New layout #2 for March 2024 (1st layout was only 1 wk old that had to be changed to open up the track a bit for racing. We changed the layout on Friday, 3/15 and fast lap was set at 7.21 that night. My personal fast lap was 7.24 with the ARES-1 body. I was able to get 7.14 the next day. Couple of changes to the car: I used Mako GT to set the fast lap and battery charged at 1.5a vs 0.70a on Friday night. I think I can match the 7.1 with the battery charged at .70a. The noticeable difference was the body because of the rear was more planted with the Mako in the chicane. The ARES-1 body looses rear side bite in the chicane and I can’t commit in this section of the track.
Car is: RX28 G1 (with G2 Plate)
Motor: PN v3 3500
ECS: GL-SD-ESC-010T (Blinky)
Battery: GNB Green Pack - Charged @1.5a.
Body: Mako GT

Have you compared the Catfish to the Mako yet? I personally love the Catfish. It just makes my 3500 feel super smooth and easy to drive.

What Gear ratio are you running? Also do you make any esc adjustment like turbo and boost ect...?
For my 2500 and 3500 car, I mostly just run 13T pinion and 53T spur. My ESC on all cars are on blinky mode. No turbo, boost.
Makes me want to get back into mini z .. what little led pit light is that?
I got back last year after 11 years of no Mini Z (R/C in general) and its been super fun! Especially these new 28th scale kit cars and the new Kyosho MR04 EVO2.
