This almost brings tears to my eyes? I felt my late mom is helping me from up above right now? She was a great seamstress and she knew that no matter how much I tried, I could never learn how to use a sewing machine? I have to buy clothes online because I'm Disabled? And I have bags of bags of clothes I was gonna give away cos I lost alot of weight? So thank you, to say the least..💖💖💖 hugs
Great tutorial, because many people don't know the difference in all the brands out there. You're right, Fabric Fusion is a must-have for every sewing chest. As a professional costumer, it's my go-to when I'm out doing a show and don't have the option of taking my sewing machine for quick repairs or embellishments.
I use FabriTac on just papers, too. A lot of glues are too wet and wrinkle the paper. Glue sticks aren't always strong enough. I thin fabritac with acetone and use a small squeeze bottle with a small tip for the glue and it works well.
My only issue with the Fabric Fusion is that it's not tacky enough. I know the whole point of Fabri-Tac is to be tacky, but I find working with the solvent base really irritating. But if you try to do small hems with the Fabric Fusion is tough because you have to clamp it so thoroughly.
Can these be used for making mask? I just dont want it to be toxic or anything. I have a ganglion cyst on my wrist from sewing and this would help me keep making mask for my family.
That's a good question 🤔 I know these glues are for fabrics, however I have only ever used them in journal making. There is a strong smell to them but it does fade after the glue is dry. I don't want to tell you its not toxic only because I'm not 100% sure.... sorry!!!
Aikun ihana translation to english is like "how wonderful". My origin is Finnland too. I don't have both of those clues here in Germany and my hubby didn't buy any clue from Las Vegas (but he brought some paper pads and dies). I liked the way you made the corners of the page. Interesting clues. Have a happy day Alia!
Oh wow! Thank you for the translation 💙 the more I use the fabric fusion, I'm not so sure how I feel about it, I have mixed feelings. For now I'll continue to use it until it's gone then make a decision about it 😊 so paper pads and dies! How exciting to receive!!
Thank you for the demonstration...It's still a great too see after time ... I'm moving away from fabric tac.. I wouldn't dear spread fabric tac with my finger ... that glue stays on me forever .. it gloops and pours to slow ..ya fabric tac is around 20$ in Michaels.. I bought my share of it 👎 💜🎶🇨🇦
Really??? Lol I'm the opposite 😅 I now love fabritac and use it all the time, the other one not so much though. I now buy my fabritac at WALMART or at Michael's with the 40% off coupon. Fun fact... I like peeling off the glue on my fingers lol but normally I use my little pink finger cover.
Hmm 🤔🤔 very interesting. Fabri-tac & I have a love hate relationship lol. It's my fave yet incredibly frustrating lol So I'll have to keep this in mind!! TFS
I think my Walmart is around that price, I like to wait to get a Michael's coupon because it's just a tad cheaper 🤣🤣 its just really expensive in general 😖
Not sure? I've never tried to do that. However, if I was going to, I would definitely use the Fabri-tac glue. Probably apply small amounts around the lining of the lampshade and smooth out the glue with my finger to make sure no glue bleeds thru, then apply the fabric. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful....
I've actually never tried the fabric fusion on any type of ribbon. As of now, I'm not such a big fan of it. Going forward I will be using only fabri-tac
Hi, I have only used these glues on papers and fabrics that are used in a junk journal. So I'm not sure how well it does with water. However if I had to give an opinion, I'd say the Fabri-tac is a better glue. I've stopped using the fabric fusion. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Which fabric adhesive are you still using today as your favorite?
Fabritac! Definitely Fabritac 😉 hands down my favorite go to glue!

Thank you for demonstrating the Fabric Fusion. There’s a comparison between FT and silicon that’s also very interesting!

I would definitely go with the Fabri-tac 👍

How would you glue fabric to a lampshade please?

I will try it. Thanks for this video. My hands ache sometimes and squeezing out FabriTac is a struggle.
Yes I agree with you, getting the fabritac out is always a fuss lol

Can fabric fusion be use for satin without ruining it? Like dis coloration?

Okay. Thanks for the info. I want a flexible glue that doesn't get stiff and affected by water
I'm going to have to check out your videos... I want to use the glue on clothes
Is fabritac long lasting?
Yes, I find it is 🙂
why fabric to paper, it should be fabric to fabric?
It's because I make junk journals and use the glue to adhere fabric or lace to paper
Can you show how to make medical masks. With heppa filter vacume bags.

How/where you get 50% off coupon?
I have the Michael's app on my phone so I get all the different coupons they offer. When a 40 or 50% one comes up, that's when I like to buy the glue
Which glue use for pure cotton fabric ?

less viscous
Fabric fusion is more "liquid " fabritac is thicker but better.
