Mike Winger is my absolute favorite apologetics teachers. His teaching has helped me immensely in my own walk. He has been given a gift by the Lord for sure.
Know and cherish the Word of God! I grew up in the church, didn’t know my bible and met these guys (“Church of God”) on campus. The Lord answered my prayer for truth and showed me the folly of this cult... I pray he may save many others out of their deception through this video!
Haha you guys are so foolish. They have the truth, you all just don’t have the ear to hear it. I made them prove everything and they did. Knowing all this opened my eyes. You all are the ones that are liars, going to church on Sunday when the Bibe tells us every clear to go on the 7TH day, the Sabbath Day which is Saturday. You all do nothing that the Bibe tells you to do. What a bunch of hypocrites. You love the Lord with your lip not with your heart because if you loved him with your heart you would follow his commands and one more thing, the reason you got anxiety when you enter the building is because the demons that are inside you were scared and wanted to leave as soon as possible because we are the true Church Of God Elohim. Hope you take the time to actually sit down and Study and maybe your eyes will be open like mine did.
Grew up in this church as a little girl and left when I was 16. Finally found Jesus Christ about 4 years ago. Can't wait for A documentary to come out about it
I went to this church when I first started seeking Jesus for like 2 days. I read Matthew 24 and gave my life to Jesus and harshly rebuked these heretics!
A girl came up to me at a local community college in Arizona a few years ago who was part of this group. She tried to start debating me but anytime I tried to bring something up she just talked over me louder and louder. I never heard of her group before that interaction, and hadn't seen anyone else talk about them until this. Thanks!!
I experienced something similar on my way home from when I was in the Philippines. Two men asked if I had known about "God the mother" They then proceeded to bring out points from Revelation to prove their assertions. The verses were blatantly out of context. After listening to them, I called him out on his disregard of context. I explained that the book revelation uses imagery and not to be taken literally. But when I did this, he then began to talk louder and louder rather than refute any of my arguments.
Gotta give it to them (wmscog)...when it comes to zeal to preach, few can match them. A useful lesson here: a person's conviction that a certain biblical teaching is true is no guarantee that it is true.
I was approached by them recently and they were so nice at first so I gave them a chance. Although, I already have much knowledge about the Bible I was looking for Bible studies on campus. Once I caught wind of what they believe and who they call Christ, I started asking questions and explaining how the Bible doesn't line up with what they were trying to teach me. The person they assigned to study with me put me on the phone with her mentor and she was so unkind to me and I began to press them hard on their false teachings and eventually they all just ghosted me.
Lets hope that with all that pressing you did some of them begin to doubt that Church's teachings. Also one of the creepiest things i experienced when i was having a text debate with one of their members was that he LITERALLY DID not give me a resource from outside their WEBSITE. I told him how come you only use these sources. He claimed his church is the only place with the truth. I jumped on that and asked so what were people believing before Ahn came to start this church. He said a false god. I said so YOU are willing to say everyone after the first church and before YOUR church is suffering in hell right now because they didn't believe the truth? He couldn't answer me properly.
I recently went to a A few Bible studies with them. They started by pointing out I’m celebrating the wrong sabbath and should be celebrating the festivals. They showed me scriptures that made me question why my church was not. They were very careful to not theybelieve or give me the name of their church. I’m a born again believer that had been away from church since Covid and was not in the Bible for about a year. Needless to say a Bible study drew me in. They’re teaching made me fearful and made me question if what I thought was biblical or what I was taught in church. Needless to say I started reading my Bible again. I stayed skeptical but continued to go because with every teaching they gave I wanted to find the truth in my Bible . Here are some things that should make you question y their church. 1. They are not straight forward in what they believe when they approach you. 2. You can not attend a service until you get baptized in the name of Jehovah, Jesus, and who they believe is second coming Christ. 3. They would never send me scriptures to study their truth from the Bible and never answered my questions based on scripture against their teachings. 4. They dismiss the holy spirit if you have not received it from their church. 5. They claim to hold the book of life, that they write your name in. ( I actually told them that is cute) The next time I came for a study she went over the book of life in scripture and I realized they were dead serious in believing they have the authority to put someone in the book of life. 6. God the mother????? Believe me there are many other red flags.
I was approached by one of their members. I asked them questions and they just simply ask me to attend their Bible study and learn more about their religion. They thought I'm judging them already and do not want to speak with me. I could have done better in discussing it with them with more love and speak the truth.
Wow. I'm Korean and they are pretty big in Korea (it is a Korean "church"...). Something interesting is that many of these cults - Moonies, Church of God, Shincheonji, JMS, etc. - are born in Korea and it's amazing (not in a good way) to see that they actually expand to the whole world -... and I also wonder why are so many cults are born in Korea.
Yes these people came up to me at HEB, I was interested at first becuase I though they were going to tell me the Gospel but they started saying Jesus came back in 1938 and there’s two God one the father and one a mother . Goodness
These guys are always at my school preaching about god the mother, Mike Winger really helped me understand what they believe and how to show them that what they believe is heresy, can’t wait for the vid.
God's WORDS ARE the bible and they are the only words that matter. You can persuade people with words, but it's just talk and words for MONEY AND FOLLOWERS if there is NO BIBLICAL FOUNDATION.
I was a member of this cult for about 9 months,I was completely brain washed, and constantly anxious, because they told me I wasn't doing enough and I had to do more, thankfully my friends and family helped me leave
How are you convinced to leave my friend just joined this church and she’s immensely brainwashed bad I don’t know what to say to her to get her to leave
@@torigann3485 it's hard, you have to be there for her the best way possible, send her as many articles as possible, at some point they will convince her to cut you off,but don't give up,that's what my friends and family did for me,I almost lost all of my friends
was 17 yrs old in my 2nd yr of college about to enter campus, was approached by a young lady around 5 years older than me and asked if i knew god the mother. i was honestly curious, went along with the lady after class to their place (i dunno why i didn't even think about being easily abducted and sold for prostitution which sadly happens extremly often in the philippines). first day seemed normal a lotta short bible verse references heavily focused on beliefs like statues is a form of idolatry and their ceremonies pretty tame. i was extremely skeptic and bombarding her with questions. nothing seemed abnormal cause i know there are other religions that have similar beliefs and not far compared to what was taught growing up in religion class cause she kept on referencing the bible. the second day was when they dropped the bomb and told me that GOD THE MOTHER WAS A KOREAN WOMAN WHO WAS CURRENTLY ALIVE. i wanted to leave right there and then but i felt scared. it crossed my mind that they could easily imprison or kill me if i didn't agree cause i was alone in a house which was headquarters or something. i just ended up going along with it and THEY BAPTIZED ME THE SAME DAY! i was seriously confused when it was happening. it felt so wrong cause i didn't believe a thing but was pretending to get it over with and get tf out of the house. the baptism was in a huge bathtub looking thing in a bathroom. i thought while it was happening "does this even count?" cause i don't believe anything they said. i was extremely scared that they might lock me in cause nobody knew i was there (cause they mentioned the day before that i should not mention it to anyone even family or friends cause a lotta people are close minded and negative red flag but im dumb) if i didnt go thru with it. when i went home i blocked their numbers and i was constantly stealthy otw to campus for 2 weeks. i never told it to anyone cause it was an embarrassing weird unexplainable experience and i know anyone who hears my story would say i was dumb to go with a stranger to a house in the first place (sexual assault and murder is high here in our country). 4 years later i was watching documentaries on yt and ended up on cults and then it sinked it that it was a cult. i feel shookt and so dumb to only realize it after 4 years it happened, i just thought they were weird people and didn't know what a cult was at that time 🤦🏻♀️
Wow.. great that you got away without incodent. This is all the more reason to read your Bible n get wisened up with the Truth before being preyed upon again by spiritual vampires.
