Carlisle: An Hour at Kingmoor Depot.
01 August 23
For a change I spend an hour on the overbridge at Etterby, with its view north into Kingmoor depot and south towards Caldew Junction.
We see a couple of locos moving around the depot, one indeed being prepared for a run to Crewe. Other trains pass both northwards and southwards. The Northbound Tesco intermodal stops for a crew change and blocks the southern exit from the depot!
Any observations are my own and not intended to show any authority and may show my misunderstanding.
