    I used 5 tsp. henna with aloe and warm beet root juice (made with 8oz water and 1 tsp beet powder).
    It worked very well.
    I had to use leave in conditioner and castor oil. It was too tangled when I washed out the henna treatment. Most grays were covered!

    Beetroot is amazing for creating a lovely burgundy red colour shade with henna. When I am at home I use beetroot juice and when travelling beetroot powder to dye my hair. I also use hibiscus powder and sometimes pink pitaya dragon fruit powder. Love this video. Thanks

    I believe the clay helps to bring out deeper tones (not necessarily red, as it depends on the region) due to the high iron content. The redder the clay, the higher the iron. In my experience with your Rajasthani henna as well as other brands. I do see some truth to it. The burgundy appears to be much more prominent with the clay than without.
    It would be nice to see researchers invest in the effects of iron and henna since it’s such a long standing tradition in India.

    I would love to see how the colour is a month or 2 down the track as from what I have read about clays in henna mixes is the colour is very rich red to start with then fades to the copper henna colour as it washes out over time.

      Doing henna for the first time in the a.m I have 16oz brewed hibiscus tea. Along with hibiscus & beetroot powder. I also considered using tart cherry juice because I don't have any beet or cranberry juice for added color.

    I have tried fresh beetroot and hibiscus tea mixed with my henna. Idk if it worked because this was the first time I've ever tried henna either way my hair was beautiful.
    I've only tried hennasooq henna in my hair, I'm to nervous to try anything else because I can't guarantee that other companies don't have other chemicals in thier henna.

    I love using henna but I don't want to the copper tones on my grays. I am using Indigo with the treatment as well. Will the Moroccan henna work better than the Red Raj for eliminating the copper tones?

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello. It’s typically the indigo that reduces the copper tone. Using enough indigo will make it more brown, dark brown and even up to black tones.

    i use a small square tubby and dip my hair to remove as much as possible and i do it outside to throw the first two rinses, then i go inside to the tub and finish washing with co wash.
    has anybody had problems with the drain after using henna , it wont settle in the tubing and clog?
    i have also used beet water, but didnt see much of a difference. maybe i needed it more concentrated. but in that case i rather use beet powder.

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello! Yes, you may add coffee to your henna mixture. Eggs can coagulate and become difficult to rinse out of the hair, especially if hot water is used. Be prepared for a thorough rinsing process to remove all traces of the mixture.

      You can mix as many as you like but the more you add the less potent a specific herb it may be. You will have smaller amounts of benefits the more you add each individual herb.

      @@HennaSooq Agreed. The clay for example would appear to dilute the dye. This is why I think such videos are not really educational. The video maker needs to show one product in isolation and the effect on their hair, a difficult thing I know.
