Maxpedition Micro: A Budget Friendly Pocket Organizer

  • *Correction: It seems the zippers ARE YKK, mine just has a faded imprint.
I have my qualms with the direction Maxpedition has gone but their older style gear is amazing (although sometimes overpriced). This bit of kit is definitely affordable at $15-20 and holds all the EDC essentials the average person would need.

First, I have bought many Maxpedition products and they are outstanding, however, yes you pay more for made in the USA but we have to support small US businesses. I bought one of the US made organizers, and it is well made.

Just because it’s US made doesn’t mean it’s quality, or something that is considered a bargain(made decent at a reasonable price) by the masses.

Why, especially if the product is comparable? Globalization has improved the average quality of life for Americans for decades.
Want to buy everything made in the USA by small businesses? Enjoy paying $220 for a pair of jeans, $600 for your boots and $300 for your knives. Offshoring is popular for a reason.

Good and concise review, round your videos while trying to find a pocket organiser exactly like this but with a proper pocket on the front rather than a mesh one. Will definitely be checking out more of your videos.

I knew you were a skinny jeans guy! :) I'm not really into those small cases as I'm in a suit on work days and don't keep sht in my pockets but if your going to organized - be like Joe. Sans the dingleberry.

@@WeFightTheDark My main EDC is a Chrome Industries Lako 3 way tote but the most important thing in that bag is the Peak Design Tech Pouch, nobody can convince me there is - or will ever be a better organizers. It’s the best of the best gold standard that will never be replaced.

In my country it costs 40$. And only one place sells them. I went with Magpul daka utility organiser which was little under the price of this. But i still find myself wanting it... Magpul is great piece of gear but i dont need that big pouch for my edc. I "only" carry leatherman, olight baton 3 pro, open glow, rite in rain pad and a bolt pen. Plus two very short cables. DUO is just halfway filled with that stuff.

Those daka pouches are solid I hear! I need to pick one up sometime to play with them. There are some budget alternatives out there but I don''t know what theyd be in your country. One I know of is LefRight on Amazon. They probably aren't as durable but may be cheaper..

Budget friendly and decent quality for the money, but too large and they should be ashamed to call it " micro ".
I have since moved on to something else, and am about to move on to yet another.
