Rules Notes: character stands have to be as close to the center of the formation as possible, next to the command stand, and they have to be on their own stand.
Lights can't score in that small of a block, unless they get a spell buff.
The Elemental Rituals action is a free action, so the maharajah could have cast a spell as well.
Evasion is always an option, the efreet have a 1.
You can't declare a charge unless there's a possibility of making it in, and if you fail you only move what you rolled on the die.
When you do a resolve test, you use the highest resolve in the regiment, if a character stand is attached, you use theirs.
Also. Those hoplites have phalanx, which means they are defense 4 on the front and they cannot roll for a 9 inch charge. They allay go march +3” for the charge. The strategic stack can only add one card to it naturally in a turn.
Such calm gameplay, I'm enjoying this immensively.
Just a little note: According to the current rules, Command Stands must be placed in the center of the front row. And Character Stands must be placed directly next to the Command Stand. You have always placed the Character Stands at the edge of the front row.
The two armies and the board/terrain look wonderful! I appreciate the long form Battle Report, it's great for people to watch while they build and paint.

I have a tiny sorcerer kings force I'm going to collect slowly while I build out my main Hundred Kingdoms. But I'm a sucker for Arabian fantasy themes so had to als9 collect the sorcerer kings

Sorcerer Kings has that complication of being a glass cannon. They do have a very attractive range.

I love the look of the City States minotaurs.
Heroic Last Stand does not require you to have a card, it just happens as soon as the characters unit dies.

Rules note: your clash doesn't go to 5, instead it becomes 4 and you can reroll 6s.

1.5k were my first two (and so far only) games of Conquest :D The game works pretty well even at these point values.
That reminds me, I still have to build a handful of models for our upcoming tournament - a great excuse to take the army to the full 2k points ;)
My local gaming group prefers narrative skirmish games and RPGS, so I had very little interest in 'Rank-n-Flank' battles - until the Sorcerer Kings set was released. Great concept, gorgeous minis. Really nice. Now I just have to talk the rest of the guys into it...
There's rules for doing narrative campaigns on their website, and they put out campaign boxes to go along with the living world storylines.
Additionally when you buy conquest minis you can use them in the First Blood skirmish rules also.
You could get your friends into small skirmish games with the minis, then maybe graduate to the larger armies of Last Argument of Kings if they take to it
As a fellow Greek I bought 100Kingdoms army from the beginning and then I had to go with City States...Wish there was how to paint videos but I am asking to much.😊

At 2:00:30 why did the Windborne Djinn not shoot the Thyreans in the flank? To my knowledge it's possible to shoot into melee in Conquest. Awesome job on the batrep and on covering the Sorcerer Kings this week.

Really good looking armies, I like the minotuars and both the Rakshasa abd the Tiatn look really good. Haven't played and I'm wondering if bringing a giant figure when your opponent doesn't is a almost guaranteed win.

When will they announce the next faction? I feel that given the $$ choosing a faction is a big compromise.
Sorcerer Kings were announced last year and only came out in the last month, I wouldn't expect a new army for a year or more
