Barn Find= Been sitting... Sludge trap debris hardens, modern oils dislodge the debris in trap= motor blows up. The trap should be cleaned and an oil filter installed
the inside of this motor looks great and the oil that was drained out looked used but not dirty. ive changed the oil after a few hundred miles and it looks fine.
First of all you have to brake the clutch plates free. And yes priming the cylinder with fuel helps it start easier. It’s not a stock bike. Every motorcycle has its own personality
@@ogribiker8535 guessing you don’t know how an internal combustion engine works. British or otherwise it’s just an air pump. Rotation of the engine creates vacuum drawing air/ fuel mix into the cylinder whether the ignition is on or not. If you can explain your comment please do.

The bike is raked, the carb's are at the back, fuel will piss out the air filter way before it gets anywhere near the cylinder. Just admit you don't do British bikes and move on, I have, goodbye twat.
