All very good advise, especially changing the oil, change the oil often as within 5k miles for 4 cylinders with Turbos! Turbos get hot and use the oil to cool it, so it breaks down faster then a naturally aspirated engine! 😊
I don't care who says what. Engines are pretty expensive but oil and filters are cheap. I change the oil and filters in all my cars every 2000 miles. I don't care what the manufacturers say or anyone else. They both get replaced together. And I take the bolt put of my transmission and change the fluid every other oil change. It's easier with a pan that has a drain bolt. I've never had engine or transmission problems doing this
So the oil is responsible for up to 40% of engine cooling? What are the other percentages here? I thought only water and fuel were responsible for cooling the engine, not the oil though. Maybe this is due to less friction?

Oil filters are too cheap to not replace with every oil change 😒 new oil + new filter = maximum protection
Simple logic
Yep! It doesn't matter how good an oil filter are. I change them out with every oil change I do on my vehicle.