I KNOW! My online worlds keep colliding & it freaks me out. I'm convinced all these "internet people" live in a giant commune where they all know each other!
This is so scary I’m doing research on this church because my best friend has become completely brain washed by these people I’ve gone to a couple of their lessons just to make him happy and they really are trying to get this into my mind idk how to help my friend they completely have him under control and they encourage him to get his friends to join the church mind you we are all minors... I think they are targeting us because we might be more gullible then other people.
Please please be reading your Bible! Get your friend to read his too! Maybe send him this video. In my mind, if they think that guy Onsong was Jesus but they are changing his teaching and saying he was wrong then that refutes it right there.
As an ex member of this church. I would suggest you to spend some more time with your friend and make sure you tell him that you care about him. Do Not speak against the church , because new recruits are told to cut off anyone who speaks against the church.
@@it9634 First know why they believe what they believe. Like actually know the prophecies and verses. then maybe you can understand why all the members try and hold onto their faith as much as they can.
Praise God for sound doctrine!!! 😀 Paul writing to Timothy... "Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers." 1 Timothy 4:13-16 ESV
@@Dream-bebe I lost my family to this Cult. I was married for 11 years and I came home last Thursday and she and the 2 girls were gone. They moved to CA and she got a job and apt all behind my back. This all happened after I told her I would never attend the church. 2 weeks later she left. I was working out of town for 3.5 years and coming home each weekend to let our youngest go to the HS she wanted. They never missed a Saturday or Tuesday and I always came last. I honestly think it was the best thing for me but they
my sister is part of this. they send her out to recruit other people. she's been in for almost a decade. i've learned about the stories of ex-members and that arranged marriages happen. i believe my sister is in one as she married someone that was her acquaintance at the time.
I love this video for one specific reason. Mike winger and the Cultish team have pretty different theological stances on alot of subjects but they are able to set their differences aside and have a very productive and sobering conversation
Like Mike always says, we're all brothers and sisters in Christ as long as we believe the core doctrine of Jesus'cleansing blood. The secondary issues can be debated and disagreed on without it affecting our core beliefs. I'm premillennial myself and definitely not Calvinist but good bible teaching is good bible teaching and apologia is good even if I disagree with some of their beliefs.
I was approached by one of these people today, he started off very nice and left very angry! Thank God that I knew enough of my word to refute his points!
So grateful to find this video. I was just approached by a member of this church. I live in a small town in the south so most churches are Baptist or their beliefs I no longer connect with but talking to the young lady they seem more aligned with my biblical knowledge than most of the churches in the area but after a bad cult like experience years ago I'm very cautious of whom I associate with. So I immediately Googled and again I'm thankful for the info.
I was in this organization for 9 years. It was hard for me when getting out, because I couldn't relate with the idea that I just needed to find the "right" church, and that WMSCOG was just not a "true" Christian church. The thing is I was agnostic when I joined, I didn't believe in Christianity. So arguing about whether or not it was truly Christian was a point that made no sense to me. I'm glad there was one resource available when I left that was not Christian based. That being said, I really appreciate what you all are doing, because as you said, resources in general are not available! This organization is ruthless and intelligent. It is a highly sophisticated organization. You are providing a valuable resource to Christian people who get sucked in. I am SO happy to see this, because you are helping people get out. When you speak about learning what they teach so you can approach members from the world that they're in, that is THE WAY! THIS is how you get people out. And getting people out is what matters. Please keep getting people out. I was a person who helped to try and battle people like you. There's a whole department just for battling people who are helping to expose this organization, and that department will give certain members tasks to help to this end. Now that I'm out and have had some time to deal with the trauma of it, I am trying to do my part, (especially now that a judge has ruled the NDA's are unenforceable), so that people like me who may not be otherwise religious can have resources to escape. I have all the truth books. And some of the sermon books. Also the new song books and etc. I want to mention that just like they have changed the truth books and new song books (and continue to) to support their morphing dogma, they change everything to suit their needs. For example they changed imaging to show themselves as more family friendly over the past few years (as you said they have routinely (at least while I was a member) encouraged abortions and discouraged children, because the world was going to end at any time and we needed to focus on the gospel. Due to the lawsuits, investigations, and public backlash they have put great effort into appearing family friendly. And I could go on! Like the volunteering aspect. Psh. We were reminded that the volunteering was just to bring glory to God (Mother) so that more people could come to Zion and be saved, but it didn't really matter as the earth was going to be destroyed at any moment. Later that transformed, (especially with the growth of the the We Love You foundation) to having to bring glory to Mother so she can win the Nobel Peace prize. And it goes on. As far as why they are evangelism heavy. Yes. It is correct that we were told not to evangelize to certain people, people who would not advance the gospel (advance financially, and as far as labor is concerned). In the beginning as a new member another sister and I were hurt and confused by this, and brought up what Jesus did. The leader of our church said "I am not Jesus" AND he told us then that those people would be saved in the end. But you know, as time goes on and you're not a new member, you start to be told the real reasons for things. It's not sugar coated anymore. At that time I had only been a member (baptised) for about a year, but I had only been an active participant for a few months. Later on we were told point blank to preach to white people, because we didn't have enough white people in our church and it looked bad (for photos white people would be brought to the front!), and to preach to people who looked like they had money so they could support Zion. Professionals. It was okay if they were in their 50s: college kids were for grunt work, established people were for finances. I remember them boasting when August, (he was a deacon by the time I left) emptied out his 401K to give to the church. He was preached to at one of our events (the purpose of the events) and the story was told over and over as an example of what we should aspire to. Good God. But while evangelism was important to bring in money and expand, especially with lack of children, there were people who were given the blessing to care for and indoctrinate the children that did come. This was my blessing. I did love those kids like my own (as much as one can say that) but also these kids basically never saw their parents, so those of this with this blessing understood the magnitude of our position. This organization thought of everything. ALSO children had to give offerings as well, or they would be cursed. This is what the parents were told. We had to keep track of who did not give an offering. Besides tithing, (and the brown envelope, the food offering, the committee offering, the overseas offering, and so on) you could not come before God (for service) empty handed. Everyone was supposed to give a "free will" offering at service, the very lowest level of offering. If the child was an infant then the parent just needed to give the offering with their own. Once they were old enough the child had to put in the offering. We had an incident where someone was giving empty envelopes. I am so ashamed. We were told on Sabbath that once the time to provide the offering came we were to check the offerings as soon as the kids took them out. We kept it a secret. We had to do this to catch who it was that was giving their child an empty envelope, or else which child was stealing from the envelope. You know there's just so much. There's just so much. People feel like being in for a few months is a long time. Yeah. Imagine years of this. And I was never a title holder. So who knows what I wasn't privy to, despite the atrocious things I was already exposed to simply by my being a gospel worker. About not having to learn the theology. Well, it's true that the theology of the WMSCOG is a lot. But for someone who wants to get their loved one out, I urge you to understand that tepid understanding of the Bible is not enough, and to take another route of action instead of trying to battle theology. The reason I say this is because as has been noted in this video, we are taught countermeasures. Meaning we learn the things that other groups believe (SDA, JW, Mormon, Pentecostal, etc.), we learn the arguments they bring against us, and then we learn how to combat it. So if you only understand the Bible from what you have been taught by your denomination or organization, it will absolutely backfire if you try and argue with a current member using what you know. Because we already have been taught what you know and we already have an answer to it, that you will not be able to answer if you are unprepared, which only furthers our conviction in "the truth". Of course, this does not apply to people who have a broader understanding of the scripture. But in my experience, even people who go out and evangelize don't always have that knowledge. I am saying the WMSCOG trains us like soldiers; they even call it a war. So if you don't' have a broad understanding of the scripture, and if learning the theology of the WMSCOG is too overwhelming, please, the best thing to do is to try a different method of getting your loved one out than arguing scripture with them. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to learn about this and take them on. I don't believe in God anymore, not in that way, but I believe you all are doing God's work. You can give people like me the bravery to speak out, despite the likely potential for backlash. And you open the eyes of so many, so they don't waste their lives. At some point it just isn't worth it to get out. You've already given up everything. Cut ties with everyone you love. You know, they do say after a certain point: 'What will you do if you leave? You have nothing.' Which is true. But that's by design.
