I love that! There could be a very thin layer on the top and bottom that’s a vibrant pink and then the middle could be whitish gray with tiny black embeds. Then maybe the top swirls could be white with a tinge of pink to bring it all together.
I love going to my elderly friends house, she's been collecting things for years, she's got mason jars, bowls, shadow boxes, you name it full of things. She's 87 and she's been collecting since she was 10. I've always thought she was a fairy, and looking at her collections makes me feel like I'm in a magic book.
I cant go to a place like a museum or theme park without checking for fossils crystals or soap in the gift shop i also collect lego and tiny glass figures on pins and tiny porcelain cats
Im a fan of tiny things too. Ive visited the miniature exhibit at the art institute chicago very often. Its amazing. www.artic.edu/departments/PC-15/thorne-miniature-rooms
Nearly everyone has an inner magpie and wants to collect things like this, at least when kids. Stones, shells, buttons, leaves or anything that catches attention often are collected by kids.
Cerinaya my mom put all my random stuff like that into a mason jar in our laundry room whenever I wanted to keep it, and she still has it to this day. it’s so funny to look at the things that little me found interesting.
My son get to choose from a toy basket at school and he always pics these tiny erasers bc he knows i love them. We have soo many and I will never tell him to stop bc they are adorable
I used to collect shiny rocks and sea shells growing up. I still have some of them in a container , I definitely enjoyed picking up all of the ones that I thought were pleasing to the eye.
Anytime I visit a lake or river I like to clean up the trash/lost debris and if a thing is interesting enough I keep it. Not even anything of significant value, just stuff like fishing lures or a really interesting rock. I have an organizer with sections specifically to store these little trash trinkets. In other facets of my life, I play D&D and collect dice sets. My group has called me a magpie on many occasions because of it. To top it all off, my patronus on Pottermore is a magpie. So yeah, I guess I've kept my affinity for shiny things.
Elizabeth Bloom omg I made “perfume” too! It always smelled terrible after the second day. My poor grandma had the displeasure of getting one of my “perfumes” for Mother’s Day once😂

