- #CortezBuild was a spec build located in Scottsdale, AZ, with our Build Partners, E&S Builders + Modern Splendor Homes, over the course of nine and a half months! The original home, which we tore down to completely start from scratch, sat on a lot that was just under 1.25 acres in the Cactus Corridor area of Scottsdale, which is considered a true oasis in the desert. The completed home boasts a floor plan that's just under 7,200 sqft and is equal parts functional, aesthetically stunning, and very representative of our signature style, Organic Desert Living™!

I love everything you guys did!!! I don't think the bed you chosen looks impeccable as the rest of the house style and furnishings!!! I have the same taste but never know how to put it all together!! I bet this was lots of planning because there are so many gorgeous pieces to choose from and what style do you want to go with because you could have done it like the modern farmhouse and so on! I feel this style is California vibes on a grape farm estate home!!

I just discovered your youtube channel. Kristen I watched the video of your home that you are moving out of to move into your new build and it was so funny to see someone's home look so much like mine in the design style. Even your backyard looks similar to mine with the white brick walls. One of the spec homes you designed finally gave me some vindication, I am in the process of designing my kitchen and wanted a dark slab counter with a marble backsplash slab but I had no idea what it would look like and was sort of afraid that it might look a bit odd, but then I saw it in one of the kitchens you designed and it looked amazing, whew!
