No matter what you become, no matter what happens, you don’t disrespect a legend in your field of practice, they may not be right, you can reach out in private but never bashing them publicly. Thank you Sir Edafe, thank you to our Legend, this is a great piece.

This Respect thing is one something that started with this 2000's kids. The problem with our players is that they think playing in europe is the hightest achievement in life. I didnt see Oliseh play much but i have lot of respect for him for his vocalness

Thank you, Sunday. Many of the current footballers are products of the contemporary dysfunctional society at home. Poor value training, poor education, poor upbringing. Oliseh, like Adokie, Odegbami and many others back then, had proper education (MBHS, CMS, Finbarrs, Igbobi - these were serious missionary schools with strong value orientation). The problem is within the larger society.

Where do i start from. I love the articulation, questions, the way Sunday Oliseh broke things down. Like you have always said, there seems to be discipline lacking in the way the SE is set up. I believe a lot of us act on emotions rather that facts that is why we keep expecting results in places we did not sow. I am a die hard SE fan however going to the world cup would take a miracle. I wish i could be proven wrong and eat my words but based on the facts on ground, we shall all watch this world cup from home. Thank you for this lovely interview. As for Odogwu, he should remember that as he is pointing fingers and ratting people out, his own turn will surely come.

It was Oliseh that first insulted Mikel on your Podcast with Babayaro. Oliseh said Mikel has no attacking quality and is only useful defensively. So, why did you play Paul Onobi ahead of Mikel. Oliseh was clearly grudging Mikel because if Mikel scored one of the best goals of any super eagle in history against Uruguay by creating and scoring himself, please, ask Oliseh what was that, if not attacking. Mikel against Burkina faso threw a sweet pass to Brown Ideye who curled it superbly to Emenike 🎉.
Oliseh voiced his opinion and Mikel voiced his as well. Mikel has made countless passes to strikers that has resulted into goals. Mikel is also one of the best defensive midfielders Nigeria ever had. Oliseh was also good but you can't say such things publicly about a player because we all watch the same football. Oliseh should please tell us where is Paul Onobi or kindly compare Onobi's career to Mikel's career?

During his time in super eagles, Obi Mikel was one of our best players if not the best. Troost Ekong recently named Mikel as the best player he ever played with in super eagles.

@Ayphillydegreat... hahaha. PAUL ONOBI fled to oblivion after that game... so you think Mikel Obi as a captain who got benched for poor performance in a prior game against an African Minnow, you think that Mikel won't use influence to make sure that guy Paul Onobi never got another callup to the national team after Oliseh left? Go and watch the game that Paul Onobi played and benched Mikel Obi and tell us how far? Don't kill or badmouth a talent for God's grace... even @2019 Afcon Gernot Rohr discovered Mikel Obi's good days were behind him and he relegated him to bench spot. Oliseh has blasted open the truth by this interview... Mikel Obi with his white exotic wife... a man who loves snowflakes choose one different than his mother who birthed him... you will wonder why he has no respect for his family.

My name is Sunday Ogochukwu Oliseh, and if you are Igbo, I'm sorry, I am not Igbo.
Sunday Oliseh and his identity crisis is the one that needs help.
Firstly, Mikel had a great football career than you.
Mikel is a better player than Oliseh.
Mikel enjoyed more recognition and success in football than Oliseh.
During their playing days, Mikel made more impact on Nigeria than Oliseh.
Even as young as Mikel is - he can advise Oliseh. So i implore Oliseh to kindly call him for an update.
Sunday, please let us know what happened in USA 94 against Roberto Baggio. You cost us a fortune for quarter finals.
Please focus on your coach career and leave John obi mikel alone.
You claimed Juventus - how many games did you play. Stop eulogising too much.
    Thank you.

Sunday Oliseh openly declined comment on Osimhen's Instagram outburst against Finidi but said no one could speak against any of the France 98 squad.
Secondly, oliseh contradicted himself when he said he never talks about himself but later admitted he could advice a player to pass a certain way because he has played in Juventus etc and pass that way but the players he's coaching have not.
I love oliseh but he's not perfect and needs advice from leaders just like he's giving Mikel advice.

This write up need help, Sir... Nawa o! Was it the same interview we watched sha.
He said colleagues of old super eagles team should do better in defending their teammates. That the France 98 team are a strong bond that defends each other publicly. Btw, he spoke well of Finidi throughout the interview which was a defence of his criticism. His choice of not speaking about Osimhen & his outburst is personal & should be respected.
Also, he didn't contradict himself when he said he doesn't speak about himself. He said he only does that to INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS(to pass over some secrets) not to the TEAM! He specifically mentioned individuals because that's the normal thing to do when teaching someone. As for the team, it will be inappropriate to flaunt your past glories. That's what I believe he said.
      Great Interview by the way!
