      I own the Toyota camry 2015 n it’s a very comfortable car to drive I recently bought it 2 months ago give or take so I can’t say much about it just yet. I’m still getting to know my car.. one thing I’m tryna figure out is if my Toyota camry 2015 has an engine start remote..

      +Eddy Boh - Hahahah you are right. She totally ignores the hydraulic hood on the Camry. Still I like this review video and she did a good job.
      Notice the hydraulic hood on the Camry. In Honda you have to snap the stand in place. 2:55

      I don't like hydraulic lifters. My old 96 Camry had those and it wore out. I always had to use a clothes rack to hold the hood open afterwards.

      Michael Nguyen I've driven both cars and I perfer the accord. I also like the way the accord looks more. The camry is an amazing car as well though. The fact is both of these cars are near perfect mid size sedans. You can't go wrong either way.

    She moves her hands ALOT. Lol anyways I have a 2009 Honda Accord and 2009 Camry with both 200k on them. I have not had a single issue with my Camry keeping up with regular maintenance of course, but with my Honda there has been just random issues with it over time. Toyota's are bulletproof and the current design of the new Toyota's puts it above the Honda for me.

      Various ya I was really disappointed in my beauty of a Honda Accord. $7,000 in repair and still had to just give up! We bought another Toyota because besides tires and oil changes o have never had to repair a Toyota and I've owned 6

  • @elkillerx
    @elkillerx 8 ปีที่แล้ว +19

    I always preferred Toyota. I used to have a 98 Camry V6 with over 280,000 and still ran strong and never needed any big repairs, of course I always serviced it myself. On the other hand I've personally witnessed many accords with 200,000 having head gasket problems or transmissions shifting very hard.

    Let's be real here, the Camry is the better bang for buck, power seats, automatic windows, touchscreen display, more room/storage and her face when the Hood went up using the hydraulics killed her, and she prefers the accord because it has fake plastic chrome on the steering wheel?

    I have had a late 90's camry and accord and put a lot of miles on them both, the accord had random problems more than the camry during it's lifetime. And due to the problems with the accord i traded it in and bought a 2016 camry Se and stil have my old camry. Honda's are Awesome, but Toyota's are supreme in my opinion.

    I really enjoyed this video, but both of these models were the base model. Plus, Honda just redesigned the Accord. Could you do a 2017 Honda Accord Touring Sedan V6 vs a 2017 Toyota Camry XSE V6 or XLE V6? Also, could you do a review on the 2017 Honda Accord Touring Coupe V6 please? Laura, I love your comparison test.
    Your attention to the details and accessories is really right on.
    I know you don't want to hear this but my choice would be the camry.
    It is more of a comfortable daily driver and gives one a feeling of greater substance over all. Accord is great but to me the Camry tips the scale on its side. Just my opinion.

    Camry is better and you didn't mention many major things about the 2015 Camry!
    1. It has fog lights while the accord doesn't!2. It has rear split seats while the accord doesn't!3. The base model accord comes standard with Manual transmission while the Camry doesn't. You have to pay $2K extra to get it to be Automatic. 4. More rear seat headroom compared to the Honda Accord.5. Toyota Camry's transmission is much better compared to the CVT in the Honda Accord. 6. Toyota Camry's live much longer than Honda Accords. Proof needed? Just look at the older years..
    ^ I guess that's enough to make the camry better! I bet you're just being payed by Honda to make that accord better. But the truth is here!

      One other thing is maintenance. I use any fluid brand in my 18 years old Camry's engine and transmission and still runs. With Honda you are better off using OEM transmission fluid and needs more frequent intake cleaning. The only advantage I see in Honda is gas mileage and better acceleration.

    Everyone in the comments are just mad cause Laura obviously chose the better car. What did they expect when they saw a person who works for Honda comparing it to another car? Lol But anyways the Accord looks better, much more elegant looking. The Camry isn't bad & is nice too. But I think the Accord looks much better especially the 2016 refreshed one :). I love my 2011 Honda Accord EX-L V6 and I still think it looks better than the 2015 Camry. #TeamHonda always! & watch the haters disagree lol

    • @wahadbham

      I go with you all the way. when I parents where out looking for small crossover in 2014 they went Toyota to look at the RAV4 LE and went to Honda to look at the CR-V LX. my parents chose the CR-V LX. we owned 2 Hondas in the past both driven over 135k miles one was a 2008 Honda Odyssey EX-L and a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L in my opinion the 2008 accord we had still looks like it's a 21st century mid-size sedan. the only problem we had the the accord and odyssey was the leather Quality was terrible the started ripping at 75K miles. The accord looks way better than the Camry in my opinion The quality wise the materials and the car is ten times the Camry. and Honda cost less then Toyota because Toyota will get expensive by adding packages to there car

    Truth be told--I've always been a big fan of Hondas. I started with a Toyota, but I use to own nothing but Hondas in the 90's to mid 2000's mainly because they are a bit more stylish looking...until I had a major breakdown on my 2003 Accord back in 2006 (new engine needed or 3k worth of damage on a 3 yr old car). From there, I switched back to a used 2005 Camry, giving up looks for quality. Then traded it for a 2010 Camry just for upgrades sake and now I own a 2015 Camry, again just for upgrades sake. Never any problems and never looked back ever since, just your normal maintenance. Toyota's a proven maker for quality, no matter how you look at it. When you're young and want to look cool, you get the Honda, but as you get older and want to give up the stress, you gotta go with the Toyota...trust me on this.