katie! have you ever thought about making an unscented, pretty soap? i love all your soaps, but i have incredibly sensitive skin. on top of that, i feel like everything unscented is so plain, so it would mean the world to me if there was something both pretty and unscented! thanks so much. 🥰❤️
I have insanely sensitive skin as well (have to use a different laundry detergent than my husband even, all organic, cause otherwise I break out in hives all over), but I have found, at least for hand washing (haven't attempted using it in the shower) Katie's soaps are one of the few I can actually use. Maybe just give it a try with one of the sample sets and see what happens?
Soap idea: Maybe you could make a surfing themed soap. Maybe the soap frosting you could pipe and then use a spoon or something that will make the frosting look like waves. You could maybe even make surf board soap inbeds! Or maybe surf wax inbeds! The inbed options are endless. Just an idea, would probably be pretty difficult to make.
My "too small item" that makes me squeal is baby socks. Idk. Just socks. Not the babies, not the little feets they go on, just tiny socks make me so happy
The Pacific Northwest smells like a mixture of earth sea and pine. It home is smells primordial I love that smile. Pacific northwest is Oregon and Washington On the United States side and then it includes part of Canada
I've spent a lot of time in British Columbia, in the temperate rainforest, and it's amazing how different and wonderful it smells from my home in Ontario. Earthy and fresh and alive. I get a little sad after a couple days when I get nose blind to it :p
My god this soap!💖💖 This embodies my aesthetic so hard. Also the overwhelming emotion that comes from tiny things is sometimes called "cute agression" which is interesting thing that humans just have for some reason
Wiccaphile my family has a tiny cat (we’ve had her from birth) and she gives me the worst cute aggression I’ve ever experienced. I just want to squeeze her every time I pet her 😂 she’s so cute I don’t know what to do with myself.
Saw this in my recommended before I had checked my sub feed, and thought ‘ooh, I don’t recognise this one, must be an old video I’ve not seen before!’, clicked and was even happier when I found out it was a brand new vid! Yay! 😁
Oregonian here: the Pacific Northwest pretty much always smells woodsy and damp. Depending on how close you get to the shore or to the farmlands it can be ocean-y or somewhat barnyard-y but the underlying smells still always seem to be water trees and dirt.
Also smoke, in the valley at least. It seems like when the camping season is over, people just move their fires inside. Definitely a clean smell though. The air is so clean here, especially compared to DFW.
The green tones with the acorns and leaves remind me of a Peter Pan soap! My all time favourite Disney character and movie! I’m in love with this soap! Great job!
Oh man, I get so much flack for how much I love tiny things. When I was in college, my art professors were ALWAYS on my case cause I really like working in miniature, and for some reason that annoyed them....
Love Tiny Things :D Looking forward to this one! i used to collect pretty stones, press flowers, and display random collections of seashells and whatnots. I remember one of my friends made the most beautiful exhibitions out of her stuff, while my displays were just haphazardly thrown together.
I loved frogs as a child! Whenever I see a toad or tiny frog my heart literally melted when I saw the BIGGEST toad I have ever seen and he was such a sweet man. We pulled him out the the pool and he jumped right back in like the chlorine filled pool was always his home🙌🙌 I hope the best for his toxic free life.
You have such a happy energy and instantly makes me comfortable and happy. So thank you for being you. Ever watch someone and think...we would be best friends in real life? Yep. That’s you for me. Keep it up lady you’re killing it!
For the "i" question, I love going on road trips, especially with my late dad, it was my favourite just hearing his stories of the land around us as we drove for hours and hours singing songs and just talking 🥰
Just wanted to tell you that I have really bad anxiety and depression, I struggle to sleep and your videos help me to relax so much. I love your relationship with your brother as well it’s so wholesome. Thanks for taking the time to make all the videos you do, I appreciate them and you❤️
Thank you for continuing to put out content through this time. I've always found your videos relaxing and positive, and it's especially relaxing during this time. So thank you 😊