You are right when you say, people wont be able to argue scripture with us. Members can take on veteran pastors in other churches. us: Lords supper happens during the supper time. How did it get changed to breakfast time? them: idk it doesn't matter go study the scriptures because God lives in me and the holy spirit speaks to me!
Thank you Apologia Studios so much! I am 15 years old and now I'm ready to confront them if they ever have the gull to try and lead me away from my Heavenly Father!
When I was in college I remember these people on campus proselytizing. They came up to me a few times while eating lunch. After I let them give me their presentation I would share the gospel with them; once I did this, they would quickly get super defensive and actually became militant and angry. There was literally no reasonings with them. It was actually quite scary. They are like robots.
Yeah it is pretty crazy. They truly do seem like robots as I’ve had several run ins with them. I still couldn’t grasp their point of view. No matter what scriptures you use, they either get defensive or counter. Pray they see the true light of Christ and realize the fallacy their apart of.
Two women from this group showed up at my daughter and son-in-law’s apartment in Georgia five years ago.Thankfully, they are well grounded and knew these people weren’t Christian and weren’t even Jehovah’s witnesses. They talked for a while and my daughter just kept refuting them with the Bible. They didn’t like that. They left and never came back.
So glad your spreading awareness, I personally ran into this group years ago at University and they are very difficult and resistant to the gospel. Glad this darkness is being exposed!
Many similar groups have been around since I was in college 40 years ago. Colleges and universities are pitri dishes for cults. We spoke with them daily. For some students involved in various cult groups it took a few years until they trusted our motive and care before their minds were released.
I remember a college mate took me to one of these cult events and it was scary…It was like walking in to a room full of sales man with separate cubes forcefully trying to convert people.. They were baptizing people there. They believe god has a mother and lives in south korea which doesn’t state in the bible. I’ll never forget this BS
My wife was approached by two of them at Walmart last year. The more experienced one stayed back a bit and observed while the newer girl tried to get my wife interested. She asked her weird stuff about “Mother God” and ended up getting my wife’s phone number. She was texting her aggressively for a few days trying to get her to meet them for lunch until my wife had to finally tell her very sternly that she wasn’t interested. They are very persistent.
OMG MY GOOOOOOSH THIS EXACTLY THING HAPPENED TO ME THE OTHER DAY....IT REALLY THREW ME OFFF...SHE JUST TEXTED ME TONIGHT BUT I LEFT IT ALONE. WOOOOOOOOW SOOOO CREEPY.
@J Mireles Hi. This is my video: th-cam.com/video/65F8wV6MO-Y/w-d-xo.html and this is my biological sister's video: th-cam.com/video/Irmx10L9U-M/w-d-xo.html this video used to be on youtube but WMSCOG had youtube take it down, so it was then uploaded on this website: www.examiningthewmscog.com/the-world-mission-society-church-of-god-predicted-the-end-of-the-world-in-1999/ WMSCOG tried to take down this video too, but didn't succeed. It is a recording of the lady they call God the Mother.: th-cam.com/video/j0euSc286jI/w-d-xo.html This channel also has a lot of information: th-cam.com/channels/YqoKPZE3LamFiiUE9DTtog.html Instagram: instagram.com/questioning_the_wmscog/ Humor: instagram.com/wmscog_memes/ Link to Ahnsahnghong's book where he refutes the idea of Mother God: ncpcog.co.kr/rb/home/b/0604/441 th-cam.com/video/hY55nmTlyCE/w-d-xo.html They not only take the bible verses out of context but also their founder's teachings too. (Ahn Sahng Hong). WMSCOG does have a reputation for suing for copyright, defamation and trademark. (Just letting you know ahead of time.) That's why in my video I made sure to say: "these are my opinions and experiences" because that way it can qualify as freedom of speech.
@grant gee their own founder. The man they believe is “God” Ahnsahnghong he wrote things that contradict the WMSCOG doctrine. But WMSCOG deleted 3 chapters from the “green book” instead of 38 chapters of Ahnsahnghong’s writings , the WMSCOG sells highly edited books of the originals. The originals can be found in the NCPCOG website. Also www.examiningthewmscog.com/ has a lot of information. WMSCOG also takes bible verses out of context. But many WMSCOG members will not listen. Their mentality is like: “why should we listen to a human over God the Mother?”
@grant gee I had a feeling that I suppressed. That what the WMSCOG was doing was wrong. So I eventually looked online. At first I heard what people said but I didn’t really listen to what they were saying because we were taught that if we did then it was eating from the “tree of knowledge of good and evil” and we can die spiritually if we do. Then i saw one of my biological sister’s testimony th-cam.com/video/Irmx10L9U-M/w-d-xo.html that confirmed that she also saw strange things inside the cult. Then I talked with her on the phone and she told me things. The cult hides a lot of things to keep up with appearances. Every person that has left has different reasons. For one it might be because Ahn Sahng Hong and Zhang Gil Jah were married to different people not with each other therefore making their spiritual marriage adultery. For some that doesn’t affect them. But the changes to the “truth books” which are supposed to be Ahnsahnghong’s words do affect them. For some it’s the suing that just didn’t sit right with them. Why does the “one true church” have to sue people to intimidate them into silence? For others was that Armstrong was celebrating Passover before Ahnsahnghong. @ Armstrong’s church was also a destructive cult. Everyone has different reasons for leaving. I still have one of my biological sisters inside WMSCOG. She has been in for 10.5 years now. The mind control is real with this group.
I've encountered these people twice. A group talked to me at my university and another time they came to my door. I wasn't able to find out what group they were from. Thank you for providing more information on them!
Yes we need to know the Bible however it’s also good to know what particular cults teach so we are prepared and Know which particular Scripture we will need
I just started watching this video and in the first few minutes I saw SO many similarities between this group and Worldwide Church of God under Herbert W. Armstrong, which my family used to be a part of. Scary stuff! May God bless your ministry because this work it is so necessary to help people learn the truth and get free. 🙏🏽
I want to thank you for doing such thorough research and presenting it to the public. I have recently been approached by a believer of WMSCOG. Your videos have certainly been a beautiful tool to help build me up as a follower of God and equip me with truth from the Living Word. I pray God planted a seed of truth in her heart as a result of our conversation (if you can call it that). My heart is grieved to know the many sheep being mislead. May God reveal truth and rescue them from this bondage. Thank you again, sincerely. Also, your Christmas video was helpful as I struggle with society losing the focus of Christ. It has been an internal conflict for me because when I researched it, the first things I found were lies about it being pagan in root. I was concerned if it pleased the Lord at all. I have a better understanding and peace about it now. Thank you for listening to the Holy Spirit. Praying for your ministry and May God Bless You! Numbers 6:24-26
Someone came up to me at Mall of America and asked if I believed in God. I said “absolutely, yes”….she then started telling me God was a woman. I just walked away. Wonder if it was this group?
@@eugenenunn4900 the Bible says the cross is an idol. Jesus said remember him through his blood and body. The CROSS is a MAN MADE PIECE OF WOOD, and IT CANNOT give life, NOR should it or ANY inanimate object be used to try and show faith.
Same here, I was talking with what seemed to be leading up to a sibling in Christ, but it took a huge turn when they mentioned "Did you know Scripture proves there is a God the Mother?" Didn't know anything except that it was a false teaching. They offered to go over some verses with me but I had a meeting so I didn't have time. I was regretting not sharing the gospel with them, inviting them into fellowship, or learning their perspective at least... I could have made time. Not sure if I missed an opportunity or dodged a bullet... praying for them.
