@ 1m35s - Us yelling at screen 'Did she just pour beef stock out of a bowl into another bowl that was the same size?!?!" Recipe looks great, can't wait to try it.
Mahalo in all of the ways it is meant to be interpreted, You have helped me bring unity to my family! I speak for all of us when I say keep up your amazing work!
Great recipe! Easy ingredients and you can make a bunch of these, just get more meat and eggs each time. Can be breakfast, lunch or dinner, super versatile recipe.
Wife and I just returned from a week in Kauai yesterday (sob !!). Had this version of Loco Moco first, then had it a few days later with Korean BBQ chicken. WOW !! Such an easy dish to make, but, oh so delicious !!!
I just ate lunch and I think if you set this in front of me, I could eat again. I'm not even Hawaiian and only visited once, but I miss the "Ono grindz"! Thanks for posting.
Sooo Ono, make it every time I get home sick (Makaha), which lately is to often 😜, only difference, I use chicken broth, lill more ketchup and ground garlic. Then before putting on the patty I pour the gravy on the rice and then on the patty (love my gravy) and I can’t help adding a slice or two of fried Spam. Mahalo and Aloha 🤙🏼❤️🤠
It's very important to keep a damp towel over the wrappers to avoid them drying out. When they get dry, it is significantly more difficult to roll without breaking the wrapper.
We made this loco moco recipe for dinner this week and it was delicious! To change things up we actually made it with ground Turkey and it worked great. Thank you!
Hooo, watchout! This is amazing. Thanks for the updated version. I miss HI so much, especially Rainbow Drive-in loco moco. This version is very flavorful and rewarding for the extra effort. Now if only I can get my fried egg to be as perfect as yours... Mahalo.
Thanks for the great recipe and great video! I film and edit a podcast called the Hawaii vacation connection podcast. Just wondering if I can feature this video in the podcast. This week its on Hawaiian food. I would for sure give credit to your channel! Thank you!
Thank you SO much for this recipe!! I’m excited to try it out🥰 Here is some good news for you! For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV “and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:30-31 KJV
If you intend to make a video ASMR please note it as such, some of us are completely turned away by the sounds of someones mouth and tongue slapping around.
This gravy was too tangy for my taste, I prefer a more savory than sour taste..also I found that the consistency is better with flour rather than corn starch..with corn starch it's more gelatinous whereas with flour it has more of a creamy texture
Turn down the sensitivity of your microphone. I literally can hear your saliva in your mouth moving around. I’m sure I’m not the only one noticing this.
I tried this recipe but found 1.5 lbs of beef was way too much for 4 servings. Ended up with huge thick dry patties. :/ taste wasn't the same as I had in Hawaii too.
Made this for dinner tonight. This will be my go to recipe for loco moco now. Thanks for the awesome recipe!
Didn't it look like her ingredients were more than what was stated in the list on most things? Or am I trippin?
@ 1m35s - Us yelling at screen 'Did she just pour beef stock out of a bowl into another bowl that was the same size?!?!" Recipe looks great, can't wait to try it.

Hahaha😂😂 i didnt even notice that 😂
I miss this awesome foods in Hawaii. In my country, we don’t have this food.

