Nursing is chaotic, and can be toxic...we really have to choose wisely where to work that would work for us... that's what I'm trying to find out' I need to find my niche in the nursing field.. I have a passion of caring' like, I love what i do. But medsurg is just a different kind of stress level... 🥺
I always talk to our manager, to my preceptor about my struggles ... and they've always been a great help ... a 5 min break to breath kinda helps me too ❤

Finding the right place is detrimental to managing such a busy career for sure ❤ I'm glad you are supported and yes having 5 minutes to gather yourself back up is so helpful! ❤

Thank you Faye such a helpful video❤ this is something I have been so worried about as a autistic woman going out on placements terrifies me due to overwhelming sounds. Very helpful video thank you Faye ❤

I'm so glad it was helpful to you, I fully understand the anxiety with facing placements, but you've got this I promise! ❤

Hey, I'm diagnosed ADHD and suspect I'm ASD as well. Just started my first year of mental health nursing and I absolutely love your videos, didn't realise you were neurodivergent! Your suggestions are so helpful thank you :) in terms of ADHD, do you say "I have ADHD" or "I am ADHD"? Or something completely different? I don't really like saying I have ADHD, as it kind of makes me feel like it's an illness x

Hi Chloe 🥰 awww amazing, you're going to LOVE it! Thank you that's so lovely of you ❤ I think it's personal preference? I say I'm autistic with ADHD etc, it's whatever you feel is best for you 🥰❤