@@MegaTigers01 You're not wrong. I'm not a Mike Winger expert but am familiar with his work and have seen several critiques of his positions on The Dividing Line. In sum, I think that while it's important to believe rightly, we must approach these issues and one another with humility, careful to avoid the assumption that we've got it all nailed 100% and anathematizing everyone who disagrees here and there.
@@MegaTigers01 the same way, i believe there are forms of calvinism that classify as false gospel. I'm neither calvinist, nor armianist, i believe free will and election is working together. I believe either side is putting God in a box
I've had multiple interactions with the WMSCOG while I was at ASU, and even some interactions at their church just a little south of Glendale Community College. Really happy to see Apologia talk about them with Mike Winger! Would love to see Apologia have interactions with their members in person.
My older brother is currently an active member of this church. we have not seen him in about 5 years now, maybe longer. He has since been married and had a child. He is VERY deep. I tried to reach out to him and he completely came at my throat. He wanted me to prove to him where the easter bunny was in the bible. I told him that I would do that once he proved to me that this "holy mother" was also in the bible, he did not respond. He resorted to calling me pitiful and a coward when he could not provide me with what he was also asking me to provide him. He is so brainwashed and has been for so long but I have not lost hope. I just had one question which was "Are you studying an actual Bible? like THE Bible, or are you studying from books written by the opinions of people (which he states he did not believe in). He also could not answer that question and immediately got defensive. I don't know him anymore :(
Just let him go. These people are lost. Let God reach him. He sounds like an idiot anyways. We all have loser family members. Some shown their stupidity in various ways. Apparently these people think that a Korean man who died of a sudden heart attack (that somehow is 'the root of Jesse' or blood line of David) was the 2nd coming of Christ and had a side chick (aka adulterer mistress) is mother shut, I mean mother whore..., I mean mother god. And this relationship is totally biblical and holy. What losers these people are. How stupid can a person be?
These people also try to stress the occult idea of a lost gospel message when in fact that Jesus said His message will never be lost in the earth! These people say that for 1500 years, Jesus' message got "lost," but is here again..this totally contradicts Jesus' direct quite from the gospels! These people claim that they have a resurfaced gospel message. That's impossible according to Jesus. Such clowns & losers.
My dads side of the family is super sucked into this cult and i was forced to attend for a summer as a child it was super scary i was constantly told that me and the non believers in my family are going to burn in hell and it felt like whole days dedicated to preparing for the afterlife i was 11 at most
I joined this church in my early 20's, about 9 years ago, I wasn't really religious at the time. Changed my whole life in that 7 month period and then fell out. Really messed my mind with Christianity. I still am a believer in god and sometimes wonder what the truth is. Im not religious now but I do believe in things they preached about, sounds weird. I'd really like to talk to other people about this and get some closure.
I’m know I’m getting this a little late, but what do you mean by closure? You said you’d like to talk to other people about this, I’m a Christian and I’m an open book. Don’t know if that’s what you meant.
I am same. But the members of the church are very nice and they helped me a lot with my confidence issues and made me do better. Some of the things, if most makes sense. And I doo believe too but I am not religious person a well
@@LoveYourNeighbour. God's WORDS ARE the bible and they are the only words that matter. You can persuade people with words, but it's just talk and words for MONEY AND FOLLOWERS if there is NO BIBLICAL FOUNDATION.
John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give it to you.
You should be weary of any group that encourages you to use material outside of the Bible. Yes, there are a lot of good commentary out there, but true biblical knowledge will always come from the Bible.
Just last night My girlfriend ran into two of these guys, he asked “can I read you a verse about God the mother” and I was like “go for it” he read genesis and started his explanation, to which my girlfriend and I challenged instantly. He talked about how they believe Jesus returned in 1948, if you go to church on Sunday you’re not a Christian, he challenged the Trinity, and all kinds of stuff….. we challenged him the whole time standing firm in our faith explaining the gospels and the creation of man to him. It was an hour long conversation. I told him things like…not to worry about the end times because if you have Christ and are saved you don’t need to worry, and that when god says “in our image” he’s talking about the Trinity, He challenged it all and when he realized we were well educated in our faith, he didn’t like that. At the end he began to get disrespectful, judging us for not believing in what he believes, he said that since we don’t go to church every week we aren’t real Christians, and that since we go on Sunday we aren’t real Christian’s. We continued to challenge him in a respectful way then he laughed at my girlfriend when she made a point and was like “oh sorry” and she was like “yeah that was extremely disrespectful” and at the end he started walking away from us saying “you claim to bring people to Christ and to be a Christian but you’re just a False prophet!” And I responded saying “I never claimed to be a prophet, you came to us and we listened and we’re respectful, you started judging us and being disrespectful” and he again just said we were false prophets and turned the corner and walked away. They expected us to just be two dumb kids that they thought would be “easy recruits” but when they realized they were wrong they got hostile, these people are brainwashed if you don’t agree with them their true colors show, it’s sad, Pray for them.
Good thing you are watching this, i was unsuspectingly ambushed by them on Tuesday at a University campus in SOUTH AFRICA, and i was literally baffled the first few minutes, strangley the only reason i didn't completely panic was because a couple of months before two girls in the same campus area had been giving out Chris Oyakhilome's false teachings and i got into talking to them. So when these two World Missions Society members came i had to just do a similar thing and refute mother god.
I used your "Prove that there's a holy mother in the Bible and that she's a Korean mistress adulterer and I will believe your message" to the guy from this church ..😅
31:56 @Mike Winger, I don’t know whether they changed the number of the song “He has saved me” in their new song book to a new one now. This recording was done 3years ago so there is a chance they have seen this video and made changes in their song book. I don’t really know. They are known for changing their ways and approach whenever they receive public redicule so I won’t be surprised. But the number for that song is currently 151 in their song book. Regardless, whatever you stated in that text is true. 🎶 Though having eyes, I failed to see; though having ears, I failed to hear the words of life, words of the covenant. You opened my ears. Not by the name of Jehovah, nor by the name of Jesus, could I ever be saved! For this sinful son, Father Ahnsanhong, God Almighty, came down with bread and wine of life! He saved me🎵 That’s the text in the 1st stanza. I don’t know why people still follow this cult. They have clearly abandoned the redemption and salvation Jesus Christ has given mankind through the shedding his blood on the cross of Calvary. Hebrews 1:7; 10:19. I pray the Holy Spirit of God convicts all the innocent people who have been deceived into this false teaching.
They came to my apt door a couple hours ago & almost got me he did like a 20 min bible study I thought he was Cristian but I was dead wrong , I mean I went to church with my mom when I was young but haven’t been in 8-9 years , I thought they where Christian n wanted to do a quick bible study , he had to be using a fake bible or some or just switched the verses around cause he put it in a way it sounded real but he left a lot out about they’re beliefs now I see he wanted me to get baptized asap and kept asking even said he could call a minister and baptize me in my living room , after watching this I’m shocked cause they almost got me & I do not need this rn 😭 I only got the name of the church from the address he sent me too get baptized at , they didn’t tell me its name …thank u god ❤️
My neighbor just invited me to this "Church" because I was looking for fellowship. I looked into this and I got RED flags via the Holy Spirit. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path" It has a very new agey feel and strange beliefs that do not line up with scripture. I turned away and said " Halleluia Lord..thank you that I know you and the way to go." And..THIS " church" is not the way. Also ..she guilt tripped me (tried) telling me this group obediently worships on Sat.."The TRUE day" she said. Well..I'd rather be in worship with true believers on Sunday, than the Ungodly on Saturday. "Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath."