I'm someone who gets bored easily with channels but you must be doing something right to have kept me glued for almost two years now. One time you didn't post on time and I was on Instagram telling you that you haven't posted. Obviously a huge fan (watching from Nigeria). Beautiful soap as always. I Love you and your channel.
Your soap making videos are my absolute favorite videos on youtube. I love your voice and bubbly personality!! You also always make the coolest soaps! Thanks for posting regular content!
I prefer camping for sure, done it lots and adore it. You just got the time to walk off into the woods and enjoy nature, start a fire and sit by it, watch the starry night as the forest goes black and in general enjoy it.
Katie I LOVE YOUR WEIRDNESSSSS! I am also one who cries when I see little itty bitty things toooo. Oh my good gawd, I thought that was only me! So cool that you are the same, who would have guessed it tho! Love your channel. 😍😙 From a fan in South Wales. UK. Stay safe, stay well, Katie and family. Don't get sick, please look after each other! God bless you all!
8:49 The way you say Mancala just is so weird to me. We pronounce it like Man-call-a. It’s just weird to me I don’t know why. I’m used to saying it different I guess.
Sorry Katie but I agree... I way preferred the previous camera angle...seems to lose way too much detail now.. still love your videos tho... please keep them coming 🙃 xx
Gosh this soap and lace and pearl have to be my most favorite soaps you have ever made! How I regret missing the release...I'll have to be sure to catch the next collection!
Hi!! Oregon-born kid here. A hike through the mountains on the coast where I'm from generally smells like cedar and spruce, as well as decaying wood. If you're close to the ocean, it smells like salt water and sea birds. The cities smell like everywhere else, just wetter. We get a lot of mold and musty smells, but it isn't always bad. 😊🌲
I used to love making fairy gardens using "trinkets" when I was younger. Life got busy so I haven't thought of them for awhile but watching this video reminds me of those days. ❤
I adore your videos, I fall asleep with them on auto play at night, just something about your voice and watching you make soap honestly is so relaxing!!!
Ooooh!! Tiny things! My 11 year old son has been nicknamed “ Magpie” since he was 3, he has so many treasures, anything sparkly or tiny, I actually bought him an old treasure chest at a yard sale! We loved this one! 🥰😁
those flat back beads you were talking about, i always called them pebbles, they used to be scattered throughout my whole backyard when i was little and me and my sisters used to collect them. i think at one point they were all together in a garden because there was a pond before i moved here. they were all sorts of colors, green, clear, i think some blue, but my favorite were the deep, ruby red ones. i understand your obsession with little trinkets and shallow dishes and moss and rocks. i still haven't let it all go, it's so gorgeous.
Yeah i agree actually.., small little things make me so emotional and i love them so much. When i was a kid i loved polly pockets and littlest pet shops. I imagined them having their own lives and stories and they made me so happy. I love miniatures 🥰
I prefer camping, but I grew up in a small house, with a small family, in the woods. I like to become even MORE integrated with nature, than living in a country home can provide, and often wish to be able to forget or ignore my attachments to the human world for a bit. This was, by far, the prettiest soap of yours!
Best top ever? And the discolouration made the soap look even better, in my opinion (more... cohesive?). Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us all, Katie! :)
I love the soap! I do wish that you had put a teensy-weeny bit of sparkle on it, though. I am definitely a trinket gal myself!! I love little bits and bobs- since I’m a sewer, I love to collect neat buttons, spoils of threads, tiny bows and ribbons, and beautiful needle cases! 🧵💜
You should do a FRUIT month! I can just imagine a dragon fruit soap!
Thinktothink such a good idea! The base could be white with seeds and the high top could be a dominant pink
Ooooh I love that idea!
I love that! There could be a very thin layer on the top and bottom that’s a vibrant pink and then the middle could be whitish gray with tiny black embeds. Then maybe the top swirls could be white with a tinge of pink to bring it all together.
Ohh, and I'd love to see the kiwi inside "burst". That would be so cool!
That’s a great idea
I’m Guilty of being a tiny things collector. Lots of trinket dishes filled with acorns, crystals, rocks, shells, feathers, dried herbs and sea glass.
Perfect for resin jewelry and such!
I love going to my elderly friends house, she's been collecting things for years, she's got mason jars, bowls, shadow boxes, you name it full of things.

