This was probably one of my favorite 2600 games. I love the the gameplay, the adventure aspect, you can actually tell what the creatures are...such a classic.
@@mahony007 I believe it was 80000 to 100000 points. My first night playing this game I've scored over 100000 points sent the picture in but never received the patch.
Totally a game I'd nearly forgotten about until someone on AtariAge mentioned it! I think my friend had this then I borrowed it (I had Bermuda Triangle myself)....But that's a guess because I recognize it so well...Even the box I've seen before yet I don't see it in my collection...
is a great game! loved the 2600... i remember asked my mom to buy me a nintendo + mario bros but she just can afford to buy the 2600.... i was dissapointed at first but wow, was incredible! it had a ton of integrated games and one of it was the submarine. plus she got the super mario bros cartridge for atari. great times!
The MAIN problem with the two player games is that you had to wait for the other player to die until it was your turn. It did not let you play one level and then the other guy play it. My fiends were always so much better than I was that I had long stretches of just watching. .
I didn't like this game at first because I didn't know you had to go up to the surface to drop off your six divers. The sharks do actually look like sharks, though. Good game - it'd still satisfy me now - games like Pacman Atari wouldn't
dismal score there buddy... that game doesn't even start to get good for at least another hour bare minimum... has to be one of the best games of all time... once you get past about 2-2.5mil it lights your brain on fire.... then you just try to ride the lightning as long as you can.. no gaming experience ever came close to this game for me..
Wow this game and that sound brings back so many memories of spending entire weekends playing this game.
maybe my favorite 2600 game, lots of childhood memories
mine too

i played this when i was 3 or 4 years old. scored a million points. parents took a picture of it on the polaroid camera. still have the picture.
where?
Bende
You received a free patch if you scored over a certain score and sent Activision a picture.
You scored a million points as a 3 year old? Calling bull shit on that one.

One of the best Atari 2600 games without a doubt. Great replay value even to this day. Can't say that about 98 percent of Atari games.
It 2017, and still, it's my favourite game
Favorite game on any system?? Like of all time??
The most satisfying sound in the word: When you kill a mini-submarine in Seaquest
Seaquest, Demon Attack, & Frogger!!!! Favorite Atari 2600 games🕹
Seaquest and Yars Revenge. My favorites. Just simple, frantic and fun.
One of many activision classic. Loved it when i was 4 yo. Seaquest and keystone kappers
LONG before the days of the TV show by that name!
After Pitfall 2, this is probably the best Atari 2600 game (although I played the hell out of Video Pinball and Warlords).
i still play this from time to time on my hacked wii with a 2600 emulator
the scratchy audio of yesteryear bring back memories :)
I used to play the shit out of this game back in the day.

This looks more like something related to "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" than what would eventually become "Crash Dive".
One of the later Atari Games .my favourite was River Raid
I remember playing this back in 1989 I was 11 yrs old!!
me in 1991!
Marcos Vazquez I would still play this game right now! Nostalgia!!

Nostalgic 80s......Activision's games for Atari 2600 was the best....👍👍👍👍
one of the best atari games (top five) !
Yeah I agree with that. I loved this game as a kid. This, and star master were my favorites.
I think this was the last Atari 2600 game I ever bought.
Me gusta el sonido que hace cuando se llena la energia igual que el de megamania

Glad I didn't waste money or a birthday present on this one, but unfortunately I saddled myself instead with Barnstorming!
