I think that voice types are very important even in pop music and that's why all of the mainstream male singers are either tenors (the vast majority and most of them have shity techniques like Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber but it doesn't matter as long as they are able to reach high notes comfortably) or high baritones with perfect technique and great, developed mix which allows them to belt high(like Michael Bublé, Scott Hoying and John Legend). Basses can only be found in acapella groups sadly.
Voice types dosent matter prince was a baritone he hit super high notes (G6) . Freddie was a baritone that sung in the tenor range voice types don’t matter especially in rock music also Michael Jackson lowest is e2 or f2 can’t remember that’s Proof that voice classification Dosent matter

The lowest I can go is D2(fry) the highest is D6 (head voice once in a while when I want to)........ my prime voice is in between C3 (comfortable low) - F#4 (belt) ..... i consider myself as a Baritone since i have that depth in low register and my speaking voice. Some argue that I'm just an undeveloped Tenor because when i go higher my voice is starting to get brighter but it doesn't sound authentic to my voice.

Yes, improve your technique. It may not be the answer you want to hear but it's the truth. As long as you are singing using the wrong muscles, you will have difficulty with the longevity of your voice.

My falsetto helps me to reach E5 but sometimes on straining and hurting my voice I can hit a F5 with My falsetto.. What kind of voice do I have and is it even average in terms of amateur singing.

Yes. Or chest dominant mixed voice. I’m personally a Baritone and my chest dominance ends at G#4. At F#4 is my first flip. At around A4 my chest dominance ends and my mixed voice is balanced, at this point it’s obvious that I’m mixing. But I’m still practicing. On good days I sing songs where my Bb4 is chest dominant and sounds good, but with a lot of support. I started off with D4 being my highest note. I’m cursed as well but we just have to get the technique down depending on one’s voice.
omg ao you just say voice type doesnt matter because you can increase your vocal range to a certain point... But voice type do matter alot. tenors have a lighter, breathier und fluent voice. They can do riff and runs much easier, especially on higher notes. The transistions between chest / mix voice and head / falsetto for tenors sound much more flawless and effortless since they have a overall lighter, higher timbre to their voices. I dont like when people say if you have a darker, deeper speaking voice you are a baritone. Hit up Charlie Puth. He has a crazy as deep speaking voice but his singing voice is the opposite of that. he is a lyric tenor...
Well, what mishan was talking about is that it doesnt matter because you can achieve anything through proper techniques and proper trainings, it does a matter a lot maybe if youre just starting

You could be a leggero tenor. They are often mis-categorized as baritones.
