I just scooped up the full collection on Ebay. 39 years old, long time UC Gundam fan. First anime i got into. I'm finshing up volume 13 of Berserk and going to start Gundam tomrrow or the next day
The series can be a hit or miss, depending on if you are a fan of the franchise. I came from the anime so my opinion might be considered biased for that reason. But the art is flawless and the plot is awesome. I like most of the characters. I can say Char Azanable is like one for the best villain/ant-hero. I would say give the first volume a try Thanks
Yeah it’s in the same timeline, Universal Century is the timeline in which Mobile suit gundam the orgin is set, and many more series share this timeline. Also, there are alternative time lines like Mobile suit Gundam 00. Hope that helps.
@@ironicallynarcissistic833 the manga is a good gateway into the franchise. You could also watch Gundam 00 (double o) without prior knowledge, it is set in its own world. It’s good to start with the manga and move to some of the anime in the same time line (universal century). There are sites that give a good watching order as well.

quick question is Mobile Suit Gundam origin and Mobile Suit Gundam (Universal Century) the same thing?!!?
Yeah it’s in the same timeline, Universal Century is the timeline in which Mobile suit gundam the orgin is set, and many more series share this timeline. Also, there are alternative time lines like Mobile suit Gundam 00. Hope that helps.