Woah really, you are probably the first person in South Africa to mentioned them. I was approached at an NMU Campus and was slightly taken of guard, but had to recover quickly.
A guy chatted me up about them while we were waiting in line to get propane at a gas station. He started talking about there being "different baptisms" and other wild stuff. He said the name of the church a dozen times 😬. I instantly thought "oh, this cat is totally in a cult".
i had my encounter with them in our dorm. they talked about the mother god, that onsong hong is christ, the second coming. they offered us to do the passover in one condition that we must be baptized first.
The Church of God said they binded me from going to Heaven. They also control me everywhere I go and work. They Said I had to follow them as the Holy Spirit and obey them.
Let me tell you Tammy, they have no power or authority in Heaven for it is our Lord Jesus who has all authority and power over heaven and earth 🙏💪 Hallelujah! These people are lost.. may God have mercy on them and may they turn from their wicked ways. If you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior I can tell you with 100% certainty and authority from the texts of our Bible that you will be saved and you will enter into the kingdom of Heaven. Don't fear and trust Him only 🙏 there is only one Jesus and He is that same Jesus who died on the cross for our sins 2000 years ago. God bless you
Thank you for this video. An old co-worker and I met for coffee. In the conversation we began to talk about my faith and wham. She got out her Bible and a notepad and asked me if I had heard of the heavenly Father and mother. She went to town explaining things. I didn't feel good about it and came home and tried to watch a couple of videos. While watching only a couple of minutes and even doing some reading up on this church I kept getting a really weird feeling. As I was doing my research I kept getting this feeling I've never had before. I now know it's God's spirit telling me to stay away. I watched a couple of minutes of a video in my search for some answers and they seem to twist the meaning of scripture around.
Wow it was for sure the Spirit of God giving you that feeling. Three years ago (I had been saved for just under a year at that point) I was approached by one of these guys. I agreed to meet up with him for a study and discussion (always open for discussion) The second time I agreed to meet up again, he took me to his pastor and he took me through the scriptures for like 8hrs. It was really overwhelming and intense and I just had this really strange feeling the whole time, I can't explain the feeling but it was just completely weird and off. I agreed I'd meet them again but I got home very upset and cried to God about the whole ordeal because I couldn't understand what just happened. I got the strong impression that I must not go back to them, which I didn't. Even though I didn't believe what they were saying, I can understand how people can easily get swept up into it.
I agree with what you said.. their mother god idea is utter b.s. I have been studying with a member of this church for 2 days now. He first approached me and my wife at a walmart at 10pm, asking if we were Christians and if we've ever heard of "mother god" before. I said no and then the guy said "would you like to join a bible study." I knew it was a cult once he said the "mother god" part, but i played along to see what they actually teach. The guy offered to meet at a local coffee shop to have a bible study and so far, in the last 2 meetups, I've observed this guy make up a very well executed, twisted doctrine to fit his church's "real" gospel according to him. Any doctrine i brought up, he said "this is a false" or something to this affect. He even said Jesus' death isn't an eternal propitiation of sins of the past, present, and future of all mankind. I told him thats not what Jesus said. I knew solidly that this guy is truly on the wrong track at that point. I told him Jesus' death was willful and is stated to be a one and only eternal sin offering for all people. This is incontrovertible. Yet this guy had the nerve to say it isn't. I knew then and there that this guy is super deceived and lost, nevermind the fact that this guy is outright denying the written Bible and Jesus' direct quotes! But i still went along with this guy to hear him out and try to open his eyes in fact. I think i will stop after this 3rd bible study coming up. People are so lost. He actually told me that Jesus came back a 2nd time already and started teaching in 1948 ("according to prophecy") and that this new Jesus guy already "left this world.." I was then asked if I would accept this new Jesus again if he presented himself to me. I said, "probably not because i don't think Jesus would come and be unrecognizable as a mortal man, be asian, and live a full lifetime and die largely unknown without all the divine glory written about in Revelation." What's really incredible is that this church member is a highly intelligent, intellectual, healthcare professional with a doctorate degree, yet he is totally brainwashed and deceived to buy into this sh*t that is leading him to hell. It's amazing that even bright people can be hooked and taken for such delusional, twisted teachings that aren't even easy to believe off mainline Christianity and straightforward bible reading. The amount of mental gymnastics and logical Twister this guy had to do was incredible. All along, I'm just listening, trying to keep my facial gestures stoic, and watching him twist the bible left and right for his newer blasphemous ideas. I wanna help him, but i don't think that's in my power. This guy is completely off the Jesus train at this point. I don't understand how peoplecan buy into this cuckoo stuff that's so far off the general Christian message. I have a cousin that's also part of a cult in Singapore called "iglesia ni christo." I told her she's in a cult too. She denies it. Oh well. I'm not responsible for everyone that wants to remain deceived by will. I guess all we can do is pray and let God do His thing to reach the lost. It's all so tragic actually.
@@thedreammakerATLtell her that doctrines like "mother god" are hidden teachings, and that God's word doesn't have any hidden teachings... From my book, "Witnessing to the Cults: a practical study guide for Christian workers," by Alex Wilson & Christine Tetley, they write: "We have seen that the Mormons, Iglesia ni Cristo, and Armstrong all claim to be the restoration of the one true church - beginning in 1830, 1914, and 1934 respectively! But if any of these cults is correct, it would mean that the Church founded by Christ through the Apostles died out and was nonexistent for more than 1,500 years. Yet Jesus specifically said that such a thing would not happen (Amen to that!!!). Jesus stated emphatically that the gates of Hades (that is, the power of death) should not prevail against the Church that He was going to build (Matt. 16:18). Of course, Jesus did teach that three (unsaved people, "sons of the evil one") would grow up among the wheat (true Christians, "sons of the kingdom"). Jesus also taught that His disciples would vary in their fruitfulness: some would bring forth 100-fold, others 60-fold, and others 30-fold. But He never suggested at all that the wheat (true Christians) would disappear! (Matt. 13:23-30, 36-43)."
@@jag6138this is the subtle seduction of what a false doctrine is like.. it's slick, smooth, charming, has all the counter claims to challenge/reinterpret the Bible itself to make a completely new (occult) message from the blatant obvious one anyone can see just by cursory glance of any book in the Bible. This is how cool and slick and cunning the devil could be when he comes at you. You won't even know what hit you. You could be hooked and caught like a fish like the very people that are part of this demonic organization. Stay away, warn others, share your experience, warn others, learn your Bible, pray, and remain close to God. He is our anchor in these end times. Jesus said multiple times "let no one deceive you." Those words hit home when you encounter these kinds of snake oil cult people. Remember this, satan and his fallen angels and his lost followers (like these blinded cult members) can and will use Bible Scripture to manipulate you. satan tried to tempt Jesus in the desert when Jesus was alone for 40 days and nights.. Jesus even told satan that He was God when he said to satan, "do not tempt the Lord your God." Remember that quote next time a muslim tries to ask you, "where in your Bible does Jesus say 'I am God..?" You tell them He only explicitly says it to satan in the desert when he was fasting and praying for 40 days and nights after He was baptized by John the Baptist. Blessings, stay strong, and know your Bible for crying out loud! You all are freaked out because you don't know your scriptures! This is a warning to you and your family. satan is real and you will lose your soul if you cannot guard it with SOUND biblical understanding and doctrine. Read 30 mins per day (minimum) and watch out fast you sharpen up spiritually against all this deception around you!
@TheEnd Sorry man, but these places do not hold to biblical trinitarianism. God is defined as one essence and 3 persons. Not the modalism taught in those chapels.
i got approached by them the moment i stepped foot out of target and something just seemed very culty. i grew up jehovah's witness and all the red flags just stood out so much. couldn't wait to dive into what they were talking about because i left confused
I once got lunch with a coworker thinking we were going to have a Bible study together. He told me everything he believed, which is everything in this video. I'm glad I was confident in the real truth of the Bible, but his beliefs definitely spooked me. He was always at his church if he wasn't at work. I often wonder what happened to him and if he's still there.