That hurt my soul im glad I'm not the only one. Still looked good though
Mahalo in all of the ways it is meant to be interpreted, You have helped me bring unity to my family!
I speak for all of us when I say keep up your amazing work!
Made Loco Moco for my parents for the first time tonight, using THIS recipe, it was a HUGE hit! Can't recommend it enough!
Great instructions, I will try this tonight. A friend made this for our church meeting and it was delicious. Thank you!
Went to Hawaii last summer and ate nothing but these 😂 i feel in love with the recipe and now i make it weekly lol so gooood
Great recipe! Easy ingredients and you can make a bunch of these, just get more meat and eggs each time. Can be breakfast, lunch or dinner, super versatile recipe.
Looks easy enough. I am going to try it right away. Adding onion sounds good.
The gravy makes all the difference.
Just made it for my dinner tonight. Delicious😋
My favorite home comfort food. I like to add Kim chi and cut up cucumbers on the side... so Ono and broke da mout 🥰
Wife and I just returned from a week in Kauai yesterday (sob !!). Had this version of Loco Moco first, then had it a few days later with Korean BBQ chicken. WOW !! Such an easy dish to make, but, oh so delicious !!!
Can't wait to try this. Looks so Ono. When I leave the islands, I crave Loco moco, but have never found a gravy that is worthy.
Tried this today and it was so good! The gravy was awesome!
Just got back from Kona for work and this was the best breakfast I’ve had in a years
Aloha! I just returned from a visit to Hawaii where I was introduced to this delicious dish! I will be making it soon! Mahalo!
That sounds wonderful! You'll enjoy this recipe 🤤
Thank you from France.
We made this yesterday and it was incredible!
Mahalo 🤙🏽
I just ate lunch and I think if you set this in front of me, I could eat again. I'm not even Hawaiian and only visited once, but I miss the "Ono grindz"! Thanks for posting.
I am making this for supper this week. Excellent job as always.
Love this recipe nd its so tummy
Dont forget a lil siracha drizzle 👌
Sooo Ono, make it every time I get home sick (Makaha), which lately is to often 😜, only difference, I use chicken broth, lill more ketchup and ground garlic. Ohhhh that sounds soooo ono!! Great tip 😄
Ha! I was thinking it would be good with spam! I wanna do it with a fish pate too.
I make this dish all the time. I like mine simple. This has to be the best recipe I've seen yet. Love it!❤
I am not even a big gravy fan but this looks amazing!
Absolutely Fantastic So Ono. Mahalo Nui Loa 🌸🤙🥂
Inspirational! I will make this soon :)
One of my faves. Yummers!!
I didn't have worchester sauce, so I used apple cider vinegar instead. Still came out awesome. Made me miss the island more!
you could use soy sauce too
Or you could ferment anchovies for a couple years. LOL.
This looks
Really good
great recipe, as someone that's new to cooking the end result was awesome and it tasted awesome
That looks so good! similar to my recipe. I love to add the onions and mushrooms to my loco mocos! what a awesome job.
Love it!! You know what's missing right? Potato Mac salad!!😂. I know it's on your list!😂 love your videos!
Ayeee true dat!
That's because it would be too much for most people to take in, got to ease them into the full aloha food paradise that Hawaii is.
It's very important to keep a damp towel over the wrappers to avoid them drying out. When they get dry, it is significantly more difficult to roll without breaking the wrapper.
I like the music....its got a really Hawaiian feeling.... oh and the recipe looks delicious, but how could Loco moco not be? 😁
We made this loco moco recipe for dinner this week and it was delicious! To change things up we actually made it with ground Turkey and it worked great. Thank you!
I want to try it with some kind of fish pate!
Using this exact recipe day after tomorrow with my girlfriend in Vermont. Thank you!
You can use a potato masher to mix it...It works well if you are one of the people who doesn't like the feeling of raw meat even through gloves.
i miss eating this back home. Now i'm getting homesick :L, but atleast i can simulate home by this recipe so thank you for that.
Looks delish 👍👍
It’s soo good!!! My local asian grocery store sells it fresh. Now I want to try making it
I’m going to attempt this because I miss the Hawaii
Great Vid Tain ❤️ gonna make this
Aloha im drooling 🤤 🥞🍚🍛🍳
Great recipe + how to pronounce Worcestershire sauce correctly
Hooo, watchout! This is amazing. Thanks for the updated version. I miss HI so much, especially Rainbow Drive-in loco moco. This version is very flavorful and rewarding for the extra effort. Now if only I can get my fried egg to be as perfect as yours... Mahalo.
I am going to try this with the exception of the egg. Looks great!
Hoooo, sistah! I’m making this tonight! 🤗
I'm making this tonight for my family, minus the mushrooms. 😋
Gracias por los subtítulos
Great Sunday brunch recipe! Didn't have a chance to try when in Hawaii
Making this tonight!
Love it!
Damn that looks so good
Hi do you have a hawaii style mac salad recipe in your arsenal ? Can’t wait if you do thank you
do I have to put Worcester sauce in it? what if I don't have this sauce? I want to cook this for my mom but this is the only ingredient I don't have.
Everyone original loco moco from Hawaii is supposed to come with the gravy on top of the egg not on the bottom of the egg🙅🏻
I'm gonna save time and season some McCormick brown gravy instead lol 😆 😋. Add a patty, rice and egg... DONE ✔ 👍!
Love a good Loco moco! You got a good recipe for making Portuguese sausage for us landlocked stateside?
To make Portuguese sausage, not yet. But I can add it to the list 😄
@@OnoHawaiianRecipes Mahalo! I'll keep my eyes open!
Definitely last meal worthy 👍
Well done.
This was freakin' BOMB! Thanks for the recipe! I can't wait to make other recipes from your channel! ❤
It is basically what is called Salisbury Steak...with a fried egg on top, and then placed on a serving of rice.
Hamburger steak with grilled onions and gravy.
Thanks for the great recipe and great video! I film and edit a podcast called the Hawaii vacation connection podcast. Just wondering if I can feature this video in the podcast. This week its on Hawaiian food. I would for sure give credit to your channel! Thank you!
Hello! What's in seasoning salt?
what kind of mushrooms is suitable to be used to make this?
Ok its chopped sirloin steak fried egg and green onion.looks good
No schugar in the gravy?
What kind of mushroom
That local moco look so Ono.
What is seasoning salt?
Ah...the memories...
I like kalua pork or home made portuguese sausage loco moco....
Do you think I could use chicken stock instead of beef stock?
Yes you can, I actually interchanged the stocks sometimes whenever I ran out of it...and it still tasted good.
Use chicken all the time, much beddah then beef. 🤙🏼❤️🇺🇸🤠
Yum 🤤

How can u say updated and have classic in the title 🤷♂️
Anyone who can pronounce Hawai'i properly gets my vote, I'm making this tonight! Mahalo nui loa
This has nothing to do with the fast food chain, right?
Less opaque. Opaque means not transparent. Onions come opaque.
Thank you SO much for this recipe!! I’m excited to try it out🥰
Here is some good news for you!

Oooooo doggy that look like it broke the mouth!!!!
❤❤
This is the one.
Loco Loco 😂
I'm assuming this is 4 servings?
This is like Salsberry steak
🤤🤤🤤
I was thinking about yummy vegan versions. Loco moco is good any old way. 😍
808!
Its a Salisbury steak.... only difference is the soy sauce
If you intend to make a video ASMR please note it as such, some of us are completely turned away by the sounds of someones mouth and tongue slapping around.
Broke da mout
Recipe looks great except that I got really grossed out that she’s making patties with her rings on 🤮
You're not the one eating it.... 😌 you do it however you want in the comfort of your own privacy.
When I'm in a rush, I cheat and use Costco hamburger patties. Yes, it's not as good, but when you're desperate...................
This gravy was too tangy for my taste, I prefer a more savory than sour taste..also I found that the consistency is better with flour rather than corn starch..with corn starch it's more gelatinous whereas with flour it has more of a creamy texture
Hmm. Maybe use molasses instead of soy sauce.
Loco moco has no mushrooms and onions. With onions instead of egg is hamburger steak.
Turn down the sensitivity of your microphone. I literally can hear your saliva in your mouth moving around. I’m sure I’m not the only one noticing this.
Soy sauce...
