Best soaps available and for reasonable money from a small family owned business. Great people and outrageous customer service. I was a loyal TOBS user before I found Sterling.

Couldn’t agree more man. That’s why they have always been my number 1, even though I have soaps from many different artisans. Can’t beat Stirling.

Stirling is amazing. I’ve collected enough soaps now that I’ll go for a week or two without using one and when I do I’m surprised at just how well it compares to those more expensive ones. It’s so easy to lather and most of the fragrances are great. The two on your list that I have are Vanilla Sandalwood and Haverford. Both of them are outstanding but Haverford is a knockout. I got the aftershaves as well and Haverford lasts for an entire day. I couldn’t imagine a time where Stirling isn’t available. I hope they continue doing well for decades to come. Thanks for the video. I also appreciate your support. Have a great weekend!

      Thanks for watching Eric!
Yeah, I agree that Stirling performs just about as well as the pricier soaps. I've mentioned in past videos that when you properly lather Stirling and hydrate it just right, the slickness , cushion and post shave feel are about the same as the pricier soaps. And it's just insane that they sell it for so cheap, you just cant beat it. Easily the best price to performance ratio of any soap. If I had to use only Stirling for the rest of my life I wouldn't be too upset. I'm glad you enjoy haverford as much as I do! Since the splash is so cheap I might as well just snag it. That scent is outstanding for sure.
I'm always happy to support and I look forward to more of your videos! Take care and enjoy your weekend!

I agree with you that Haverford is a great fragrance! I’ve only tried 3 fragrances from Stirling but they were all nice. I’ve seen coniferous come up a few times now, think I might have to get that one next. Thanks for your review.

Thanks so much for watching! I appreciate your feedback. Happy to hear you’re enjoying Stirling, they really know what they’re doing when it comes to scents and soaps. They will always be my top artisan. Haverford is definitely up there with some of their best. I absolutely love coniferous. It smells very realistic, like the actual inside of a pine tree with the sap and everything. Because of this it might not be for everyone, but if you’re into natural earthy scents, you will love it. My wife loves it too. Ozark mountain is a good option for a more “cologney” and wearable woody scent. That one smells more like a Christmas candle. I prefer coniferous personally. Thanks again and hope you have a great weekend.

in my humble shave den I have around 285 soaps , and from stirling 39 scents, the best barbershop scent is the one from stirling , then CAD from phoenix and classic from grunberger , I am fan of pachouli soaps , from stirling I have Glastonburry and today I used haverford also great scent . saludos desde mexico

Thanks for watching robert! Wow! That’s quite the collection you have there! You blow my collection right out of the water. I’m happy to see you enjoy Stirling as much as I do! They have always been and always will be my top soap artisan. I’ve smelled many barbershop scents and I agree that stirling’s is the best one out there. Smells exactly like my childhood barbershop. Can’t get enough of that scent. CAD is great too I agree. I was not a fan of Glastonbury when I got my sample, but maybe I’ll revisit it. Haverford is an amazing scent, one of my favorites. Great choices! Keep on shaving on brother and have a great week!

Great line up! I really enjoy Island Man and Vanilla Sandalwood. The Barbershop is good to, but I have that in their lotion, I like the vanilla in it. I'm leery of Bay Rums because most give me some sort of skin reaction...which sucks because I do enjoy the scent of most Bay Rum's. Another favorite of mine is Agar (which is being discontinued) and Arkadia, both really great scents. Agar is a bit darker with Oud and spices; Arkadia is a touch brighter with more floral notes, but not overly so in my opinion. Definitely pick up a sample if you can! Hope you have a great weekend!

      Thanks for watching James!
Thanks! Glad to hear you have some similar favorites! Yeah I can absolutely see how bay rum can cause that. Mu guess is it's the cinnamon in it that causes the reaction. I've heard many people say that about cinnamon, so that makes a lot of sense. I'm glad you enjoy the scent though! Agar and arkadia do sound nice! I like florals as well as oud and spices so I'll definitely snag some samples. Thanks for the recommendation!

Stirling is awesome. I started with proraso green and it smelled so good to me I nver wanted to branch out. Much better shave with this. This seems less processed and more natural too. I have ten samples. Can't wait to try pumpkin spice, hot apple cider and black cherry lol.

