- We are getting settled into our new house and I've been so excited to share with y'all! We started the design process back in December 2018 and it has been so much fun to design every last detail! Greg and I worked closely on the design and floor plan stage and then he handed over the reigns and said "I can't wait to see it when it's done!" In other words I had free rein on most every detail inside the house and he hands down get the Husband of the Year award ;) It turned out to be my dream home and we are beyond thankful for this opportunity. All blessings come from above and we hope to use this house to honor and glorify the Lord.

Hello! What a beautiful home and such a blessing. As an interior designer, I would say to go black with the entry table. It will pop and make a statement for the entry. You have great taste - I'm sure you will make all the right choices.

I am in love with your house. It is completely gorgeous. Your kitchen, butler room, and master bath are my favorite!
For the built ins I would keep favorite books(just a few), and decor that ties on the colors you are using(from what I see), black, brass or gold, dark blue, beige and maybe some of greenery. I personally love succulents but of course you can use what you want. If you are into basic diy decor, Krafty girl on YT does videos on this. :)
Quartz is the best way to go if you have a children!
Many people don’t realize how much a pain in the rear granite is. Marble looks nice. It again, it can be difficult getting out the deep stains like pink. The pink came out of our quartz with baking soda and a splash of bleach. You highlighted exactly why we would never have anything else beyond Quartz in our kitchen. We had white Quartz in our last house but this time we went with cement. I personally prefer solid looking countertops. Love how yours has minimal patterns! Great designs with a great builder.

Beautiful home wonderful details ! We built a butler pantry ended up w/ a second kitchen when we company the mess stays out of site ,we love it ! We failed to think brooms vacuum storage . My fav is your laundry being connected to the master closet and children /guest being able use laundry w/o invading the master bedroom.
I would say black for the console table bc the office hardware is black. Love the mirrors!!!

Definetly paint the foyer console table black. It would look so awesome! I love your choices for everything! For the laundry room, have you seen the silver wall mounted adjustable multi-bar drying racks. These would look great in that space, as they would save some floor space. I absolutely LOVE your pantry with the microwave, vacuum closet w/electrical outlet inside (My dream!), and second dish washer!

Quartz is extremely sensitive to heat. Never put a hot pot or baking sheet directly on your quartz top. You will permanently damage it. Congratulations on your new home. Very lovely.
It’s manmade quartz, not natural quartzite. Quartz is resistant to heat. That is one of the main selling points.
