I used 5 tsp. henna with aloe and warm beet root juice (made with 8oz water and 1 tsp beet powder).
It worked very well.
I had to use leave in conditioner and castor oil. It was too tangled when I washed out the henna treatment. Most grays were covered!
Beetroot is amazing for creating a lovely burgundy red colour shade with henna. When I am at home I use beetroot juice and when travelling beetroot powder to dye my hair. I also use hibiscus powder and sometimes pink pitaya dragon fruit powder. Love this video. Thanks
Welcome! ✨
i did try all that and never work for me on my gray, the mix looks great but even after 5 hours was more deep cooper than wine after i rinsed
@@hairholisticeco-friendlysa772thank you
Does it work well on black hair?
I believe the clay helps to bring out deeper tones (not necessarily red, as it depends on the region) due to the high iron content. The redder the clay, the higher the iron. In my experience with your Rajasthani henna as well as other brands. I do see some truth to it. The burgundy appears to be much more prominent with the clay than without.
It would be nice to see researchers invest in the effects of iron and henna since it’s such a long standing tradition in India.
I’m so excited to try beet powder the next time I dye my hair with henna! I always want a little more burgundy tones.
That's great!
I've been using hennasooq indigo with Moroccan henna for my grays!
80k 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 well deserved. And many more. Up to 1000k
Thank you so much! ✨
@@HennaSooq I am just seeing your videos. Can you use indigo to go black after putting henna in for a week? I thought henna would turn my blonde streak dark but it looks more ashy black now with blonde undertone
I want to try the beet root & aloe vera powder with the henna and see how that works
I want to try this recipe. Ive ised henna mixed with indigo, but indigo makes my scalp insanely itchy!
I would love to see how the colour is a month or 2 down the track as from what I have read about clays in henna mixes is the colour is very rich red to start with then fades to the copper henna colour as it washes out over time.
Fantastic channel ! 😇
Thank you very much!
Really interesting. I wonder if using beet juice instead of the tea. And also trying a strong hibiscus tea. I’ll definitely give it a try.
Definitely!
Doing henna for the first time in the a.m I have 16oz brewed hibiscus tea. Along with hibiscus & beetroot powder. I also considered using tart cherry juice because I don't have any beet or cranberry juice for added color.
Lo You can’t “beet” that lol😂
I love Red Raj. Next time I henna my hair I will try beetroot because I absolutely love my red gray streaks 😊
I have tried fresh beetroot and hibiscus tea mixed with my henna. Idk if it worked because this was the first time I've ever tried henna either way my hair was beautiful.
I've only tried hennasooq henna in my hair, I'm to nervous to try anything else because I can't guarantee that other companies don't have other chemicals in thier henna.
Hello. We're glad that it worked!
Will the color come out
I love using henna but I don't want to the copper tones on my grays. I am using Indigo with the treatment as well. Will the Moroccan henna work better than the Red Raj for eliminating the copper tones?
Hello. It’s typically the indigo that reduces the copper tone. Using enough indigo will make it more brown, dark brown and even up to black tones.
@@HennaSooq Thank you.
@@HennaSooq which henna do you think work better coloring grey hair?
i use a small square tubby and dip my hair to remove as much as possible and i do it outside to throw the first two rinses, then i go inside to the tub and finish washing with co wash.
has anybody had problems with the drain after using henna , it wont settle in the tubing and clog?
i have also used beet water, but didnt see much of a difference. maybe i needed it more concentrated. but in that case i rather use beet powder.
I have beetroot powder!
Perfect!
Hi I am from Gaithersburg Md. is it possible to make a appointment with you. Thank you
Hello. For hair and body art consultations you can book both virtual and in person consults here: hennasooq.com/pages/bookings
What henna is best for grey hair @henna sooq?
Usually Red Raj and it'll be back in stock by August. If you can't wait for this one, then the next best choices are here: hennasooq.com/collections/grey-coverage
@@HennaSooq thank you that's what I usually get. I asked for a notification when the red raj us back in stock. I can't wait so I can get another haul. Have a blessed day!
Mam I wan a ask u can i add coffee in heena?
And second questions should i add egg in heena mixture ?
Hello! Yes, you may add coffee to your henna mixture. Eggs can coagulate and become difficult to rinse out of the hair, especially if hot water is used. Be prepared for a thorough rinsing process to remove all traces of the mixture.
@@HennaSooq thank u so much
Can I use beetroot powder, does it work the same as fresh ?
I used 1 tsp. of the powder in 8oz. of warm water.
@@mlmbeliever thank you 😊
Can I ADD SALT,LEMON,BLACK TEA AND COFFEE?
Hello. You can find more information here on what liquids to add: hennasooq.com/blogs/frontpage/the-good-and-the-bad-how-liquids-affect-your-henna-recipe
If Henna cant be used on relaxed hair, we need to educate others, so many women love my color, but always mention that had bad experiences with breakage. Please share relaxed or gray coverage. Thanks
Hello. Absolutely. Thank you as well
I used henna on relaxed hair for years with no issues.
Is it possible to turn black hair to medium brown hair using henna? And how?
Hello. Yes, for brown tones, we recommend these products to start with: hennasooq.com/collections/brown-henna-hair-dye
Will the Beetroot work on the hair
Hello! Yes, it'll work on the hair.
To much things
The difficulty here is she's adding too many things. It's impossible to know whether certain ingredients have any positive effect.
You can mix as many as you like but the more you add the less potent a specific herb it may be. You will have smaller amounts of benefits the more you add each individual herb.
@@HennaSooq Agreed. The clay for example would appear to dilute the dye. This is why I think such videos are not really educational. The video maker needs to show one product in isolation and the effect on their hair, a difficult thing I know.