Yes, it's scary indeed. Wmscog followers don't know scripture enough and like a spider weaving strand after strand of its web round the prey, wmscog does the same thing...spinning webs of false teachings around the minds of these followers until their minds are all filled completely with falsehoods. God help them. We pray the Holy Spirit will remove the cobwebs of darkness from their darkened minds. Amen.
@GlamCammHair Every wmscog's teaching is _not_ backed by the bible. Ahnsanghong himself NEVER claimed he was Jesus or claimed that he was god. Wmscog falsely claimed he was god. See the difference?
Yeah, you're so correct. Jesus came back as a Korean guy only to die by sudden heart attack and then his side chick is the slut of all creation, I mean whore of all creation...I mean mother god, sorry. Yeah, that relationship between the 2 seems truly biblical. I totally believe it.
Can someone answer me this. Does the Bible not tell us to partake in the Passover? Does it not prophesy about Christ coming a second time with a new name?(revelation 3:12) to bring final salvation back to us before Judgment? (Hebrews 9:27-28). Was Jesus not the Prophetic King David in which King David ruled Israel for 40 years. Jesus was Baptized and Preached for 3, then was killed which left 37 more years for his second coming to finish. No more or less because that wouldn’t be prophecy correct? I’m not saying this with Pride, but I’m saying this because if the scriptures testify about these things. And Christ Ahnsahnhong has (by your own admission Taught the world about Passover, Sabbath Day(Saturday worship), third day worship(Tuesday), 7 feasts of God) which are all practices that we have to keep for salvation along with following the commandments when the world holds Sunday worship, communion, Christmas Service, Easter service, Ash Wednesday and these other holidays and practices that aren’t anywhere in the Bible and worship Crosses and other idols. Can someone else, or anyone else tell me someone besides Christ Ahnsahnhong who brought back the teachings of the Bible in the timeframe that was prophesied about?
Two girls came up to me on campus and they seemed very sweet and kind. They said they just wanted to do a bible study…The second and third time i saw them the girl was so pushy and intense about setting up a time to do a bible study. She was pressuring me to set up a time and i just remember feeling off about it. I stopped for a second to read about they actually believed in…my mouth dropped when I started to read reddits and ex members testimonies about what happens at that church. Just horrific.
I was approached by them twice. The first time while I was shopping in a store. The second time I was in a mall waiting for my kids and approached by one woman. Both times I was asked if I knew God the mother? 😮
I’m in Columbus Ohio. Thank you for the video. I watched this a year or two ago as an interesting thing to know and just moved on to another group. I was just approached in a Walmart by one of these people. I pointedly asked what group he was with so I knew how to approach him as I thought he was a “normal” cult. As soon as I heard the church name my defenses went up and I shut down the conversation as I was feeling uncomfortable and couldn’t put my finger on it. As soon as I pulled this up again it all came back. Glad I didn’t engage. Thanks for your content!
They’ve been getting on to the Naval base over here in San Diego. They tried to get me. I figured out it was a cult when they dropped the “we worship a mother deity on me”.
@Virginia Phillips 🤣🤣🤣 you clearly have not read your bible. You probably spend the majority of your time reading the books of the cult you are in. The truth about Christ has not been buried and was not unknown to the World. It’s always endured it always will endure. You guys don’t have secret knowledge of the bible or know the true way. Cults always use that blather. Christ is the true way.
@Virginia Phillips I recommend that you read 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (www.bible.com/bible/114/2TH.2.NKJV). It says that the second coming won't happen until AFTER the rebellion by the man of sin. The rebellion by the man of sin hasn't happened yet. Therefore, the second coming hasn't come yet which makes your religion invalid. Hope you get out of that heretical sect.
@Virginia Phillips First of all, numerology is bogus. Where in the bible does it support your mental gymnastics? Also "vicar of Christ" in Latin is "Vicarius Christi" not "Vicarius Filii Dei" Did you even read that verse? It said that the second coming of Christ won't happen until AFTER the rebellion by the man of sin. So I say again, who is the man of sin?
Got approach by this group on the island of Barbados this weekend, they focused more on the second come of Christ, the lady was nice, but was slightly aggressive the terms of her keeping talking when I was clearly trying to end the convo and leave, she tried inviting me to bible study, I just told her I was happy at my church, she said how alot of christian churches arent teaching true christianity or something, and that Easter, Christmas etc are pagan festivals that churches celebrate I just repeated myself and proceeded to walk off
I am a member of this church for almost a couple of years. I'm very observant person. Just like someone said in this comment section, the members are so nice at first and as time goes by I became like them "the one who preach" but because of my physical problem I decided to not preach after 8 months preaching then suddenly some of them starting to judge me. I know how to read energy. When I attend worship some of their eyes are really judging me. Because of that incident I decided to quit and after 3 months of ghosting them, they came into our house and wants me to start worship again. They are three memebers of this church came into our house while they one member talking to me I saw one member doing side eye. And my mind thinks "Oh, okay". After that 2nd incident I don't want to come back into this church. Don't get me wrong I believe in God but one thing I was thinking about this church is, why they're mocking other religion instead of doing some of good practices to make the church like a home of God. Sometimes i feel guilty because after 2 years becoming a member I cut so many friends and some of my peeps. They really put into my head that the not member of the church is not a part of a family (those people who rejected their preaching).
These peops are scary good with meeting new people. I bumped into two dudes around Cincinnati and at first I thought they were a denomination or something. Then once I started to listen to their beliefs, they have a whole other communion, they said that every other church was wrong, etc. Thank God he blessed with good mentors in my youth, because I had an answer and i was prepared to go toe to toe with them. However, once they saw i wasn't an easy mark, the said that they had to go as if afraid that i might change their minds. I hope to be able to speak with others who do outreach to have a response to these type of cults. Hopefully even being able to convince some to come to orthodox Christianity, instead of the cheap imitation.
I was just approached at Walmart by this nice young lady asking me if I am Christin and believe in God I toks her yes I am but at the moment I don’t attend a church and she started out cool saying things that I know from the bible but then she said God made everything on Earth in likes of what’s from Heaven so like on earth there is a mother and a father and children and right there I was like wait so God is our father and we have a mother!! I found this video on youtube and I am all set. Coincidentally I was in a bad mood and thought God might have sent her to give me some message, I don’t think it was God who sent her.
When I was in the military and stationed in Korea, I had 2 missionaries witness to me about mother god, but never new the name of the cult. I did go to their church once but didn't understand much since it was in Korean. Thanks guys for posting this, very informative.
I'm from Malaysia and a girl approached me, asking me if I knew about God the Mother. My Catholic mind immediately interpretated is as Mother Mary and I said, yes, I'm Catholic, I know about Mother Mary. She then started to correct me and told me what it actually is about. I started making huge hand gestures while asserting that I wasnt interested. She left me alone. Lol.
craz4jaymz Amen. We have the mother of God. There's no 'God the Mother'. Only paganistic religions worship some god and his goddess. Wmscog is no different.
@@eric.loves.to.fish1 yes! I thought she meant Mother of God initially, then she repeated God the Mother. So bizarre. Apparently, their main target is young women here.

