Excited for that dad bag video! I've got my second daughter on the way in a few months. Love the idea of creating a modular system of pouches that fit inside others, so for instance your phone charger is always located in your hub pouch, which may be placed inside your sling, which may be placed inside your backpack if you need more and more room.

Loved the gbg mighty pouch plus I bought two also have the hub pouch and love it as well but I mostly use the mighty pouch plus. A tip everyday minimalist said for scoring a gbg pouch is to use Apple Pay for the quickest purchase option 🤙🏼

Nice video! I've been searching for the perfect EDC pouches for the last16 yrs or so and started back then with a little nylon glove pouch to hold my mini flashlight and Victorinox Midnite Mini Champ. After than I tried various point and shoot camera pouches, etc. I think I'll order one of these Alpakas and give it a go.
As for your comments about only having slings with minimal internal organization, have you looked at the Vanquest Dendrite Large sling? I picked one up earlier this year and it's by far my favorite small/EDC sling.
The search for the perfect EDC never ends! Awesome that you've been trying different configs to see what works for you. I have seen the Dendrite L and considered it, but at a 4L capacity, it's too big for what I wanna use it for, despite the tradeoff of minimal to no organization inside.
Recently I have been running with the Aer Go Sling 2, and so far it fits the bill (wallet pun intended) of being a small volume sling with a surprising amount of pockets and options inside. Glad you are having success with the Dendrite L!

Ordered an Alpaka Pouch Pro the other day to use as a pocket organizer. I plan to use the main pocket as a wallet, hold my knife on the single outside pocket, and my key organizer in the backside. We’ll see if that works as well I plan 😅

i have been lucky enough to get the garage built gear mighty + pouch and its amazing. top quality and has tons of space for my edc items. i have the alpaca hub pouch too its amazing. its my second choice if cant score a gbg pouch

Great video. I came across your channel on accident. Not a fan of GBG at all although I've never had one in hand as I can't get one from him either. The thing with that though is that there's always sellers on eBay that have them for 2x - 3x the price he sells them for. If he likes to make sure people can acquire them,, he needs to not sell to resellers like that. Hinderer knives have the same issue. I do have an alpaka waiting in my mailbox for me though. Can't wait to get that

He's a one-man crew so I think it's just a case of overwhelming demand and not enough capacity to handle it. I don't think he intends to sell to resellers, but there are always opportunists out there. ALPAKA hub pouch is legit tho enjoy that one 👏🏼👏🏼

I've been trying to get a Garagebuilt gear pouch for months and I've left my contact info but I haven't been successful. Some are reselling on ebay? at 5/10 times the amount. I'm currently carrying the Alpaka hub pouch in Olive. I do love it, gbg is a definitely I want one 😆.
Best way tbh is to turn notifications on everything with GBG's Instagram and FB group and have your apple pay setup to maximize efficiency. Then pray to the pouch gods lool. Best of luck!!

I just grabbed a GBG mighty pouch +, i could never get one during a drop on the website so i just bought one from one of the many flippers on ebay. Brand new sealed garage fresh, youll pay double retail but you can get it now no rush and choose the color you want. Is this pouch worth $100? Yes, all day.
Yea secondary market is CRAZY but I'm glad you were able to get one. Stoked to finally see what the GBG hype is about, and there are a few pouch brands that are coming up too that I'm checking out. What a time to be alive as an EDC enthusiast 😭😭😭
ive used this modular setup as a loadout system way before the new tsunami of a trend for all things EDC pouches and GBG fanboys.. the one difference though is an added piece that i would personally fit in between the sling, which is use as well, and the small backpack.. which is the forever underrated chest- rig, used in a similar way to any basic sling except ready for higher movement and active based scenarios like jogging or a light hike.. accessibility is also a massive plus since you just need to reach right up under your neck and take out whatever you need while moving and staying agile.

Your best bet is to get them on the secondary. If you're willing to pay above retail they are always absolutamente) available. In my honest opinion, not worth more than retail.

Pouches are a fad for sure. But I've always been a sucker for organization so yeah, I'll participate 🤓
I think Alpaka is superior to GBG because it has a better size for EDC. They just need better exterior colors

I'll actually disagree with this comment. I have both and the Alpaka Hub pouch is smaller than the GBG. I actually stopped using the GBG because even that was a bit small for me.
