It is so encouraging to follow your journey! Your decluttering muscles have gotten so strong. I'm especially proud to see you toss old stuff like the eye shadow. Keep up the good work and your positive attitude!

I converted to a menstrual cup and reusable pads during covid and it was the best thing ever. I save so much not having to buy pads or tampons.

In think your on a roll! I do have a sugestion 😄 I know you love the boxes of the pallets, you said that in previous video's. Have you considered letting them go this time? You explain that putting things back needs to be quick and easy with ADHD. It's not with the boxes still on. Maybe give it another thought this time? Think about it. (sorry if my spelling is not correct, I'm not a native speaker).

Menstrual cups are great. It's all I use now! It took me about 6 months to wean off using pads/tampons, so give yourself a lot of grace in the beginning to get used to them. There is definitely a learning curve.

I use washable pads. It seemed too much of a hassle to get the cup to work. After 3 different styles, I've given up. My pelvis tilt prevents a good seal.

Very encouraging! Look into the mirror with LED lighting surround when you’re ready to renovate. Meanwhile, you can scrub the floor with a mixture of borax and vinegar it will look lighter.

Recommendation on a menstrual cup! I used to use the diva cup but after having babies I found it uncomfortable. I purchased a saalt cup and it’s awesome!
    Nice job decluttering!

Love love love! I see so much of myself in these videos ..the caboodle, the morphe makeup pallets that are expired but so beautiful so it’s hard to let go of .. all the “pretty” things that can quickly clutter a place if we don’t keep it in check..well done!!! 😊thank you for the inspiration to keep de-cluttering!!

Have you watched the documentary "Minimalism about the important things?"
th-cam.com/video/0Co1Iptd4p4/w-d-xo.html here is the trailer. I think it can help. I hate clutter but sometimes I hold on to clothes I no longer use but after watching this I hate to do that and I declutter regularly.

Way to go on the bathroom declutter! I love how quickly you can go through things and make decisions about what to do with the items. 🤩
Suggestion for trash: a little larger trash can, don't put trash anywhere but the trash can, and put "empty bathroom trash" on your revised Flylady reminder list!

Nice job! Don't be embarrassed...but it actually is a good sign that it bothers you. That will help you stay on top of it more. You may have to add clear nail polish to the very bottom edge of your soap container and let it dry before putting it back.

Loving seeing the old tossed out and the new brought in! ELF and The Ordinary are my two favorite affordable products. The mensural cup has by far been one of the best investments I've made! Been using one for 3 years and I haven't bought a pad or tampon since!

  • @ladydragon76

I just discovered Flex Discs! They have the disposable kind (which I got to try first) and then a reusable. I personally can't use the cups myself, so if the cup doesn't quite work, just those rings/discs! It's a GAME CHANGER for me. *cheers on your awesome progress!*

I can't believe you let those pallets go (and the perfume in the previous episode) with such ease!! I know you've come a long way but wow, that felt like a huge step forward. A few years back there's no way in a million years you'd have let them go and now you didn't even deliberate over it. So proud of you!

      @nenemaria-cornfieldsgarden 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

P.s I've used a menstrual cup for about 15 years now and would never go back. It does take a bit of getting used to, the first couple of months can be a learning curve but I'm so glad I stuck with it. It's far less fuss once you get used to it. Would recommend giving it a go.

The bathroom looks amazing. Good job! I love how much easier it is to declutter a room now as apposed to 3 years ago. Week long projects are down to hours for a whole room! Love it.
1 habit to brake that will save you so much time in the long run is throwing trash straight in the garage and not putting it down to throw out later. Trash goes directly in the garbage.
I kept finding trash in my kids room and realized they don't have a trash can in there room. I put one in and the trash problem instantly stopped.

    Wonderful!
I created a list in Google keep with pictures and names in text on things I wanted to get again so I could throw old/empty ones out without fearing I would’t remember or remember wrong. Especially helpful for my nailpolish, love Isadora but many colors look similar in the bottle but different when used but they have numbers ontop so I know I’m getting the right one.
I love Google keep as sometimes you just want to add Quick and move on and adding pictures does that for me.
Something similar might help you. For starters creating a folder on your Phone that you can just add to then toss products away. Take picture, add text later.

Omg! I actually took a towel and covered up my horrific bathroom stuff on the floor...AND half of my counter. It took 3 regular towels to cover up what I didn't want to deal with. Because I had a guest coming. It's stayed cover even as I write this. Sadly I've been going to 'redo' my bathroom for at least 5 yes. Now I am determined to have it by the end of 2 weeks from today. 🤞😉❤

Just another random makeup FYI: the Too Faced Life’s a Festival palette (unicorn one) came out and only sold during the 2018 year. The Too Faced Erika Jayne Pretty Mess palette came out in 2019 and only sold for that year as well. Don’t just throw them away when you’re done, though! They’re collectible to some people, used or not! There are a quite a few Too Faced collectors out there!

Well that looks a lot better and your decluttering muscles are so developed now! Referencing previous videos where your mother gives u a giant make-up kit for your birthday, or maybe Christmas, perhaps ask if this year you could go to a spa/ get Ur nails done etc, maybe together, as you certainly have enough pallets to get u thru another year or 2. Help maintain the great momentum you've got going.

One way we declutter bathroom extras is have a use up bin. We haven't bought shampoo in ages, because we had bought a few bottles on sale during pandemic. They are all together now we add water to them because it is really thick. Depression idea.😁 Also, we don't buy more until it is gone.

I've tried cups twice and it leaked within the first hour. I gave up because it's so expensive. The period panties they have at Walmart work great! Me and my 12 yr old daughter have both used them. Look where they have the pads and the underwear sections. I would wear it when you try the cup for leaks. Sometimes I just use them with tampons. It has completely cut out my need for panty liners! I am in perimenopause and am passing my underwear down to my daughter. Lol

Wow! How huge to recognize old products you no longer use or haven’t used in a long time.
The bathroom looks great! I bet peel and stick tiles would work well in here. You can grout them to make them look even more real.
I keep my female products out of the box in two baskets. I find it’s easier to see how many tampons and pads I have when they are out of the box in their own basket.
cup advice- each woman is shaped differently. It took my friend 5 different cups before she found one that fit her body. The diva cup isn’t a good fit if someone has prolapse, they would need a more shallow fitting cup.

No suction, it just sits in there under the cervix, you don't feel it, its soft, it holds way more, I could go on and on. I liked it so much I got my sister one for Christmas because I knew she wouldn't spend the money to try it out with no guarantee. I also love Thinx for nighttime. They make super high absorbency thinx. I like the hip huggers the most. Its great not to have to buy and store tampons and pads!

I bought a few different generic menstrual cups on Amazon and love them. They do have a learning curve but stick with it. I do use pads and tampons on occasion still but the savings are amazing.

Love your journey! The “tossy-tossy” sounds so cute and most importantly very kind to hoarding minds. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Ms Heart! I notice you have some trouble throwing things you know are trash away like wrappers. Im wondering if you need to move the trashcan to a move visible and easily accessible place in the bathroom?

A lot of menstrual cup choosing is trial and error. What is AMAZING for some may not work for you and you won't know until you use it. Just a heads up to avoid frustration.

I bought the diva cup BACK in the day when you had to order it from the back of a Magazine! Used it for years - you will still need some disposable products for just in case /traveling etc sodon’t get rid of everything until you know what you will use.
Also please don’t diffuse oil around the cat/ or other pets/ babies etc - it is a very serious issue - you can poison the cat - you need to really know what you are doing with those oils -and most people don’t! And there is a lot of contradictory info out there so very hard to know - just don’t do it
