to a handgun, shotgun and sniper and kept upgrading them, as it covered most of my needs. I had a magnum as well for bosses/tougher enemies, but didn't upgrade it as much. I don't think I would have been able to upgrade the guns I had as much as I did if I had assault rifles etc. and needed to upgrade these as well. I like this aspect of the game as it forces you to make decisions on what to keep based on how you want to play, and I don't think it would have been as great of an experience if keeping and upgrading all guns would have been easier to do. Sorry for the rant, great video! Keep up the good work!
I think in this day and age they could probably port this version to phones. I mean if they can get the remake to play on phones I don’t see why they couldn’t get the original version to
i preordered the game and i dont know if you can buy it now or not but you got a bit of dlc which switches the ost to the original re4 and the guy on the title screen says "resident evil 4"
@@Eddycut While the Matilda does have the best dps, it also drain your ammo like hell lmao yes the game will compensate you by giving you more pistol ammo, but you could still run low sometimes.
I’m considering it, really enjoyed breath of the wild and have been excited for this one but nintendos behavior towards TH-camrs and the way they strike channels casually has made me a little worried to cover it. Gonna wait a bit to see how they react to other videos of tears of the kingdom before deciding.
