Now, before everybody leaves an angry comment that I just copied Bdubs, I have a something to clarify: I came up with this idea in early 2023, before Bdubs also did the same thing in a Hermitcraft and Building with Bdubs episode. In other words, Bdubs and I both came up with this idea independently, though he demonstrated it first. I do not mean to copy Bdubs, but seeing as he did not go very in-depth into his method and that we do have some differing methods, I decided to publish this anyway, as I was working on the script at the time he published his Building with Bdubs video. Finally, this is in no way a denigration of Bdubs, as I am not at all surprised he came up with the idea himself (as it is a rather obvious flaw in Minecraft building, and he is very good at coming up with new building tricks). Now that I've gotten all that out of the way, feel free to still leave the comment; it helps my engagement. Also, for my last video, click here: th-cam.com/video/QrL4RqJkB34/w-d-xo.html And of course, thanks for watching!
Being a few decades older than you, I know very well that many people always come up with the same idea (in all fields of studies, work and arts). So yes, your idea is really similar to what Bdubs did on HC, but it's totally possible there are many other MC players who also have similar builds in their personnal worlds. ;-)
Since the bdubs waterfall in hermitcraft I’ve been looking for a great tutorial/tips for making them. These look insane Shadowknight. Thank you for posting this video 🙌🏼
i think the water blocks animation does a lot for how dynamic the waterfalls look, so i think combining water blocks and your technique will probably yield better results. Either by putting water blocks under or above (waterlogging) the glass/glasspanes/endrods
“The grey-rain curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a far green country under a swift sunrise.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King
@@ThatShadowknight That's the last paragraph of the book if I remember correctly, when finally the last Elven ship, bearing Frodo, reaches the shores of the undying land, whatever that means.
this is pretty cool only issue I have its that ordinary waterfalls are animated as opposed to your design which is stationary other than that I like it 👌
Using a Debug stick if you are able you can make the glass panes more floaty, also can use change the biomes for biome blend to transition the water colour I think the new pale garden biome has a Gray water colour
I meannnn bdubs been done this, but great explanation nonetheless 😅 *edit* a tip from the man himself, he also hides a moving water block underneath it to add the sound of water.

Yes, I've been holding my breath for months hoping nobody else releases a video with the same idea.
I predict you’re going to have 10k subs by the end of this year. Keep up the good work man
That might be a bit ambitious, but we'll see!
Suuper underrated, great vid and nice waterfalls!
Thanks!
your last video helped me a lot, and im shure this will to. great work
Glad to hear it!

Glad I could help!
this reminds me of the small waterfall bdubs made in hermitcraft, these are such beautiful waterfalls
Thanks! It was cool to see how Bdubs also used the same trick in HC, though it was only a matter of time.

Yes, pretty much the only way you can add movement to this method is campfires, which is a shame.
I SMELL UNDERREATED
Good nose.
Underrated, for men.
Yoo, this looks super cool! Nice job!
Great, thank you!

Is that from Frodo's dream?

Ah, yes.
@@ThatShadowknight I was reminded of this quote by your poetic glass waterfall.

Yes, it's an unfirtunate trade-off.

That works, though I try to keep most of these tips geared toward vanilla.
you can also use the particle command with command blocks if you really need that much detail
glad that i found your channel. Keep it up
Thanks!

Oh, that's smart.
looks sick
Thanks!
Nice trick!!
Thanks!
Nice
Bdubs the goat 🐐
I have to agree.
Where’s the water lil bro 😂
Just use a texture pack that makes the water white bro.
How many times did he say waterfalls
couldn't you just maje a resource pack for white water and install more particles mod?
But then all of your water is white.
Plus it's more beautiful using stained glass
ok
i thought this was gona be a mod, but no
W
These waterfalls look like white vomit in my opinion.

How many times did he say waterfalls