Yes, finally👍😂 I sent you guys an email a few months ago asking if you could address this cult as you guys at apologia are the few people I can trust to do this faithfully and biblically. Thank you as I am trying to reach some people that live near me that are part of wmscog and as a new Christian I cannot argue as well you guys can!
I have a friend that introduced me to her “church” she kept saying it was non denomination but would not say the name- I figured ok so I did a few virtual bible studies & they pressed heavily on Passover as the one way to entrance into heaven. I eventually spoke up about it, stated I didn’t want to hurt the groups feelings but I didn’t believe in Passover being the foundation of eternal life. I was told essentially to screw off in the nicest way possible. I’m glad I spoke up but I was seriously considering delving further into this fabricated religion, this cult. Please don’t feel ashamed for trusting your gut and walking away from things that make you uncomfortable.
I was invited into the church in the same manner! Only difference is that I haven’t been so vocal about my qualms. I’m more so just repeating back everything that they say to me in hopes that I can get this whole Bible study, baptism, and Passover thing over with and finally be able to really delve into the nitty gritty of the church and it’s foundations. I’ve always been interested in different religions and while I’m atheist I figured that this would be a fun way to do some first hand research into a cult and it’s workings. I mean if not now, when 🤷🏽♀️

Amen! Well said!!!

Agreed! Without "the sword of the Spirit" (Ephesians 6) we're defenseless against deception!
I went to this church when I first started seeking Jesus for like 2 days.
I read Matthew 24 and gave my life to Jesus and harshly rebuked these heretics!

