Did you think it's possible to do the same with only wood? little pieces of woods into big holes or i don't know ? i dont like epoxy. But really really good job 👍👍
Reminds me of lily pads. The contrasting sapwood really makes the end grain pop. The cracks are part of the unique look. The adjustable legs are just another amazing part of this piece.

Man you are an artist. It is certainly a masterpiece. I like your videos because there is no commentary, just soothing music and your dedicated work. Black filling really create a good impression as compared to a candyland pink, red, green etc.
Again Marmota, a lovely piece of work. It's more than just a desk. It's definitely an art form. Thoroughly enjoy all your builds and I've certainly learned a lot just from watching these.
@@jonnywright3995 Not this time. This is a very dense wood that was barely going to absorb. In addition, I used very little black stain in the epoxy. There hasn't been any staining issue.
Amazing color. I always watch those videos, some are sped up and projects are finished within 15 to 20 minutes. And then me sanding for hours in my shop like crazy. If I'm finished with a staircase and an oak and epoxy kitchen island my next project will be a desk. This video reminded me, I have some wild plum tree stumps stored somewhere, dried for years now.
The puzzle work with the cookies is my favorite part about this. Super clean! We have talked about doing a floor treatment like this but haven't tried it, yet..

Very beautiful and very Marmota-y. The wood has a lovely colour and it was a good idea to give the desktop a slightly lighter appearance. Also, great shot where you apply the first coat of finish! And lastly: I really like the colours and design of your jacket.

Plum has such a beautiful colour, common ash pre cut and left in the woods can gain a deep red tint as well due to bacteria. The black mould in neglected maple logs can also make a stunning pattern, if caught before the wood rots.