@@bluetoast8584 thanks so much for watching! Very happy to hear you’re been enjoying Stirling. They’ve always been my top soap. Definitely natural, and some of their soaps (like bay rum and coniferous) are scented with all essential oils which is awesome too. Nice choices, especially hot apple cider. I’ve been using the bath soap and it is CRAZY good. One of their best. Keep on shaving on brother and have a good week.

Stirling is my favorite brand, by far. The value is unmatched, period. My favorite scents might not match yours, but I've never gotten a bad on yet! I like Stirling Green, Sharp Dressed Man, Carmichael, Haverford, Scarn, Stirling Blue and last but not least, Stirling Gentleman. Rock on Stirling! Rod and Mandy are the best.

I have enough Stirling Shave soap to last for the rest of my life, given how little it takes, evenfor a 3 pass shave. But I will buy additional tubs or at least 1 oz. Samples to try different scents. The 1oz samples are awesome as they take up less space, save me a few $, at least until I like it and order the tub😂. Even the 1 oz. Samples last me for about 2 months. The best!

I have too many Stirling to count. Many of your favorites are mine too. I love Barbershop, Haverford, Sandpiper, Stirling Gentleman, Sharped Dress Man, Mountain Man. I can keep going as I have a ton of Stirling (thanks to samples). My all time favorite is Christmas Eve followed by Pumpkin Pie. I’m a sucker for seasonal scents. I’ve also been using their bath and facial soaps and this was my first winter that not only did I not feel like my skin was falling of, I didn’t have to use body lotion at all. Not once. It’s been a game changer for me. Keep the content coming!!

I’m glad you enjoy the brand as much as I do and have similar favorites! I’ve been wanting to smell sharp dressed man and mountain man for quite some time now. I’m glad Stirling offers cheap samples of soap and splash, so I’m gonna pick those up at some point. And I too love seasonal offerings! Yeah their body soap is great, I always snag one when I buy a soap tub. It’s actual good soap and not the crap they sell at the supermarket so it just works really well. Stirling does everything amazing you gotta love it.
Anyway thanks for your support and hope you enjoy your weekend!

My first shave soap was from PAA, but I went to Stirling for my next several because of how great a deal they were. I've got Baker Street, Gin & Tonic, Glacial Black Cherry, Almond Creme, and Frankincense & Myrrh and I love those. Probably Baker Street is my favorite, followed by Frankincense & Myrrh, and Gin & Tonic is right up there too especially for the summer, but they're all good IMO. I've also bought a lot of their bar soaps which I highly recommend as well, really high quality and a great way to test out the different scents.

Yeah, Stirling easily has the best deals in the industry. 5.8 oz for 14 bucks is just insane. Great choices. Frankly I haven’t smelled any of those but I’ve heard great things about them. I’m sure I would enjoy frankincense and myrrh very much since I’m an earthy scent fan. I’m glad you’re enjoying them! I’m low on bath soap so I appreciate the reminder to stock up on some Stirling! Always great to test out scents with bath soaps, I couldn’t agree more.
Appreciate you watching my friend and you enjoy the weekend :)

I've heard a lot of good things about sandpiper so I'll probably get a sample of that one soon. Campania is nice, I had a sample of that and enjoyed it a lot. A few people on my last video mentioned they enjoyed margaritas in the arctic, so I have to add that one to the list as well.

Just subscribed. Happy to see another Stirling fan and someone who enjoys vintage razors. I can't relate to the channels that use overly expensive gear. All my razors and brushes are cheap and they perform beautifully and last forever. Thanks for sharing your recommendations. Satsuma and weekend in Malibu are definitely on my list. Hey robert, thanks for watching! I don’t think vespers and Christmas Eve smells similar. Christmas Eve smells like a Christmas tree (pine and balsam) with some sweetness added form the vanilla and cranberry. Vespers is more complex and is made to smell like an entire Christmas village. Vespers smells sweet, creamy, fruity and earthy, definitely will remind you of Christmas. Both are amazing scents but Christmas Eve is more traditional.

Hi Archie, thanks so much for watching, I really appreciate it a lot! I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the barbershop scent. compared to other shaving soaps, the scent on barbershop is a bit on the lighter side. But you still should be able to pick up some powder and vanilla. I'm wondering if you just got a bad batch possibly? The scent is much more strong and present in the aftershave, which I highly recommend. Sorry again this purchase didn't work out for you. Reach out to Stirling. They have great customer service and are always willing to help. Take care now!