Cerinaya I got a ton of shells from the California beach from when I was 10 and it was my first time in California now I'm 14
I feel like all little girls had the need to mix up mud, sticks, leaves, or rocks or whatever and it’s just an internal need
Can relate. Even as an adult, there's something primal about wanting to stir mud with a stick.
It might not be the same but I used to mix up water and petals/leaves to make fun “drinks”
The desire to attempt witchcraft
Scarlet Bailey I use to do that but to make “soups” and also “perfume”
Elizabeth Bloom omg I made “perfume” too! It always smelled terrible after the second day. My poor grandma had the displeasure of getting one of my “perfumes” for Mother’s Day once😂

April is my birth month and what I wouldn't give for just one truly dark, spoopy-themed soap, like a haunted library or vampire queen or something of the sort.
I would love to see her make a nice gothic soap ,not into the goth esthetic myself necessarily but i think it could make for a beautiful soap.
You should check out miracle forest ASMR 👌
katie! have you ever thought about making an unscented, pretty soap? i love all your soaps, but i have incredibly sensitive skin. on top of that, i feel like everything unscented is so plain, so it would mean the world to me if there was something both pretty and unscented! thanks so much. 🥰❤️
She has made one unscented I thought? She's made many sensitive soaps I know that with natural botanicals.
I know kenneth has stated in a pst video that they dont add fragrance to the soap frosting to maybe get a high top and just use the frosting?
“The things on top are so tiny it makes me want to cry”
Same girl same
Soap idea: Maybe you could make a surfing themed soap. Maybe the soap frosting you could pipe and then use a spoon or something that will make the frosting look like waves. You could maybe even make surf board soap inbeds! Or maybe surf wax inbeds! The inbed options are endless. Just an idea, would probably be pretty difficult to make.
That is a really GREAT IDEA! I would buy one of those for sure!
Molly Express I think she’s done one a long time ago but it sounds good , I have a mold of little surfboards, they’re so cute !
I have a drawing that has a wave on top. I'm about to get started so probably too advanced for a beginner but think it would be really cool. :)
Molly Express!! I would buy so many of those!! She should do a skateboard one too! Omg I would buy so many for my husband and his friends!!
and if she could capture the smell of ocean air!
1) that pop-up at the beginning was super cute.
2) your hair and makeup are perfection today. The brown palette really makes your eyes shine.
That whole little bit about the Pacific northwest is such a sibling moment 😂 beautiful soap as always Katie 💕
My "too small item" that makes me squeal is baby socks. Idk. Just socks. Not the babies, not the little feets they go on, just tiny socks make me so happy
And the teeny tiny shoes!
When you talked about putting the tiny frogs in acorns I wanted to die just because of the cuteness🐸💕
Y’all, the image of frogs in tiny acorn caps just makes me want to cry. Too sweet!!
The Pacific Northwest smells like a mixture of earth sea and pine. It home is smells primordial I love that smile. Pacific northwest is Oregon and Washington On the United States side and then it includes part of Canada

Katie's hair? Adorable!
This month's theme? Adorable!
This soap? Adorable!!!
I’m such a visual person..
So when I imagine frighten little frogs in little acorns I can’t help but laugh. I feel bad 😂😂
Ellie Bellie Watermellie You Smellie No frogs were harmed in the sailing of the acorns! Haha They just tumped out and swam away. 😂
Royalty Soaps
Oh I know sweetie
I feel like they were probably fine but (they’re eyes being so big) they probably just looked frightened 😂
I just imagine them looking confused and just like using the acorn as a protective armor
I love love love how you and your brother interact with each other! He's just as excited as you are about the soap and ingredients 😀

Me living in Oregon: I guess I have to buy one of these bars to fact check that😂
What part of the PNW because I'm in the desert part of Washington

I’m from Bellingham!
Please post your review, I'm curious. :)
I would love to know 😁

We pulled him out the the pool and he jumped right back in like the chlorine filled pool was always his home🙌🙌 I hope the best for his toxic free life.
I totally get your glee with tiny things. Every time I make cute embeds I giggle and dance from the excitement!
Would love to see a vintage Cracker Jack box toy soap.
love the Soaps you make no matter what kind they are. Thank you for sharing.

I've never heard someone pronounce "Mancala" like that before lol "mon-cah-lah" is how I've always said it. idk what's right but it threw me off 😂

This soap is gorgeous!! It gives me forest fairies vibes.
Funny I was already watching one of her older ones when I got the notification 😅
The flowers look like fresh red clover. Such a beautiful color
Katy: Nothing too eerie.
Me: Or is it Eyre-y?
I love the top of this. I always think about how neat a round soap would be that’s just the piping you do
Ive made dolls house miniatures for 6 years now. I'm ready to move on from polymer clay. I'm ready to make soap!! This is sooooo pwetty xxx
I watched one soap video and now it's all you tube recommends...but i dont even mind, its mesmerizing

This has been my favorite series yet. I was, and still am, a trinket-stashing, jewel-collecting, little faerie spirit.
No (i) so I'm answering here - road trip. This is gorgeous!
I love both road tripping and camping! I would never be able to choose between the two!
Can we potentially angle the camera how it was previously or, shoot simultaneously and edit them both in.
I agree. I love watching the piping happen and the details of the embeds. Its lost with the high angle and they seemed so cute!
I’m SO SAD I missed out on purchasing this soap! It’s my personal FAVORITE! ♥️ So beautiful.
