- I've been having fun filling in blank spaces and trying new designs. I love free motion longarm quilting! In this space I quilted a tiered feather, echoed swirls, piano keys and pebbles that look like pearls! So much fun! no marking or rulers. I used my tie off option and channel locks on my Gammill to create the piano keys : Here's the link to that video!

Perfect is the best word for your talented work. You make it all look so effortless. I would have to use a ruler to make those piano key lines. The pearls did make the final row perfect as well. I really love your work.

I have a sit down machine so I don’t have channel locks, but I now have some new ideas to practice. My goal is the smooth, fluid movements that you show with your machine. ❤️😊

I don't know why I hadn't seen this before,but I haven't. Shame on me! This is a gorgeous design! My husband bought me a long-arm for my birthday/Christmas! I'm so excited to start practicing on it. Unfortunately, it won't be delivered until the middle of January. While I'm a pretty good sit-down quilter on my Sweet 16, there is going to be a huge learning curve on the long-arm. Do you have any on-line classes for beginning baby long-armers? And I'm talking about VERY baby long-armer -everything from loading and how laser lights work, just some good overeall beginner stuff....You are such a fantastic quilter, I would love to take a lesson or two from you.☺

There are so many different kinds and sizes out there. Mine is a Gammill. You can go to their website. Look up longarm quilting machines 👍 Handi Quilter, and Innova are also good machines.