    Sorry, but I would take the Toyota Camry over the Honda any day of the week, NOT because I don't like Honda, but because of the experience that I have with my Toyota. I own a 98 Camry and even with 225K on it, it just an EXTREMELY enjoyable car to drive. So with that being said, and with the new technology that is in the new Camry, I'm SURE that I would LOVE the new Camry even more. Not to mention that my Camry is one VERY tough built car. I was put in the ditch by someone that almost hit me head on and the only thing that I had to fix was a bent wheel. I drive 40 miles one way to work and even after being put in the ditch, I can still let go of the wheel going down the interstate, and my Camry still holds a PERFECTLY straight line. The LITTLE "CHROME" pieces that are mentioned here in the video doesn't really matter other than for looks. "LOOKS" aren't going to add "value" to the fact that the car is not only built TOUGH but also give you your money's worth over time.

    I drove both cars and the one that I couldn't stay away from was the Camry XSE love the sport suspension it has, and the shifting paddles it has too. it gives you the power and feel of a true manual transmission, caution you must keep your eye on the needle if you use it, you could RED line you engine, but that said I love the fact that I have both automatic and manual without moving the shifter to manual at all plus XSE Model comes with 18" alloy wheels and low profile tires P225 45 R18 91 Bridgestone tires. after tax, tags, paint protection, bumper to bumper warranty that covers my rims and tires too for 10 years 100,000 I got it for $27,575. that's the 2015 Toyota Camry XSE

    Accord comes with stupid noisy CVT trans. , road noise , bad susspenion , bancing on highway , very very very stupid sound system with 4 speakers cause speakers cover vibrate as whole the interior door , bad braking ..but better shap / screen esp ex models , bad steering , comes with nitrogen tires , fuel eco , i dont like the engine sound after 10 k its feel like beside me
    for me accord 7/10

    you made a very nice comparison between the two cars, but as the wise Indian said, there is more to a melon than just the color of the skin, you really should also include some of the mechanical advantages and disadvantages of the cars, for example the accord has a belt driven cam, (from what I have heard) which needs to be changed at 60k miles, kinda expensive. The accord also needs tranny oil changes at every 15k miles, I also like the accord, but it is like a high maintenance girlfriend.

    What do you think about the 2015 Honda Civic ex compared to Toyota Corolla S model ? Which one is a better deal?

    • @HerbChambersHondaofSeekonk
      @HerbChambersHondaofSeekonk  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      David Kramer Civic all the way: Better fuel economy, more HP, moon roof, alloy wheels and more. Corolla S is nice and has a nice look to it, content is a bit light. This is just my opinion Corolla has had great deal of success and we are not discounting the value. Thanks for asking. Honda Laura :)

    Just bought a Camry SE 2017, and trust me it's more than just stylish and comfortable than Honda Accord. eve my friends who had 2016 Honda Accord love Camry SE, it's just tops seller and favorite car in the U.S. well both are, but Camry stays on top.
    It doesn't just come down to car, but also the customer service and packages.
    Great review though.

    lets give accord an advantage over camry for having little chrome circles around the steering wheel buttons and not give an advantage to camry over accord for having powered driver's seat. Oh and she forgot to mention that she doesn't have to even move her head to check all the information on the screen cos its visible on camry right next to the speedometer.

    don't get me wrong though as a honda hater because I'm not. I love honda. My previous car before was a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. I love it! Awesome in gas! 45 mpg. Never left me stranded. Let it go in 2012 so that somebody will enjoy it's awesome fuel economy. I was looking towards the accord but I think Camry is safer. But either or, you'll never go wrong with these two midsize titans. Thanks HL!

    Pretty good review. You guys should compare the XSE v6 camry against the v6 accord. That will definitely get rid of the floaty feeling.A few remarks
    1) The toyota camry has had projector beam housing since 2007. In 2015 they now have LED headlight and LED fog lights optional.
    The chrome thing is in the eye of the beholder. Some people like chrome, some don't.
    2) She didn't say anything how the camry has hood struts and the accord just has the hood prob.
    3)She did not compare the accord trunk space because the camry's trunk is huge.

    • @HerbChambersHondaofSeekonk
      @HerbChambersHondaofSeekonk  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      tim allen Thanks for sharing Tim, I like your points we'll look into those. As far as the hood prop goes I would rather have the prop because the shocks wear out over time. The videos become very long if we include everything, we would love to fit it all in but that would be a motion picture. Thanks again! Stay tuned. ;)) Honda Laura

      +Joseph Griveas because the XSE very redefined but very sporty. CVT transmission on the accord I can't stand it. Other then that the 2016** accord looks WAY better then the Camry... BUT the XSE has leather and suede seats, super nice wheels, blue DRL lights, very aggressive especially V6