@J Mireles Why should we care what the bible says?
I experienced something similar on my way home from when I was in the Philippines. Two men asked if I had known about "God the mother" They then proceeded to bring out points from Revelation to prove their assertions. The verses were blatantly out of context. After listening to them, I called him out on his disregard of context. I explained that the book revelation uses imagery and not to be taken literally. But when I did this, he then began to talk louder and louder rather than refute any of my arguments.
How can we create an awareness of these cults from preying on people who did not grow up in the church or who do not have a basic scripture!
He couldn't answer me properly.
no, you started getting disproven and you couldn't handle it so you probably got angry and they decided you weren't ready.

Every single thing you’ve said is what I went through. Wow

was 17 yrs old in my 2nd yr of college about to enter campus, was approached by a young lady around 5 years older than me and asked if i knew god the mother. i was honestly curious, went along with the lady after class to their place (i dunno why i didn't even think about being easily abducted and sold for prostitution which sadly happens extremly often in the philippines).
first day seemed normal a lotta short bible verse references heavily focused on beliefs like statues is a form of idolatry and their ceremonies pretty tame. i was extremely skeptic and bombarding her with questions. nothing seemed abnormal cause i know there are other religions that have similar beliefs and not far compared to what was taught growing up in religion class cause she kept on referencing the bible.
the second day was when they dropped the bomb and told me that GOD THE MOTHER WAS A KOREAN WOMAN WHO WAS CURRENTLY ALIVE. i wanted to leave right there and then but i felt scared. it crossed my mind that they could easily imprison or kill me if i didn't agree cause i was alone in a house which was headquarters or something. i just ended up going along with it and THEY BAPTIZED ME THE SAME DAY!
i was seriously confused when it was happening. it felt so wrong cause i didn't believe a thing but was pretending to get it over with and get tf out of the house. the baptism was in a huge bathtub looking thing in a bathroom. i thought while it was happening "does this even count?" cause i don't believe anything they said. i was extremely scared that they might lock me in cause nobody knew i was there (cause they mentioned the day before that i should not mention it to anyone even family or friends cause a lotta people are close minded and negative red flag but im dumb) if i didnt go thru with it.
when i went home i blocked their numbers and i was constantly stealthy otw to campus for 2 weeks. i never told it to anyone cause it was an embarrassing weird unexplainable experience and i know anyone who hears my story would say i was dumb to go with a stranger to a house in the first place (sexual assault and murder is high here in our country).
4 years later i was watching documentaries on yt and ended up on cults and then it sinked it that it was a cult. i feel shookt and so dumb to only realize it after 4 years it happened, i just thought they were weird people and didn't know what a cult was at that time 🤦🏻♀️

I love this video for one specific reason. Mike winger and the Cultish team have pretty different theological stances on alot of subjects but they are able to set their differences aside and have a very productive and sobering conversation
I love Mike! Besides Calvinism, what other differences am I skipping over?
Definitely pre-millennial post-millennial stuff
Like Mike always says, we're all brothers and sisters in Christ as long as we believe the core doctrine of Jesus'cleansing blood. The secondary issues can be debated and disagreed on without it affecting our core beliefs. I'm premillennial myself and definitely not Calvinist but good bible teaching is good bible teaching and apologia is good even if I disagree with some of their beliefs.
I was approached by one of these people today, he started off very nice and left very angry! Thank God that I knew enough of my word to refute his points!
I'm a freshman in college and a new member and this video read my mind I was starting to fear they were right.
I guess I can't be sucked into these groups since I don't believe in tithing 😆 😂 🤷 😅 🤣. Tithing IS NOT a New Testament command whatsoever.

I don't know him anymore :(
Replying to ask if anyone knows of any support groups for people who have family members who are actively in this church?
@@aliciaherring3013I was solicited exactly one week ago in a walmart at 10pm. Felt fishy the whole time.

I told him things like…not to worry about the end times because if you have Christ and are saved you don’t need to worry, and that when god says “in our image” he’s talking about the Trinity,
He challenged it all and when he realized we were well educated in our faith, he didn’t like that. They expected us to just be two dumb kids that they thought would be “easy recruits” but when they realized they were wrong they got hostile,
these people are brainwashed if you don’t agree with them their true colors show, it’s sad, Pray for them.

Never heard of before . 1.15am here in the UK and watching ! Chimmed in a little later , but looking forward to this 😁
Ditto, actually I'm always late to everything coming from the states, including Bible Thinker.
He saved me🎵
That’s the text in the 1st stanza.
I turned away and said
" Halleluia Lord..thank you that I know you and the way to go." And..THIS " church" is not the way.

Wmscog's baptism is an invalid one. Because it involves an alien name of some korean dude masquerading as Christ.
The Church of God said they binded me from going to Heaven. They also control me everywhere I go and work. They Said I had to follow them as the Holy Spirit and obey them.

I had the same feeling. My daughter has joined this place and I am praying that she get out of it, however, she is really deep into it.
I said, "probably not because i don't think Jesus would come and be unrecognizable as a mortal man, be asian, and live a full lifetime and die largely unknown without all the divine glory written about in Revelation."

@@thedreammakerATLtell her that doctrines like "mother god" are hidden teachings, and that God's word doesn't have any hidden teachings...
From my book, "Witnessing to the Cults: a practical study guide for Christian workers," by Alex Wilson & Christine Tetley, they write:
"We have seen that the Mormons, Iglesia ni Cristo, and Armstrong all claim to be the restoration of the one true church - beginning in 1830, 1914, and 1934 respectively!
@Virginia Phillips So you claim Christ’s 2nd coming has already happened is that what you’re saying?
@Virginia Phillips 🤣🤣🤣 you clearly have not read your bible. You probably spend the majority of your time reading the books of the cult you are in. The truth about Christ has not been buried and was not unknown to the World. It’s always endured it always will endure. You guys don’t have secret knowledge of the bible or know the true way. Cults always use that blather. Christ is the true way.
@Virginia Phillipsno. You are spiritually blind. That’s why you are part of a cult that worships a woman’s deity.
Also "vicar of Christ" in Latin is "Vicarius Christi" not "Vicarius Filii Dei"
Did you even read that verse? It said that the second coming of Christ won't happen until AFTER the rebellion by the man of sin. So I say again, who is the man of sin?
Got approach by this group on the island of Barbados this weekend, they focused more on the second come of Christ, the lady was nice, but was slightly aggressive the terms of her keeping talking when I was clearly trying to end the convo and leave, she tried inviting me to bible study, I just told her I was happy at my church, she said how alot of christian churches arent teaching true christianity or something, and that Easter, Christmas etc are pagan festivals that churches celebrate I just repeated myself and proceeded to walk off
i mean those holidays are pagan

Was just approached by them. Now the research begins! 😂😂
So glad you are talking about this cult, please pray for these people
Ps Mike Winger, well done, your job is such an inspiration to me
The 2 times I talked with them, they mentioned mother God. They use Genesis. Let us make man and woman in our own image.
One of my fav cults! Thx for covering!
"fav cults" LOL. I know what you mean though.
It’s not a cult
@@Joe-vi4sr it is
Sorry but the World mission society church of God, isn’t a cult!
Lol.
I was asked the same thing, "do I know of mother God" too at a local Walmart last week at 10pm.

Amen.
@@billp7151 and their HQ is quite close by to where I live too! Luckily, I was only approached once. I dont go to the mall often so maybe that's why. Their target is young women here.
This cult is coming to my collage campus prey that we may rebuke them with love and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit
This sounds like a spin-off of Armstrongism, which I'd love to see you dive into.
I mean if not now, when 🤷🏽♀️
all the more reason to read your Bible n get wisened up with the Truth before being preyed upon again by spiritual vampires.
@@elarca1742even as an atheist, you're still toying with a trained group of spiritual vampires. I'd be very cautious. They'll have you hooked into it and brainwashed in no time. You can't play with the devil and not get hurt eventually.
