A mystery subscription where every month or so, you get either a soap that she made off camera, a totally unique "flub" where she was experimenting and this is what happened, or maybe just a random bar from the batches for that month. I think it would be fun! Or if not a subscription, just a side option where you have no idea what you're ordering! Fun fun!

A little bit of encouragement, which is obvious (but I'll say it anyway), the wonderful thing about soapmaking is when a design "fails", it is still soap. It still cleans and lathers and does everything a soap with a perfectly executed design does.
Even though the batches didn’t come out as planned, it’s still soap. Right now you are creating something that is heavily needed and is saving countless lives! 👍🏻
@@LPurdy Depends on the location. I've heard everything from soapers being slammed with orders to not getting any orders even though people have cleaned out the big stores. It is kinda sad to see everyone clean out the soap aisles at Walmart or other big chains but not give a second thought to the micro businesses in their area.
@@squirrel6536 makes sense though. When in stockpile mode, you want to keep prizes as low as possible. And something handmade is usually a bit more expensive than some regular soap at Walmart.

This is actually a pretty good idea. I'm sure that plenty of food banks, healthcare centers, schools (when they reopen), and homeless centers would all greatly appreciate the help. For that matter, properly sealed soaps (even if they are visual "flops") would probably make much better gifts for the teachers right now than ANYTHING food or money related (money is some FILTHY stuff). Though, I would hope that the soap is handled correctly during shipping and traveling, as soap can get contaminated from mishandling.

Yes, more challenges! even though these didn't look as intended, they're still gorgeous!!! for a somewhat mess-free pour, might I suggest using 2 small piping bags together inside a bigger one? works for chocolate ganache ;)
I vote for something like her "I mixed atl my colors" color... where you never know what you're gonna get. Then she uses that with white to practice these fancy techniques.... and we get blooper bars!

If it's been a few hours and gone through saponification, no. If the dishes are fresh its basically a caustic, oily mess. In that case you need Dawn dishsoap to get the oils off. At least that's the brand I use.

I home school my daughter and just wanted to say thank you for posting a video where what you attempted didn’t go right. For some reason she has anxiety about messing up or making a mistake and it holds her back. This video (and the frozen 2 one of Kenny having the ricing problem) has helped her understand that everyone makes mistakes; even her favourite TH-camr.
I’m aware this is a past soap challenge, but I really enjoy watching these and I did try my hand at this design a little over a year ago and it turned out like your first bar. I put it out on my shelf anyway and it sold out. Customers have no idea it was a failed design attempt and love it anyway. I think you should continue with the soap challenges for fun and practice and I love your videos! Use fragrances that slow down trace like grapefruit. I’m just so glad to know there are people out there who’ve been making soap for a long time that still have challenges with designs. We all need to show our weaknesses along with our strengths to show people they’re not alone. Thank you so much for sharing your videos!

When it’s coming out of the long spouted container it looked like aquafresh toothpaste to me.

I home school my daughter and just wanted to say thank you for posting a video where what you attempted didn’t go right. For some reason she has anxiety about messing up or making a mistake and it holds her back. This video (and the frozen 2 one of Kenny having the ricing problem) has helped her understand that everyone makes mistakes; even her favourite TH-camr.
When youre pouring it out into the mould, 100% looks like Aquafresh toothpaste to me lmfao.
I’m aware this is a past soap challenge, but I really enjoy watching these and I did try my hand at this design a little over a year ago and it turned out like your first bar. I put it out on my shelf anyway and it sold out. Customers have no idea it was a failed design attempt and love it anyway. I think you should continue with the soap challenges for fun and practice and I love your videos! Use fragrances that slow down trace like grapefruit. I’m just so glad to know there are people out there who’ve been making soap for a long time that still have challenges with designs. We all need to show our weaknesses along with our strengths to show people they’re not alone. Thank you so much for sharing your videos!
