Feathers and Curls Free Motion on my Gammill non-computerized machine. I love free motion quilting. The feather spine is a simple wiggle, then start making those magical feathers! I was fascinated by the technique and pattern of sewing with one stroke. The process by which the fabric and batting are integrated by stitching is exciting just by looking at it.

Absolutely gorgeous! Can you offer a tip to get the backtracking more perfect? Mine obviously looks nothing like yours.
If your machine is kind of light weight.... You can add some weight on top. It can help with steadiness...
@@adriagoodlongarmquiltingco1719 Ty! I have a Gammill Vision 2, so it's got pretty good weight, I think. I also use the open toe foot. Yet, I still do not seem to backtrack that well. I will try some weight though. Thanks again!
